As they shouted, they came at me, but before they could, a powerful aura blasted off from the Grandmaster Atkins, and thousands of water vines shot out of the sea, blocking them on their tracks. I couldn’t help but smile seeing that.
With Grandmaster Atkins blocking them, I would be able to deal with all of them quite easily. Though, a smart person in my place would just kill them directly instead of even thinking about harvesting them.
I could not just kill them; they are too valuable for that; the essence roses I would get from them would help us humans a lot in the war; not to mention I have to harvest the bloodline of two Grimms, it would give me a tremendous boost.
Hun!
The Grimms had just stopped and were about to deal with the thousands of sharp-ended water vines coming toward them when suddenly, a blood-freezing aura enveloped the whole battlefield; it was so powerful that I shook in my spot.
The thousands of water vines were simply frozen away before flying into the wind like dust.
I looked up and saw a Grimm Monster, which I have only seen in projection and read so much about that it that I couldn’t become even more scared; this is the bastard who four council members and Rai together couldn’t defeat.
A member of the coven, a Royal.
It is a Frost Chimpman, still a Grandmaster but has power that is above that of even councilmembers. It has a strange power; it is what separates it from regular Grandmasters and would help it to climb at the level of Grand Lords.
”You lot are really useless, even with three times more number, you could not even get an edge over it, much less defeat it.” Said the Frost Chimpman to three peak Grimm Monsters who now had expressions full of shame.
A moment later, it shifted its gaze at me, and I felt as if my very own being had been frozen that I became incapable of taking a breath.
”You, Micheal Zaar, are quite a slippery fellow; we have tried many times but never been able to nail you down, but that ends today; today, I will kill you with own hands,” It declared and top of the staff, a tiny concentrated fall of frost crystal formed.
The crystal looked quite small compared to its size, but it is the size of my palm, and now that Frost Chimpman moved its staff toward me, the crystal is directly aiming at me.
”Die Human,” It said softly, and crystal flew off from its staff, and that very same moment, it had appeared right next to my temple, just a centimeter away from piercing through my head.
The attack was powerful without a doubt but what was shocking was its speed; it was so fast that I wasn’t able to see it at all. One moment it had released from its staff and appeared right next to my temple.
I had no way to defend against it or dodge it and knew I would die unless one of the protective charms inside me activated, which is a long shot considering my power. The closer you are to the limit of the world, the more suppression these kinds of artifacts would feel.

I was unwilling to accept death, but I have made my peace with it, and I know it would be over before I even know it.
Hun!
The sharp frost crystal was about to pierce through me when I suddenly felt hot around me, and the ice crystal began to melt away till only liquid had remained, and that too soon vaporized instantly.
It had happened so fast that I did not know how it happened, though I could tell that new presence was responsible for saving me.
”Haszra, it does suit you to attack the young fell like that,” said the old man that had appeared; seeing him, my eyes couldn’t help but light up; there are extremely few humans who could fight against coven members one on one and this old is one of them.
”Saraf, you fossil, I thought you had died long ago; it seemed like you are still alive,” said Frost Chimpman relaxedly as it straightened its staff.
”How can I die without killing a few of you,” the old man replied with a grin as he took out a red butcher blade which is almost as big as him.
This old is Mac Saraf; he had been a leader of the Blood Sun about two hundred years ago and also a student of Patriarch Bradford. He had last seen in the previous war, and since then, he had totally disappeared.
From the information I have read about him, there is mention of his life and death, but most people considered him dead, but it seemed like it was not the case.
Earlier, when I have finished my seed, I have informed not only Grandmaster Atkins but also the Pyramid. I had suspected something like this might happen, and seeing it did happen, it was very wise of me to inform them.
Sup Sup Sup
”You can only dream, you bastard!” Roared Frost Chimpman and tens of thousands of Ice lances materialized, and they came at the old man and me; a third of them targeted me, which scared the hell out of me.
Both of us are Grandmasters, but the difference between our power is vast as the sea. Of these tens of thousands of icy spears, even a single one of them could end me; all my powerful defensive abilities would be useless in front of a single frost spear.
”Snort!”
While I was shit scared, the old man just snorted seeing this mighty attack, and a bloody sun appeared behind him.
”Scorching Wave!”
The old man said without moving, and a fiery wave released from the Sun behind him released the wave and clashed against the barrage of frost spears, and the mighty frost spears began to melt away.
Just like the frost crystal earlier.
