“You have arrived early,” said leading Grandmaster as it appeared in front of Antman. There is faint mockery in its voice which seemed to make the Antman very angry, but it had controlled the anger it moved to meet the gaze of the Horseman.
“I did not waste any time after my shift ended,” He replied.
“There is no need to go outside now; we have finished making the preparations. As soon Seca arrives, we will begin,” The Horseman said before again started fiddling with tens of artifacts which it was doing before the Antman had arrived.
I looked at the Antman carefully and sensed the aura it was released through the senses of Antman, and I have to say, this bastard feels as powerful as our data say.
I could feel the deep fear it had about the Horseman that it could barely continue the conversation without shaking with fear and hate. There is seemed to be greater history between these two than I had imagined it to be.
Like us humans, the Grimms are also sentient species capable of feeling complex emotions. The reading of its emotions I am getting is amazing, far clearer, and more complex compared to what I get from the Masters.
The thing that got me most interested in this subterranean place other than the globe of fire is the artifacts that Horseman is fiddling with.
From the limited looks I got off those artifacts as the Antman hated the Horseman so much that it did not want to even look at it unless it was necessary.
There are two artifacts in the hands of the Horseman, old looking bronze lamp and seven wooden plates that are identical to each other, and their grade seemed very high if the aura seeping out of them is any proof.
Especially from that old-looking bronze lamp, it is definitely an out of ordinary artifact. Probably on the same level as the feather, which I am constantly charging in my core; it might even higher, I couldn’t tell properly without examining it.
The chance I will get soon enough if the tidbits of conversation I heard from the other Grimms are right.
The Antman is really pitiful; despite being a Grandmaster, it is being ostracised. The other Grimms are not talking to it; they are not even looking at its direction. I did not sense any hate or anger from them for the Antman; the only reason I could think about was Horseman.
The Horseman and the Antman clearly hate each other for some reason, and these Grimms do not want to fall to the bad side of it by showing the contact with it; they are staying away as far as away from it.
Hour passed by, and I have got a clear idea about their plan, and I have to say, it is quite realistic. For a moment, I thought they were going for the globe of fire, which by even Grimms standard impossible thing to do.
Even their Grand Lords would not even think about this possibility.

It turned out this globe of fire is a lot stronger than I could imagine it to be, and the fumes that are coming out of those faint cracks are filtered by the formation of the globe. If a single strand of original fire came out, it would destroy the whole ruin.
It seemed to have happened once before, and due to it, it had turned this ruin so hot that only Grandmasters could survive inside it, and this is after thousands of years, the first had made this ruin such wasteland.
The fire coming out of the globe is hot, hot enough that even Grand Lord would not be able to bear it, but it is still not enough to turn the ruin into wasteland even after thousands of years. As every moment, ruin would fight back with the energy is sucked from the cosmos.
Every ruin is part of the world and thus has the creation element, even though that creation element is not complete as it is a broken piece of the world. It is still capable of taking its energy from outside, in the hope to become a complete world, even though it a futile.
Another forty minutes have passed, and Grimm Grandmaster called Seca had returned, and it is a Mid Grandmaster, the second seven Grimm Monsters.
“Seca, since you have returned, let’s begin!” Said the Horseman, wasting not even a moment. The werewolf.
All seven Grimm Monsters gathered together and assembled in position. The lead was taken by the Horseman behind him two Grimms of mid-Grandmaster class and behind them are four Grimms of early Grandmaster class.
Antman is standing, last in a left which is completely intentional considering the positions are dependent upon the strength, and Antman is stronger than the three early Grandmaster. It has made the Antman quite angry, but as usual, it did not show it on its face.
As they lined up in position, they took the wooden plates floating around them in their hands and placed them on their chest.
Hun!
A strange thing happened as the wooden plates have activated; these plates began to melt and spread across the bodies of Grimm Monsters and soon covered them in wooden armor, which made them look quite strange.
Between all seven of them, a link of the wooden chain has formed, which would be used to transfer the energy among them to the floating wooden stand that appeared in front of the Horseman, who is at the very front.
On the wooden stand, the Horseman had placed the old bronze land, which now I looked at clearly has twelve flame holders inside it which are empty.
“Since you all already know the plan, I will not explain further but do understand one thing.”
“A single mistake could kill us all there, so I hope nobody makes a mistake, or I will kill anyone who did if I survived,” Said the Horseman, and for the first time, its threat was not targeted at Antman but rather at everyone.
