Jiang Feng repositioned himself next to Xing Kui and slammed his Jingu Staff at him.
Clang!
Xing Kui held his ax horizontally and blocked Jiang Feng’s attack.
While he managed to block Jiang Feng’s attack, he had to take a few steps back.
Jiang Feng looked at Xing Kui and his bulky physique, then asked coldly, “I don’t understand. What did Shen Ye offer you to the point where you are willing to die for him?”
Xing Kui then said, “He has one of the most important items to the Witchers. He also promised to give me 200,000 every month and the post of the Myth Group’s assistant guild leader. I will also be given shares of their monthly profit.”
Once he heard Xing Kui’s answer, Jiang Feng was slightly speechless as he realized his simple-mindedness.
Jiang Feng then asked, “With your current abilities, is it that difficult to earn money?”
As the Witchers’ Inheritor, Xing Kui, was very powerful. If he helped other players to farm for equipment, assist in quests or leveling up, he could earn much more than 200,000 per month.
Xing Kui gave it a thought then shook his head and said, “No, not difficult.”
Jiang Feng then asked again, “Do you feel that the Myth Group still has any value now? Does being the assistant guild leader mean anything anymore?”
With a majority of the Myth Group’s players leaving and most of their capital that had been taken away by the Ancient City of the Shifter Emperor, they could not grow at all. Other than a title, he did not receive another cent of the so-called shared profit.
Jiang Feng said with a smile, “If you follow me, then I will help you get that item from Shen Ye. I will give you 300,000 every month, and I will not limit your freedom. How does it sound?”
When Xing Kui heard Jiang Feng’s offer, he was instantly interested. But he hesitated.
While he was big and tough, that did not mean that he lacked the intellect. Otherwise, he would not have become the Witchers’ Inheritor.
If Jiang Feng could help him get that important item from the Witchers, and give him that much money, then he had no need to swear allegiance to a lunatic that was maddened by hate.
He thought about it and then looked at Jiang Feng and asked, “That item is not on him, but in the Myth Group’s storage. How can you help me take it?”
‘I say, no wonder the Donghuang Bell Fragment did not drop after killing Shen Ye so many times. He has hidden all the good things within the storage,’ Jiang Feng thought to himself.
He then continued and said, “Don’t worry, the storage isn’t a completely safe space. There are plenty of items within the game, and there naturally exist items that can open others’ storage space. If you believe me, I can get that item for you within two months’ time. If you don’t you can always continue to obey Shen Ye. But you must know that he will not give you that item for keeps. If he were to give it to you, there’s nothing stopping you from acting as you wish!”
The biggest weakness for the Inheritors in the game was that once their items had fallen into the hands of others, it would be very difficult for them to repossess it. In the worst-case scenario, they would become just like Xing Kui where he would be forced to become a servant for someone else in order to have a chance to retake their racial item.
Just like the Donghuang Bell fragments. Without the Transmutation System’s lottery function, there was almost no chance for him to take them back once the fragments had fallen into the hands of other players. He would be forced to serve another.
Luckily, he had access to the lottery. Since the game was programmed this way, then there must be items or some other ways to collect all of them. As long as such items existed within the game, he would have a chance to get them.
Other inheritors probably did not have the same luck as him. His guess was that it would be very difficult to gather their own Primordial Divine Artifacts.
As soon as he thought of the Primordial Divine Artifacts, he was reminded of the three that the Ancient Fiend of the Black Mountain possessed.
It had three pieces of three different Primordial Divine Artifacts. A fragment from the Donghuang Bell, the Pangu Ax, and the Fantian Seal.
“Does the Primordial Divine Artifact, the Pangu Ax, belong to the Witchers?” Jiang Feng asked Xing Kui, who was thinking about what he had said.

Xing Kui nodded and said, “Yes.”
“The Pangu Ax did not become a mere fragment. It must have split into other axes. I know where one of them is. If you will join me, I promise that I will collect all the weapons that came from the Pangu Ax,” Jiang Feng said.
Xing Kui was already moved by what Jiang Feng had offered him. When he heard what Jiang Feng said, he was even more enticed. He quickly nodded and said, “Alright! If you can help me collect all the weapons that came from the Pangu Ax, I will go with you!”
“Alright, then I leave this to you. Once you’re done, go to the Ancient City and look for Mu Xi!”
Jiang Feng said to Xing Kui with a smile then took out the Qiankun Gourd and put away Yanhu and Heifeng. He then jumped on the Silver Wolf King with Ling Feiyu in front of him and left.
“Let’s go!” He yelled out as the Silver Wolf King continued heading north.
“Ah… Xing Kui, what are you doing?”
“Xing Kui has betrayed us! Someone, go back and tell the guild leader!”

It did not take long before Jiang Feng could hear a short conversation and screams from behind him.
He did not need to think twice to know that Xing Kui had decimated the remaining players from the Myth Group. This would count as his proof of royalty.
The Flames, the Witchers, the Elves, the Humans, and the Shifters. All of them were in the same boat.
He felt that he was one step closer to restoring the glory of the Shifters.
“I wonder how many other races and Inheritors the game has. If there were many of them, it would be dangerous if they worked together with the Divines and the Infernals during the Great War. I need to find opportunities to forge alliances with them,” He thought to himself as he rode on the Silver Wolf King.
Ling Feiyu lay in Jiang Feng’s embrace and asked him, “Little Feng, should we find a way to call the Thunderclap Mantis, Guapi, and the rest to come back to us? Shen Ye doesn’t care about anything anymore and will solely target you. I’m afraid that he will hunt them down. We have already lost twelve bosses, if we lose any more of them…”
Jiang Feng then brushed his hand on Ling Feiyu’s face and shook his head with a smile. “There is no need to. Without Xing Kui, Shen Ye will not be able to touch them.”
Ling Feiyu then said, “What if Qiu Si is still with him? Qiu Si is the Inheritor of the Divines!”
“Impossible. Qiu Si has a heavy responsibility on him and wouldn’t have the time to play with Shen Ye and his little games. My guess is that he is somewhere improving himself.”

Within the Divine Dominion, there existed another microworld.
Within this microworld, many buildings were cloaked in mists, giving them the impression of where the Immortals live.
That was where the Celestial Courts were.
Doulu Palace, the residence of Taishang Laojun.
Qiu Si was currently within the palace.
A white-haired old man wearing a Taoist robe waved the fly whisk in his hand and a dozen gourds fell into Qiu Si’s hand.
“There are many pills within the gourds. Eat them all at once and they can increase your power. Consider them your reward for accomplishing this task for me.”
“Thank you, Ancient Master!”
Qiusi accepted the dozens of gourds with excitement. He looked at them, and they were all pills to increase his stats.
With glee, he opened each and every one of the gourds. He then took a gourd and poured all the pills into his mouth as if he was eating candy.
