While Kang Min and Chong Xiezi weren’t as terrifying, they were also incredibly destructive. Kang Min had upgraded her saber, but the rings that Sage created for her were still mounted upon it. Her saber was like a full bag of tricks. It could strike with the weight of a small mountain, or capture enemy attacks within it. Even worse, it could release all sorts of strange things. Flames, Ice, Demonic Beasts, Poisonous liquids, and hidden weapons of all sorts. Each of the rings was a different type of Storage Treasure, and when combined with her already immense skill at wielding the giant saber in battle it covered for her weaknesses in long range attacks and defense.

Chong Xiezi and those she brought on the other hand were equal parts entrancing and deadly. Their exquisite red dresses had beautiful flowers embroidered upon them, which only brought out the beauty of their slim bodies and meticulously groomed appearances. They wore full makeup and had elegantly coiffed and braided hair. Yet, that was all in stark contrast to their actions. Chong Xiezi held a viciously barbed whip, while her other Xie faction friends had other torture implements as weapons. Spiked clubs, hooks on chains, skinning knives, and even what looked like a giant set of pliers. They smiled sweetly and whispered sweet words to the enemy Cultivators, distracting them from the Scarlet Winged Scorpions that were flying around them. Once they were stung, the women would waltz over and use their various torture implements to slowly kill them, causing even greater terror among the enemy ranks and creating more opportunities for the scorpions to strike.

These three weren’t the only elites.

Nearby Chong Xiezi, there were also a half-dozen Cultivators with rust colored robes. They weren’t from the Xie faction, but the Wa. They were here to show their support for Lang Sheng and had come to help bail him out. They pulled their heads back, giving them the look of many more chins than usual. Then a loud frog-like croak came from them and they leapt into the air. Their mouths opened and like a flash their tongue shot out and snatched the weapons from enemy hands to buy some time. At their sides, they each released a toad a few feet tall. These toads had huge and strong front legs, the same size as its single rear leg. These three-legged toads tilted their heads back and opened their mouths and then the Wa Cultivators jumped inside. They stepped into the toad’s mouths like a sack that came up to their knees and then reached down and pulled the lips of the toad upward. There was a strange stretch and twist and the Wa pulled the toads around them like a suit. After just a moment they were all covered with a thick layer of leathery skin-like armor, complete with frog heads as helmets. With their new toad suits, they were many times faster and stronger, running around the field and smashing things with their webbed fists.

Abbot Kunga, Bi Hongbing, and Liu Ao were no slouches either. While they were far from the level of the young geniuses, they had still led large groups for many years and had acquired much experience along the way. Liu Ao had led a Sect for many years long before he joined the Jade Horde, while Abbot Kunga was a very wise and experienced person who could be said to have lived at least three lives. Bi Hongbing on the other hand was the greatest young genius of the Jade Horde. While she couldn’t compare to those on top of the kingdom, she was still at the level of the top talents in a province.

Abbot Kunga’s body glowed with golden light, yet his palms turned black. The light around his body deflected attacks while his black palms seemed to pass through most obstructions and crash down upon his enemies bodies. Liu Ao was a shameless and perverted old man, but he had led the Brass Earth Company, and Sect before that. His every motion caused the ground to surge up, thin spear-like spikes and lances shot up from the ground, the yellow earth had a metallic glint to it, which made them look like brass and reinforced them to the level of mortal treasures. With the ability of his spikes to shoot up from any part of the ground, he used them to shamelessly pin feet to the ground and stab spears through people from the back. Bi Hongbing on the other hand, triumphed through sheer might. She utilized a terrible Cultivation Technique that allowed her to manipulate blood like water, for every wound on the battlefield nearby her, she got stronger and stronger. She used some of the most common Water natured Qi Techniques to cause cuts to multiply in size, or use the corpse of a fallen comrade as a geyser to slice someone in half.

Two other women were also causing a large stir, and Sage had tried to pay special attention to them. One of them was because he was worried. Wan Ling did not have a high level of cultivation, and he was surprised she had come in person. Thankfully, she was surrounded by thousands of Dragoons. At the same time she was directing the others of the Jade Horde to form large formations and sending them out to assist the Swamp Genesis Spider. While they were large in number, they weren’t all that powerful individually. She immediately recognized that the Living Disaster was lacking in intelligence and started to send her troops to harass it. The Hoplites started creating Steel Silk lines, which they wove together and tossed up to the Dragoons. Some of the Dragoons distracted the Living Disaster while others were responsible for wrapping the silk lines around it. The Hoplites on the ground held the other side and acted as the anchor for the lines to hinder the walking mountain. They had little chance of moving such a gigantic creature’s whole body, but with all their effort focused on just a single limb they quickly started to hinder the beast.

As for the last woman, Sage found himself smiling when he saw that same rampage he’d seen so long ago. The slim beautiful woman was suddenly roaring like a beast. Blue veins crawled over her skin and her muscles seemed to inflate an extra size. She stomped upon the ground and caused a small explosion, darting forward like a rocket and smashing her fist into the enemy ranks. A brilliant red fireball flew in her direction, but she merely punched the air and a shockwave of air pressure smashed the fireball apart. She fought with pure physical strength, and they quickly learned to keep distance from her, but she solved this by smashing the ground to create a boulder and then hurling it at her enemies. Worse yet, she brought along three other women with the same ability, who were accompanied by men that were the equal of Bi Hongbing, provincial geniuses. They were all powerful fellows roped into the Zhu Clan by marriage.

Within just a few minutes, the side with only a hundred and fifty was massacring the force of a thousand that stood against them.

Fu Xidong, Lady Diyin, and the Violet Light Ancestor were suddenly overcome with dread. Even if they were only rank fives, if those Core Formation Cultivators were to come against them in large numbers even they would feel threatened. Especially that fellow Song Lu Tian. He was so powerful that they’d all heard of him before, but only after seeing him in action could they truly appreciate the rumors.
