‘What a battle,’ I said as I opened my eyes and got up; I have learned a lot from this battle and would have learned even more if my clone had been able to record the battle, but unfortunately, it could not due to the law.
I shook my head, and I got up; I had already got more than I had imagined from comprehending; I should not be asking for more.
“Have you finished, or is there some more rule for you to comprehend?” asked Rhea as she appeared beside me with Lady Yui.
“I am finished,” I said before I turned to them, “Have you guys explored this place completely?” I asked. “Yes, there is a door that will take us ahead,” said Lady Yui as we walked toward the door while admiring the skeletons.
“There are more skeletons of races here than I had heard in my life,” said Rhea looking at all these skeletons.
“There are millions of races that exist across the vast universe. If you ever read, you will find that the pyramid had already compiled a list of more than five thousand races from the information they had gotten from the ruins,” I said; for that, she gave a look.
“Say, Micheal aren’t you the best at solving formations?” she asked, “I will not say best, but I am good,” I replied; I am pretty proud of my ability. Though, all the pride disappears when I think about the challenge of the Hermes library.
“So, can you break the formation covering these bones; I would really like to take some of the bones here,” she said, to which I shook my head.
“No, I could not, at least not in a short time. It is a hive-type formation. I will have to break a connection on each formation before solving the central part of it, and only then will we be able to touch the bones,” I replied.
Such formations are extremly hard to solve, and they take a lot of time, but there is an obvious flaw in them, which is that once you solve the central formation, everything will be opened; which means if I solve the central formation, the protective formation on each and every skeleton would disappear and, they will all be ripe for taking.
Considering the value of the skeleton, I would have taken risks. If not for getting a bad feeling about.
The way the skeleton is kept; one could see the pride of the collector; it wanted to shock and awe those who came inside, and such people who love their things too much kept a nasty surprise, and I don’t want to find out that is.
As I am pretty sure, it might make me lose my life.
“It’s a pity; I really wanted a few bones of diamond law,” she said with regret, and I could smile at that because I, too, wanted a few bones for myself.
“We should not feel any regret; we have already gotten a great harvest at the first hall, and I am sure we will have a great harvest as long as we are cautious with our greed,” said Lady Yui.
Soon, we reached the gate and seeing it, I couldn’t help but become stumped; before I knew it, tears welled up in my heart, seeing the door made of tiny skeletons.
These skeletons are small as my fingernails, and they belong to the same species of butterfly. Whatever the species of butterfly this is, it must be quite powerful as I could feel an extremly low fluctuation of law; each and every skeleton is letting out this fluctuation.

The crafter of these doors used these skeletons to make the door. It did not even use the script like the previous door, only skeletons and connected them through their own law power; I don’t think even people of the same level as a crafter should have such skills.
“This door also does not have the formation; should I just push it open?” asked Lady Yui, with a smile that couldn’t help but appear on my face.
“That will be a grave mistake, Lady Yui,” I said to her, and both looked at me in question. “This door does not have a formation, but it does have a quite difficult puzzle,” I said with a smile before pointing at the certain butterfly skeleton.
“I am sure you have already noticed; there are some butterflies here which have natural runes and have formed a puzzle,” I said.
“Can you solve it?” asked Rhea, “I can, though it will take some time,” I said and sat down on the ground before closing my eyes. Soon, I am in the core, and a replica of the bone door appears in front of me, and I begin.
I began to move the runes and could tell what kind of horrific power the door would release if I became wrong in solving the puzzle.
It will not be the power of the runes that will come at us but also the power of law, which could kill us before we could even put decent defenses in front of it.
It took me a little more than nine hours inside before I was able to solve the puzzle and open my eyes.
“Have you solved the formation?” asked Lady Yui; I nodded and moved to the door before she could stop me and started to move the skeletons of the butterflies, which smoothly moved.
A minute later, I finished and stepped back.
Click!
For a couple of seconds, nothing had happened before finally, all the skeletons with the natural runes lit up lightly, and a wave of residual emitted through it, which made Lady Yui step in front of me as the audible click rang through the door.
“The door is now safe to open, Lady Yui,” I said, and she nodded and pushed open the door, which made barely any sound as it opened.
The door opened completely, showing us a glimpse of what was ahead.
If we had seen the previous space and the skeleton and door, we would have been surprised to see what lay ahead, but we were not.
After seeing the first hall and door, it became clear that we are not the ground of some organization or a facility of some kind, but the abode of someone and the looking of things ahead, it seemed like that person is a great artist who worked with the bones.
It is nothing strange; we had few people across thousands of years who worked with bones. Though, they mostly worked on the bones of the monsters.
“I think it is safe to step inside,” said Lady Yui, but they looked at me. I nodded, and three of us stepped into the second half, which is much smaller than the first but still filled with thousands of things that are made of bones.
I have a special love for bone art pieces, but here each and every piece is a work of art, each invoking efferent emotions, from anger to love to frustration to calm.
In my voyages to ruins, I have seen many artistic things, but nothing could be compared to what is in front of my eyes.
