When Wang Yu arrived at the PVP arena, Seven Blueberries' statuses was set to busy, it seemed like the tournament had already begun. So, Wang Yu decided to wait at their usual gathering spot for them.
Not long after, a white light flashed across as a warrior appeared in front of Wang Yu.
He had a dark expression on his face as he scoffed, "F*ck, aren't they the team with the highest win rate? What kind of standard is this?".
In the PVP arena, one could challenge anyone they picked. Some people fixed matches in order to boost their rating…
Of course, the system had ways of preventing this, once a player reaches 50% winrate and above, he would not gain any experience from these sorts of matches.
A high winrate was not definitely a good thing, it was just like League of Legends, if someone was just a bronze dog and was carried to higher ranks by better players, he would be beaten to a pulp in every single game.
Ambition and skill were two vastly different things.
After the warrior left, a few others passed by. They all had the same expressions and tones which indicated some sort of disappointment, as if they had been cheated.
After a few more minutes, Seven Blueberries and the Tibet Martial Bird came, there were two other players with them, a Priest and a Guardian.
Wang Yu had seen the Priest before, his name was rolling Mario and he was a crafty guy. He didn't recognise the Guardian.
The four Seven Blueberries members all had desolated faces, but rolling Mario and the Guardian were not scoffing like the others who had passed by, this made Wang Yu respect them a little more.
"Haha, Blueberry ladies, you guys lost…?" Wang Yu greeted them.
"Watch your words, f*ck you!".
The Guardian immediately flared up upon hearing this. The feeling of losing was never great. Even if Wang Yu had no ill intentions, the words were painful.
"Brother Bull!" Tibet Martial Bird raised her head in joy upon hearing his voice.
"You're here!".
"You guys know each other?" the Guardian asked, taken aback.
Tibet Martial Bird replied excitedly, "Yes, this is the friend we were talking about!".
The Guardian looked at him from head to toe and asked suspiciously, "A pugilist?".
"My name's Metal Bull!" Wang Yu stuck his hand out for a handshake.
"Metal, Metal Bull?" Rolling Mario's eyes widened as he heard this as he took a few steps back.
When rolling Mario brought his men to surround Wang Yu previously, Wang Yu was wearing a mask, this was why he could not immediately recognise him.
"What's the matter? Do you know him too?" the Guardian and Tibet Martial Bird both asked curiously.
"Of course! Don't you guys frequent the forums?" rolling Mario replied.

"Who has the time for that?" the two responded.
"This man is the strongest expert in the whole of 'Rebirth'!" rolling Mario pointed at Wang Yu and said.
"The strongest expert? No wonder brother Bull is so great… No wonder…" Tibet Martial Bird gasped.
As he said this, he rushed forward to Wang Yu and looked at him with a face of admiration and said, "Brother Bull, why didn't you tell me earlier…".
The strongest expert? That might be an exaggeration…
"It's just a rumour, a mere rumour," Wang Yu dismissed.
"The strongest expert? Is that true?" the Guardian asked softly with a tone of doubt.
Everyone's levels were still so low now, the level of a player itself was not a good representation of his skill. Equipment and powers were king. If Wang Yu was an assassin, it might have been believable, but for a pugilist…. Wasn't that a little far fetched?
"Definitely!" rolling Mario declared.
He thought the same way as this Guardian before, but after crossing paths with Wang Yu, there was no shred of doubt.
A guy who could drift about despite being surrounded by so many people, if he wasn't the best, who was?
"So what in the world happened?" Wang Yu walked over to Seven Blueberries and asked.
Seven Blueberries was not the kind who was after fame or glory, she was often timid, even when she was giving out commands as the squad leader. When she called Wang Yu down to help this time, there had to be something urgent.
"I… I…" Seven Blueberries stuttered.
"We're being targeted by someone!" Tibet Martial Bird said.
"Targeted? What do you mean?" Wang Yu asked.
This was the PVP arena, not the practice grounds, why would anyone target them here?
Tibet Martial Bird said, "I don't know what's going on, but since this morning, there have been multiple teams that have been picking us!".
"The team's winrate is so high, isn't that normal?" Wang Yu replied.
"Those teams came out from nowhere and took turns challenging us, we've been beaten since morning…".
"Oh… That's pretty brutal, why didn't you guys just forfeit straight away?" Wang Yu asked.
"Those teams came ready, the list was full, we had no chance to reject them…".
Within the PVP arena, winning and losing were normal things, everyone had their bad days. Usually when that happened, the team would reset and call it a day.
But when they were challenged by others, things were different. If they declined a challenge, their accumulated points would drop. If there were other teams in wait to challenge them, and they continue to forfeit, the points would virtually be wiped out. In the worst case scenario, they might even be banned from entering the PVP arena for a few days.
Selective battles didn't award much points for victories, but losses were heavy… Only when a team's points fell to 0 could they reject battles.
Seven Blueberries and the other two had endured so many battles in the PVP arena with Wang Yu, they definitely could not let their points slip away just like that.
