‘Good job; I will soon come and see what you have found,’ I said to Nero before turning back to the mist that nine goat heads are still spewing out at my shields, which are shaking under its pressure.
I did not do anything except for keeping an eye on the bastard, which had not moved from its spot since the battle had begun. Just like Hyenaman, it had maintained the distance, and I was sure if I had moved toward it, it would retreat.
It also had a powerful invisible cover surrounding it; if I were to describe them, then I would say they are the icy rings. There are eighteen of them, and they zip around it at an extremly fast speed, so fast that whenever my strings tried to move at its body, it would repel them.
This is the advantage of the power it has; if we are of equal strength, then my strings would have pierced through that defense.
Even now, my strings are powerful enough to hold; even if they bind 25% of it, I have confidence that I will be able to kill it, but currently, it is a great challenge.
More than one and half a minute had passed when finally, the goat heads stopped spewing the icy mist and closed their horrific mouth. I am sure these goat heads are not just for spewing icy energy; I have seen their teeth, and they would easily be able to chomp me into the pieces.
As the mist disappeared, my shields too, and now we are just staring at each other; it with its frozen expressions while I with my smile.
“So, do you have anything else?” I asked with a smile; it did not reply; it just continued looking at me before it turned and flew down toward the camp; while doing that, it increased the power and the range of defensive method, fearing I might attack them with my strings.
I watched it till it had touched down on the camp before turning back and flying away.
I really wish I could burn down the whole camp and the Grimm with it after such a disappointing battle. I wanted to have greater time fighting with my twelve arms, but the bastard only gave me one chance before launching that powerful attack against which I could only defend.
Thud!
A few minutes passed, and I landed back in the red dust hills, and a moment later, Lord Remus appeared beside me.
“It was an incredible battle, Lord Zaar,” Lord Remus, to a mirthless smile, couldn’t help but appear on my face. “What was incredible about it? I had only defended against its only one attack before I had to summon my shield and hide like a turtle,” I replied.
He smiled at that, “While killing the enemy is important, which is more important is surviving, as there will be many chances to kill the enemy in the future, while there is only one life,” said the old man, and I couldn’t help but nod at that.
“Yes, there will be a time when I will kill the bastard,” I said before walking toward the Nero. “We are not leaving?” I asked Lord Remus as she followed beside me.
“No, Nero had found something, and we are going to check it out,” I said. I had not hidden the fact that it was Nero that was helping me find the luminescence pool; I have now become powerful enough that I do not need to hide every ability of my monster.
Soon we reach a place where Nero; is quietly sitting on the stone before a tunnel, which I am sure has been created by him.

I had asked him what he had been found, but he did not tell me.
We appeared by the tunnel, Nero jumped on my shoulder, and we walked into the tunnel silently. “There is a natural tunnel a few two hundred meters down, and it is quite deep,” said Lord Remus while casting a deep look at Nero.
“Then we will see what it has,” I said without stopping. “What about our people?” He asked worriedly, “They will be fine,” I said.
He looked at me for a second before following.
Ashlyn is flying above; if any dangerous monsters attack, she will be able to handle it. She will be fine, even if Grimm attacked.
Soon, we reached the natural tunnel made of jagged stone. We did not stop and continued going down, crossing tens of meters each second.
“Are you sensing the energy?” I asked Lord Remus, “It is luminescent energy, but of different flavor compared to what is in the environment and in luminescent pools,” he said and nodded at that, as I had sensed the same things.
“It also seemed to contain inherent heaviness,” I said and increased the defenses of my armor. This energy is different but also very dangerous; I want to be as protected as possible unless we come across unforeseen.
Though I do not think we would or if we did, it would be manageable; otherwise, Nero would have informed me about it already.
Finally, we have reached the place which seemed like the end of the cavern; the energy here is exceptionally dense and heavy that it feels like we are in the high gravity environment.
The pressure of energy is fine; what concerns is the power of energy, which is really something else. “I don’t think even those newly advanced high Grandmasters would be able to bear this energy,” said Grandmaster Remus as he activated his defensive methods around him.
My armor also became thicker and bigger as I created the extra layer of armor while Nero went inside me.
He is fine, and that is why I have sent him back to the core; I do not want to reveal too much of Nero’s abilities in front of this old man, who I am sure would report everything back to the Pyramid.
“Let’s enter inside,” I said and stepped inside in what seemed like a cavern, and the things I saw inside couldn’t help but stumped me.
I saw a cavern full of rocks, rocks of all colors which are shining like a bright bulb; here it is so bright that even Grandmaster couldn’t be able to see anything other than the shining rocks; even I had to modify elements of my abilities to see beneath the light.
The shining rocks are nothing rare; the whole ruin is filled with these things; any rock of this ruin would give a shine, but all the rocks I have seen, never gave out such blinding shine, which is filled with power and heaviness.
One does not need to be a genius to know these rocks are special; my abilities have already told me that these rocks contain far denser luminescent energies than the luminescent pool and the nature of this energy is also much different than the common luminescent energy and the one that is found in pools.
I adjusted my defensive measure before walking a little inside and crouched down to pick the piece of shining rock.
Hun!
The moment I picked it up, I couldn’t help but become surprised.
