Chapter 12: 2.6 The Mob Character Is A False Magician

System 777 leisurely watched the two kids exchange blows.

Like a child waiting for their parent to complete whatever task they are working on, the silver ball waited on the sidelines quietly. Although it may appear lonely on its own, the system is actually having a good time. Jin Wei had been lacking in action for many worlds and seeing him actively engaging in a fight with someone-and with THE protagonist at that-made things a little more exciting.

In fact, System 777 has been broadcasting the entire event using its terminal.

The audience is obviously Jin Wei's group of acquaintances and their systems from other dimensions who are now having a good look while on break. A bet could have made if only they were not separated by the rules of time and space. The only thing System 777 can do is to have a poll and have everyone decide which one will win the fight.

Without a doubt, the protagonist won by a significant margin!

After a long exchange of hundred punches or so, someone finally hit the ground. Jin Wei wiped the blood from off from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand as he delivered one more light kick unto the unconscious kid. He spat out a few broken teeth bones that got broken by the fight and tasted iron for the first time after a very long time.

It left a strange taste in his mouth.

As soon as the match ended, System 777 disabled the private broadcast and cruised alongside Jin Wei. It trotted excitedly towards its host, orbiting him eagerly before launching a handful of tiny sparkles and streamers to celebrate his victory. A number one flag and a golden trophy flashed above Jin Wei's head, along with a brief jubilant sound of "CONGRATULATIONS", expressing the solid support it has for its host.

Jin Wei rolled his eyes as his body swayed. He slumped against the wall for support.

Ah, the protagonist's strength is nothing to take lightly. Take a look at him right now. The protagonist was able to restrain him down and score a number of solid blows despite the fact that he was bigger and more skilled in combat. Jin Wei had no idea he would wind up being so severely beaten.

Every part of his body is sore ba!

Jin Wei could not help but snort from his system's flattery.

It was enlightened? Hmph, don't even dare to try acting coy. He knows that his system is using him as betting material on the platform! Even though he is busy risking his life, he could still see what is happening around him. He has worked within the system for so long that he is familiar with its pitfalls.

The image of currying favor is too evident.

Anyway, Jin Wei did not want to open this topic and argue since his system would never acknowledge it. He strode over to a wooden crate and slouched down to rest. He used his sleeve to wipe off the sweat and grime from his face. Seeing that Jin Wei is mostly fine, the system chose to hover over the protagonist to check its beaten state.

Despite System 777's assurances that beating the protagonist in the process of completing the task is "safe," they must nonetheless make sure that the protagonist wasn't killed "accidentally".

Jin Wei looked at the battered child and jeered, "Regardless how absurd the world may be, this person's unexpected surge in power is intolerable. Being the most beloved child in the entire world must be nice."

That is more than a hundred blows. Any normal person would be dead.

The anomaly was also detected by the system. It inspected the condition of the protagonist's body and was shocked to discover that Laurem had truly been able to activate his Demon and Werebeast blood and could even successfully transition between them without any problem. This should not occur until Laurem meets with his instructor.

Actually, this ability to transition between racial forms and use their racial skills is impossible.

Just to imagine conceiving an elf-angel hybrid child. The youngster can either learn to fly and convert into an angel or learn to protect the forest and evolve into an elf. The first talent they deploy becomes their permanent baseline until death.

It is understandable why Jin Wei was severely beaten. Both the Demon race and the Werebeast race are recognized for their ferocity. To survive a frenzied battle with a juvenile werebeast is already a great feat for Jin Wei. It also demonstrates that, from a normal human perspective, Jin Wei is not someone to mess about with.

"Give me medicine," Jin Wei called out. "I am probably injured... well, this kid too."

A mob character won't be injured or killed if they don't interfere with the world that's why Jin Wei is confident that he wouldn't be using the medicine that often.

The system, however, disagreed and thought that the protagonist will not die that easily. If these punches could kill him then should the system mock the world's difficulty? Moreover, the scan reveals that this child is recuperating quickly on its own. This young man would recover without any scars even if Jin Wei repeatedly stabbed him.

Laurem is the most favorite child in this world. If ever Jin Wei did something over the line, even if the tasks are given by the Ninth Heaven, they will be terminated by the Tribulations of the Heaven.

Tribulations of the Heaven is the World's One Thousand Lightning Strikes punishment that has a strength of extinguishing souls. System 777 remembered that there is this one transmigrator that was exiled by the World's consciousness after almost killing the protagonist.

The system didn't dare to speak its opinion - because the system is too lazy to care - and followed Jin Wei's command. A glowing transparent glass vial suddenly appeared midair and floated towards Jin Wei. Inside the vial is a gelatinous translucent red pill in the size of a fingernail.

As stated by the system, this is a limited-edition healing capsule that cannot be purchased in the shop and is only provided when a transmigrator is promoted. It is a one-world consumable item, with each vial carrying twenty-five to thirty capsules depending on the level of the transmigrator.

This medicine is peculiar and quite temperamental but very effective in treating injuries. It is peculiar and temperamental since the medicine tastes quite quirky and different per person. Some says it tastes sweet like a candy while some complained that it tastes as sour as a lemon.

Laurem is sprawled out on the ground, arms and legs outstretched. Jin Wei made sure that the other person is already unconscious before placing a pill on the youth's mouth. The drug had a pleasant odor that made everyone who smelled it feel at ease. The tablet disintegrated immediately in Laurem's mouth.

"Tsk," Jin Wei clicked his tongue. He could smell the sweet scent from the medicine and complained internally. "Even the medicine favored him."

Jin Wei swallowed one tablet as well, scrunching his face as if he had eaten something bitter. He gave a quick glance to the lone guy on the ground before walking away quietly.
