"I did it, master," Ava said, alongside Victoria and Elsa. Their faces were dark as they returned to the Pale Gate. "But Zantar he—"
"I saw," I gravely mentioned, shaken by the scene by the power of that Fallen. "I have seen many things, but he toyed with that Abyssal Guardian once he stood up from that punch. I guess that is to be expected, eh? Paragons are the epitome of power. To be one, not only must your skills be at the highest peak of Heaven, but so must your mind. He mastered Form I, Serian. How are Arsene's family?"
"Taken care of, we dropped them off on Midgard." Said Victoria.
"We got there just in time." Elsa added on, running her fingers through her hair to position it behind her ear, "But a Fallen Angel in Heaven is not good. I fear for Valis's safety."
"No need," I calmly addressed, "or did you forget Eroma is his master. He may be perverted, but even you must agree with his results. Valis has long since proved himself, plus he is no longer a child."
"I would disagree, Master," The ice maiden smoothly opposed, shaking her head. "He will always be a child to me. No matter how tall he gets. It feels like just yesterday he would climb into our bed crying."
Touching my stomach, I wondered if I would feel like so one day. I fell into wonder when Ava's voice pulled me from my thoughts. "What are we to do now, Master." She asked curiously.
"Now?" I said, thinking of Arsene, "Not much we can do. Arsene needs to head to Noctem. From there, he needs to get strong."
"Very strong if he wishes to survive on Iluthtath," Zariels firm voice resounded. He materialized behind me, carrying a poised expression. "A word, Lady Lilith?"
The girls lowered their heads and dismissed themselves, and I turned to the piercing silver eyes of Zariel. "So?"
"So?" He repeated in amusement, "It has been a while since someone spoke so informally to me. I hope you are not letting my elder brother's mannerism rub off on you. His idiocy likes to spread." Zariel seemed to chuckle, then sighed, causing me to grow a bit nervous.
I didn't know why but Zariel just made me uncomfortable. It was terrifying. It was almost like his very existence was trying to correct the imperfection I held.
"Your plan is a bit unorthodox, but from what I have seen, it will be a success as soon as everyone appears. HOWEVER, what I require of you is your neutrality in your undertaking."
"You know?" I asked, and he nodded.

"You are using this war as a pretense. The more chaos, war, and death, those of the Exsulted Wheel bring, the better your people will look. They kill, and your people may turn the other cheek to show they are no longer wild beasts, which is why I ask that you remove yourself. If you wish to make this fair, you must allow those of the Abyss to be themselves. Or." He suddenly said, narrowing his piercing eyes.
"Or?' I emphasized.
"Or you can try to fool me. Although I will warn you, the blessing I granted Arsene pales in comparison to what I can do with the Weave." He warned, stirring great fear in my heart. My fingers clenched, and I could only nod.
"Is that it?" I meekly asked, and the pressure over my heart vanished. He nodded, and I released a sigh of relief. "How is Aurelia. Last we spoke, she was pregnant."
"I sent her to the Fifth Heaven, where time runs slower compared to most other realms. She will hold out for a few cycles before the birth." he addressed bitterly, glancing up towards the skies and past these walls. "Speaking of, there was a request from Lucifer, Mephisto, and a few others on the other side. They wish for the Snow family to be restricted. It appears our bloodline is growing too powerful."
I frowned, holding onto my stomach, "What does that even mean?"
"Well, it might not apply to you, but your future kids may be forced to live and die on a mortal planet. It will be like a trial for them. If they are strong enough, they will break through the confines and walk towards the path of immortality or just reenter the wheel of reincarnation.
My lips curled into a sneer. I would be damn if I were to let that happen. "No! Why would I agree to that? I would be killing my child, my future children's child.
He softly yet coldly smiled," I'm only informing you of what was discussed. Why do you think the Lower Realm has parallel worlds? It's to keep some of these children with special bloodlines like ours from becoming too powerful. Nevertheless, I am sure that by the time we are forced to comply, It will be far off into the future. You know that balance is needed, and we are breaking that balance."
Aurelia was correct. I don't understand how he could be so calm talking about this. It's almost like he is not worried for his kids or just doesn't care. Zariel is a dick.
I drew a sharp breath and shook my head, "I will fight it. No one is taking my children away."
His smile deepened, "no one said they were going to steal or take them. Think of it as a vacation. I will not be following in Titus, my father's footsteps. Just go to the Mortal World with them. Enjoy yourself for a few Chaos Cycles. Anyway, I must go. It was good to speak with a conscious being this time around; trying to figure out what your original mind thinks or needs is a grueling task." He said, blinking from out of sight.
Arsene is going to go wild when he finds this out. It looks like there is going to be a big ass war, Heaven and Hell vs. The Abyss, once we enter the higher realms. Lucifer, Mephisto, and the Angels of Heaven are sure to oppose the Snow Family's bloodline. It looks like we will have no time to relax once we ascend.
