“Good job, Nero,” I said and moved from my spot; since I had decided to fight the Grimm bastard, there was no need for me to waste any time.
Though I would have very much liked to take a dip in the luminescent pool before fighting a Grimm, it is fine too. I think I am more than capable enough to fight against this Grimm and, with some luck, might even be able to kill it.
In a few minutes, I reached its range and moved slowly toward it; while my stealth method may be lacking to some degree compared to the stealth method of lady Yui, it is stronger than it in many ways.
With my stealth method, as long as I did not go too close to the Grimm, it wouldn’t be able to sense me.
I stopped and looked at the Grimm a few hundred meters away from me; through my own abilities, I could only see the faint, blurry form of it.
It did not matter; in a few seconds, there won’t be a need for the stealth method.
“Fasra, it had been a while,” I said to the Black Sharkman Fasra; hearing my voice, it immediately froze on its spot before a powerful aura shot out of its body, breaking its stealth method, and in its place was a cover of energy, a powerful measure to stop my strings.
It had grown stronger than the last time, which is not surprising; we could increse our strength in a short time, and so did the Grimms; they have more methods than us for doing that.
“Zaar,” It said, and I revealed myself. “I have to say, Fasra, you have grown strong,” I said as my sword appeared in my hand.
Snort!
“It is you who made the real progress, Zaar; from barely defending against my attacks to fighting against me without your shields,” It said, clearly reading the latest info about me.
“It is good you have appeared; there is one resource of origin I want, and your head would be sufficient for me to exchange for it,” it said, and a genuine surprise couldn’t help but appear on my face.
“I knew I had quite a bounty but still did not expect it to be a resource of origin. Those are usually reserved for Grand Lords,” I replied, feeling quite flattered honestly.
“In my personal opinion, you did not worth it, but I am glad the higher-ups are willing to pay such price, as with your head, I will be able to get it,” It said, and its aura exploded even further, stopping the monsters, who have gone too close to us.
“My my, you have quite a confidence; I want to see whether you have the strength to back that up,” I said, and dirt exploded under my feet as I moved toward it.
I could see the alarm flash in its eyes for a moment in its eyes before it had a sword, its jagged-toothed sword; with it, thousands of jagged tooth swords materialized around it.

“Stream Reapers!” It shouted, and thousands of huge jagged blades came toward me before I even crossed half a distance toward it.
It is clear that it did not want me closer to it like all the other High-Grandmasters, I have found in this ruin; they think it is the right strategy to be safe from my strings, and they are little right about that.
The distance does matter, but not as much as the Grimms think; at a distance, I have fought with them, and it is quite easy to wrap my strings around them; I just could not due to the strong protection they have around them.
This time, my strings are strong; the advancement in my rule power had made them a little stronger.
It will also help if I am able to breach its defenses with my sword, which I might be able to do with the advancement I have got, not to mention that thing I could use; unlike the Grimms I have encountered in this ruin, it is an enemy which I have fought before and held a unique advantage over it.
Thousands of jagged swords made of powerful water elemental energy appeared beside me instantly, and to face them, twelve arms with different weapons came out of my back.
Clang
The lance was the first weapon that clashed against the first jagged sword that came at me; it was bigger than the lance and contained powerful destructive energies, but my lance was destroyed; the destructive energy it contained came at me, but my armor instantly dealt with it.
Unlike the first-time enemies, I have a sample of its energies which I have fused with my armor, which made it much easier for my armor to destroy and absorb the energies.
If my enemies want to kill me, especially those who are fighting against me for the first time, they shouldn’t tarry with regular attacks; they should directly accumulate all their power and launch the most powerful attack at me the first time.
In this way, they will have the greatest chance of killing me, but I am not going to tell them that.
Let them fight the conventional way, which gives me a much greater chance of killing them.

After the first clash, the other weapons clashed against the thousands of huge jagged blades at extremly fast speed, so much that even most High-Grandmasters would find hard to follow.
Even I am having a hard time believing how easily I am defending against such a powerful attack, which before would have forced me to harness every ounce of power, I had in my body; now, it is quite relaxing.
Still, I did not get this ease to get into my head and remained cautious; this is not an enemy you take lightly; this bastard had even been able to run away from Lady Vivian once.
So, it would be better that I remained cautious and careful of its every move if I wanted to kill this bastard.
