Although Qin Ruo had some doubts, he thought rationally and did not bring Xiaoxiao over to question them further. First and foremost, they did not really know each other. Secondly, Xiaoxiao had already rejected them. Even if they knew they were from the big leagues, Qin Ruo still would not have joined them—neither would Xiaoxiao.
Immediately, Qin Ruo made a detour with Xiaoxiao from the current location of Scarlet Bauhinia’s group, moving to a corner of Killer Bee Valley where it was filled with Tier 3 Killer Bees. He wanted to observe the results of Xiaoxiao’s whole day training and her progress in regards to Aquamancy.
Unexpectedly!
The mere sight of her progress was shocking!
Qin Ruo’s mind was blown away at the spectacle!
From the moment Xiaoxiao began condensing, Qin Ruo was able to sense an immense amount of water elements crazily gathering from every direction toward Xiaoxiao, till an Aquaball with a diameter of twenty centimeters was formed.
‘Aquaball?
‘Frost Bullet?’
These were two terms that flashed through Qin Ruo’s mind, but was turned down as the amount of water element that Xiaoxiao gathering was too immense—it was more than what Aquarampart needed.
‘It can’t possibly be condensing for just a simple Frost Bullet right….’
Once this thought arose, Qin Ruo who was feeling bored began to feel intrigued. As he began to pay more attention to each detail of Xiaoxiao’s movement and the water element which was continuously pouring into the Aquaball in front of her, he was surprised and became even more curious about the outcome.
In contrast, Xiaoxiao was lightly biting her lower lip, with the expressions of thrill and excitement on her face. While she proficiently manipulated the water elements to gather before her and form the Aquaball, she had to simultaneously maintain the unstable Aquaball’s form which was on the verge of exploding.
After three whole seconds, the charging process finally ended after Xiaoxiao uttered the word “Freeze”.
Swoosh!
After gathering a whole two Aquarampart’s worth of water elements to form the Aquaball, right at that moment it began to freeze, a strong gust of icy frost appeared. Its chill was comparable to the frost emitted by Qin Ruo’s Twelve Frostramparts Formation. If it wasn’t for Qin Ruo’s barrier, even standing just beside Xiaoxiao during the Frost Bullet’s formation would have affected him.
Qin Ruo was impressed and happily look towards Xiaoxiao while gasping…
‘Self-created skill!’
Only a few days after joining the game, Xiaoxiao was able to discover a different approach by herself, creating a skill which had comparable power with a Tier 3 spell. Even though Xiaoxiao’s spell has not been launched and the results had not been seen, based on Qin Ruo’s understanding towards water elements, he was able to deduce the immense amount of water elements within the compressed Frost Bullet that this spell’s power surpassed the Tier 3 Frost Lance!
A spell ranging between Tier 3 and 4! Not to mention that Xiaoxiao accomplished it with just a simple Tier 1 Elementalism.
Qin Ruo could not help but be filled with admiration for Xiaoxiao who exceeded all his expectations, as she was able to raise her level to 31 and greatly improve her Elementalism in just a short span of three days. At the same time, he had even higher expectations at the power the spell could unleash and how well Xiaoxiao was able to master it.
Subsequently, Qin Ruo was stunned speechless…
A Level 32 Twin-headed Bee which was just aggroed by Xiaoxiao into her attack range was shot by the compressed Frost Bullet she launched.
Qin Ruo was able to pay close attention right before the moment when the compressed Frost Bullet hit the Twin-headed Bee, the Twin-headed Bee’s speed was reduced immediately, indicating that it was clearly affected by the frost that the Frost Bullet emanated.
At the moment it was hit, the Twin-headed Bee did not even get the chance to let out a shriek and was instantly covered fully with a layer of frost. Its fluttering wing movements began to slow down significantly till it was noticeable by the naked eye like a flying jalopy.
“The freezing effect is not bad.”

As Qin Ruo was impressed by the spectacle, before the targeted Twin-headed Bee was able to recover from the assault of the compressed Frost Bullet, the Frost Bullet which landed on its body suddenly exploded!
Next, a clear ear-splitting sound reverberated throughout the battlefield. Frost shards as sharp as a surgical knife easily dealt multiple lacerations across the Twin-headed Bee’s body; the Twin-headed Bee was swaying wildly in the wind as though it was thrown in a blender.
Qin Ruo was stumped!
As though something unimaginable happened before his eyes, he stared wide-eyed at the Twin-headed Bee’s body which was riddled with ice shards as it paused for more than a second and glanced at Xiaoxiao.
The Twin-headed Bee was in such a pitiable condition as its speed was reduced so notably that its wings were fluttering in a faltering and irregular manner—green bodily fluids dripping from its wounded body ridden with lacerations.
But what caught Qin Ruo’s attention was not the damage dealt toward the Twin-headed Bee by the spell, neither was he shocked by the amazing freezing effect of the compact Frost Bullet—he was more shocked by Xiaoxiao’s unique way of thinking…
Compressed Frost Bullet attack followed by the Frost Bullet exploding!
Especially the aftermath where the Frost Bullet exploded, Xiaoxiao was able to release the forcefully compressed water elements and frost within it in such an explosive manner. Its attack range and firepower greatly exceeded Frostburst, which made it a spell between Tier 3 and 4!
Obviously, if it was just a mere compressed explosion spell, Qin Ruo would not have such a shocked expression, apart from that Xiaoxiao was able to create a compressed Frost Bullet in just 3 seconds and was able to deal a Tier 3 attack twice in an instant, the speed and pace of her attack was equivalent to a Berserker’s Fusion Blitz.
Qin Ruo understood clearly how advantageous it was for an Elementalist to be able to cast two spells with an attack comparable to a Tier 4 spell in such a short time. Furthermore, this spell had a great Frozen and Stun effect, which was exceptional! In short, this spell by Xiaoxiao is more practical than his self-created Frostweb and Twelve Frostramparts Formation as it was more advantageous for an Elementalist who wants to go leveling as a solo player.
After Xiaoxiao launched another common Frost Bullet to take out the Twin-headed Bee, Qin Ruo was able to realize the full potential of her new spell. An attack which exceeded a Tier 3 spell, high attribute damage and able to be launched consecutively.
Standing behind Xiaoxiao quietly, Qin Ruo began to follow Xiaoxiao’s manipulation technique and copy Xiaoxiao’s “Compressed Frost Bullet”…
Qin Ruo’s action immediately caught Xiaoxiao’s attention, as she happily stopped aggroing monsters and looked at Qin Ruo. As an Aquaball formed in his palms, her eyes began to fill with amazement.
In contrast, Qin Ruo being worthy of his Intermediate-level water Elementalism surpassed Xiaoxiao greatly in understanding and manipuation of water elements. The same Beginner-level elemental charging done by Qin Ruo was much faster and stable!
The Aquaball within Qin Ruo’s palm abruptly gathered the water elements around Qin Ruo as if it was a blackhole.
Just by Qin Ruo’s condensing speed and how fast he was able to familiarize with the skill was enough to gain Xiaoxiao’s admiration, as she was able to clearly recognize the difference between Qin Ruo and her. Furthermore, the Aquaball within Qin Ruo’s palm did not show any signs of instability and bursting, instead the Aquaball’s surface was getting smoother and filled to the brim until it was on the verge exploding!
After charging for a full 2 seconds, Qin Ruo unhesitatingly said, “Freeze!”
The smooth and flawless Aquaball in his hand began to freeze at a visible speed! Piercing cold frost began to emanate from the compressed Frost Bullet, but from Qin Ruo’s viewpoint it looked harmonious and strong.
“Self-created magic skill successful!”
The system notification then appeared.
Tier 3 Skill named Compressed Frost Bullet. Single-target spell. Novice level. Magic Attack 20. Comes with freezing and slowed effect. Able to reduce the target’s speed by 20%. After striking the target, target’s speed can be reduced up to 50%. After striking the target, the compressed Frost Bullet can be triggered to explode, dealing Magic Attack of 20-25 within a radius of five meters around the target. Attack comes with laceration. 50 damage per second. Duration of 10 seconds!”
This self-created skill had been named by another player. This indicated that Qin Ruo was not the first player to create this skill. However, Qin Ruo was shocked by the aftermath damage attribute of the Compressed Frost Bullet.
‘Woah!’
The second attack was an AoE spell, and not only did its damage exceed the first attack, it also had an extra surprise—laceration attribute.
“Xiaoxiao, you are really amazing, you created an outstanding spell!” After launching the spell, Qin Ruo look toward Xiaoxiao who was pleased with herself and gave her a heartfelt praise.
Seeing that Xiaoxiao was happy and pleased with herself, Qin Ruo suddenly smiled as he finally understood why Scarlet Bauhinia and Homme Fatale wanted to invite a Tier 3 Aquamancer to their Clan…
