Winter Demesne! The first base of operation the Fallen Angels had established in the Mythical Continent!

This was huge news amongst the player community. Everyone was talking about it on the official forum. This, in turn, led many players from the Angel Faction to start wanting to join the Fallen Angels League.

In the meantime, the Demon Faction players had experienced a huge pressure… on the second day Winter Demesne was built, a huge incident had happened within the Demon Faction.

Satan’s Salvation had invited the Black Witches and Zeus legion to join in their Operation Pioneer in the Underworld. Over 200,000 members were gathered and had pushed their defense lines further and further into the Underworld’s deeper darker regions. The greed for more areas to grind Experience Points had ultimately led to their downfall—their rapidly expanding defense lines had inevitably attracted the attention of a huge mysterious Boss.

In just an hour, thousands and thousands of players were slaughtered by the mysterious Boss, crushing their lines of defense!

Even though Savior and many other Veteran Champions were doing their best to fend off the oncoming threat, no one was able to withstand the wrath of the mysterious Boss. No one was able to survive longer than a minute facing the darn thing at all!

As a result, Satan’s Salvation’s twenty billion gold coins were all wasted–all gone down the gutter in just one day. Other than that, over 50,000 people had lost at least one piece of equipment and had their levels lowered drastically.

On the same day they failed their Project Operation, over 5,000 members left Satan’s Salvation.

Satan’s Salvation was doomed.

And that was not the only bad news for the Demon Faction.

On the same day, the Maverick Vatican was facing off a powerful, mysterious Boss too outside of their city’s construction site. They suspected that they were facing off a Divine Tier Boss–one that they didn’t make any preparation to take on at all.

In an instant, everyone from the Maverick Vatican felt a huge woeful agony striking their minds.

It would appear that every League that commenced Project Pioneer would need to face off a Divine-tier Boss.

The official forum was flooded with raging discussions and gossip right after that…

Many had posted videos that they had recorded onto the forum, pointing out that the Fallen Angels had made some manpower relocation on the sixth day of their city’s construction. It was quite clear that even the Fallen Angels too were facing the same type of threat back then. The only difference between the Fallen Angels and Satan’s Salvation was that the former had drafted a plan and prepared for the Divine Boss while the latter didn’t.

This led many in the player community to second guess their preconceived notion that “the Demon Faction players are stronger than the Angel Faction players”…

Cuddling Xiaoxiao’s shapely body in his arms, Qin Ruo’s eyes were skimming through posts after posts on the official forum that talked about recent events. Reading through these posts, he couldn’t help but grin confidently.

The beauty in his arms, looked up and looked at him with her huge alluring. “Ruo, back then when we’re fighting the Grand Reaper… you ordered everyone to not video-record anything. You also asked everyone to not leak any information about the Divine Specter attacking our city’s construction site… did you do that because you were planning for all this to happen?”

“Oh, you want to know?”

Qin Ruo grinned guilefully at Xiaoxiao and tapped his cheek with his finger.

“If you kiss me, I’ll tell you.”

“Hmph.”

Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes at him after hearing this. Yet, after Qin Ruo’s insistence, she blushed before closing her eyes and inching closer to give him a kiss.

Yet, something felt different when she rosy lips landed on his “cheek”. Then, she quickly opened her eyes and found that her lips were now sealed tightly by Qin Ruo’s lips. Before she could react, Qin Ruo’s tongue swiftly slid into her mouth.

Although Xiaoxiao was upset that she got tricked, Qin Ruo’s skillful kiss and warm cuddling had gradually lowered her guard. Qin Ruo’s hands were massaging her curvy body, resulting in a surge of heat and warmth running through her abdomen and chest.

As Xiaoxiao’s sweet moans echoed in the room, her satin nightie was pulled down… and slipped off from her silky legs.

And then… he pulled out his meaty girth and slid it into her…

A shade of rosy blush emerged on her adorable cheeks, Xiaoxiao tightly clung onto Qin Ruo, arms around his manly neck and legs around his powerful waist, enduring swash after swash of excitement ramming into her. Biting her lower lip lightly, squeals and moans of passion were caroled by the exquisite goddess as she embraced the love of her life affectionately.

“…”

After a long intimate moment, the two love birds clung onto one another on the sofa, quietly savoring the hearty bliss that was lingering from their passionate consummation earlier.

“You’re such a naughty jerk.”

Xiaoxiao pinched Qin Ruo’s shoulder lightly as she puffed up her cheeks.

“You asked for a kiss… not… not this…”

“Oh, really now? I thought our adorable Xiaoxiao here was enjoying herself more than I did… ouch!”

Before Qin Ruo could finish his words, Xiaoxiao nipped her teeth into his shoulder.

“Hmph.”

Puffing her cheek again, the blushing Xiaoxiao leered at him again.

“This is your punishment for bad-mouthing a good lady. Let’s see if you’re going to tease me like that again.”

“Come on, I’m telling the truth. Fine, fine… if it makes you happy… perhaps I’ll let you bite this other side too?” Qin Ruo lowered his other unbitten shoulder toward Xiaoxiao as he pitifully retorted.

Seeing him still teasing her, Xiaoxiao knew she couldn’t make him stop toying around with her. So, she snappishly turned her head aside.

“I’m too tired to take another bite.”

Then, she turned her starry eyes back to Qin Ruo and held his face with her fair hands.

“Now, I’m warning you. You better tell me that thing I asked before we… we… or else I’ll beat you into a swine.”

“Of course!”

Qin Ruo quickly inched closer and give her a peck on the lips; then, he explained everything to her, as promised.

In fact, before commencing Project Pioneer, Qin Ruo had foreseen that there could be other Leagues that would join the ride and commence their own Project Pioneer too. The ones who would do that, in such a short time, would most likely be Satan’s Salvation and Maverick Vatican from the Demon Faction. Then, the ones that would follow suit would be Hall of Heroes, Netherspirit’s Claw, and Zeus Legion.

At the time…

Qin Ruo had already made preparations and finished drafting plans for armed conflicts. Thus, this made it much more viable for him and his gang to take out a Divine Specter.

If they were to record their battles with the Divine Specter on video, the new Leagues that rose up later would have more useful data for reference when trying their hands on Project Pioneer, making it easier to defeat the Divine Specters.

Qin Ruo had thought that…

If everyone in the Angel Faction knew about the Divine Specters and the ways of dealing with them, there was no drawback for anyone at all since everyone was an ally within the faction.

However…

If the Demon Faction were to acquire this information, a huge ruckus would be kicked up in the Underworld as more and more cities were built–making the entire Underworld identical to the warring Mythical Continent.

Thus, Qin Ruo ordered everyone, including the other four League Masters, to never video-record their battle with the Grand Reaper and also never to mention the Divine Specter to outsiders.

That was how even up to this point in time, no one outside of the Five Leagues knew the potential threat from the Divine Specter when commencing Project Pioneer at all.

Satan’s Salvation had a nasty run of ill fortune–they had expanded their defense lines too far and quickly, reaching the Divine Specter within hours after they had commenced their Project Pioneer. Without any plan to handle the Divine Specter at all, their defense lines were crushed almost in an instant, like an unarmed civilian dashing toward a firing gun!

There was no other fate for Satan’s Salvation other than having their massive army laid waste by the Divine Specter.

“I feel bad for Satan’s Salvation. They had lost over 5,000 members in just one day. I heard that their League’s Honor Points had dropped by at least one million points too. If they can’t recover from this in the next three days, I think Satan’s Salvation would be disbanded.”

Xiaoxiao sighed, sympathizing Satan’s Salvation and Savior, as she browsed the latest information released on Honor and Glory’s official website.

“What’s there to feel bad for?”

Qin Ruo didn’t seem bothered at all.

It was undeniable that Savior was a formidable opponent on the battlefield. No one had the confidence to defeat him in a one-versus-one duel, not even Qin Ruo.

Yet…

Every person had a weakness. Savior might be a powerful combatant, but he wasn’t a good leader. Not being able to illicit the full potential of his fighters within the League, Satan’s Salvation could not even compete with Hall of Heroes when it came to group battles.

And of course… they also could not win against the Fallen Angels too.

After becoming one of the strongest players in his faction for so long and, still, his League wasn’t fully developed and established. It would be a matter of time before all the deadweights in his League ruined everything… and surely enough, this massive failure had resulted in huge waves of members leaving their League. Poor leadership, League members not united… all these problems had now beginning to implode within Satan’s Salvation.

A League would be replaced by the other new League when it lost its relevance in the player community. This was all nothing but the law of natural selection–if you were weak, you would be gobbled up and replaced.

Listening to Qin Ruo’s lengthy lecture, Xiaoxiao nodded as her eyes glistened up. Suddenly, she retorted inquisitively.

“Wait, Satan’s Salvation couldn’t be imploding due to sheer incompetence. Look at their people. Their levels are rather high, and they had occupied the top places in the Level Leader Board for a long time too.”

“Level?”

Qin Ruo let out a smirk.

“Level isn’t everything.”

This was something that he learned after playing this game for quite some time.

Back then, he was able to defeat a Tier 4 Solarmancer when he was just a Tier 3 Aquamancer. And during the Grand Tournament, Sinistress was 4 Levels higher than him. Yet, she was defeated.

“The real strength lies within your wisdom. Your strength and combat prowess depend on whether or not you’re capable of utilizing your abilities and skills well… and also knowing how to use every advantage available to you wisely.”

Xiaoxiao nodded slowly as she listened to Qin Ruo’s lecture again.

“However, if we’re going to become unbeatable, there’s one thing we should also do.”

Looking at the inquisitive gaze from Xiaoxiao, Qin Ruo continued explaining with a smile.

“Create advantages for ourselves.”

When you have learned all the advantages that you could benefit from and then make full use of them, you should also try to construct and build all sorts of advantages for yourself. Then, your League would be able to thrive.

“Hmm…”

After hearing this, Xiaoxiao asked.

“What advantages do we have at the moment?”

“There are plenty of them.”

Qin Ruo continued with a smile.

“We’ve got people with high Levels, good gears, and loyalty. Everyone in the League is united. Then, we also have our base of operation now. On top of that, we’ve got a good reputation, a lot of allies… all of these are our, Fallen Angels’, advantages.”

“On top of that, there are also our Black Flame Steeds, Chimeras, and Pangolins. Remember? These Cavalry Troops? These are the advantages that we’re building at the moment.”

Xiaoxiao’s eyes lit up after hearing this.

“That’s right.”

Nodding, Qin Ruo spoke to her smilingly, “And that’s not all… these advantages aren’t nearly enough…”

“Not enough?”

Xiaoxiao was surprised to hear this.

“So, you’ve been scheming, haven’t you?”

“No, I haven’t. We’ve just recently acquired our base. So, we need time to regroup… besides, I’m about to reach Level 58. Before reaching Level 60, we shouldn’t take too much risk. We’ll need to wait until I’ve reached Level 60. When I’ve advanced to Demigod tier, when I’ve acquired my Demigod set, then, we’ll continue on our expedition in the Underworld.”
