It is the Bearman; the bastard did not even take even a second to recognize me the moment I revealed my shields.
Its aura is now completely on me, and so are its eyes. I feel as if a colossal mountain is pressing down on me, and regretfully, things are worse than that.
There is at least a chance to survive if the colossal mountain is pressing down on me, but here, there is almost none.
In front of such might, I could do nothing; all my methods and tricks were useless as it would be able to crush through them with sheer might. Still, like a butterfly in a storm, I will try to survive with my all; I am not going to hand myself to this bastard, no matter how bleak my chances are.
“Aege,” I said in a casual voice as possible as the mountainous pressure bore down me. “It is Grand Lord Aege, Zaar,” it replied with a spark of anger lightning in its eyes for a moment for the disrespect.
“What, are you going to me kill me for the disrespect?” I asked with a hint of a dare in my voice. “Hehe, you are going to die alright, but it will not be an easy death as you are expecting.” It said.
“You have killed a lot of our people; I don’t think anyone had killed as much as our powerhouses as you have, and for it, you are going to pay,” it added with a cruel laugh covering his mouth.
“I am waiting,” I replied.
Immediately, I felt the aura getting heavier; it became so powerful that I had nearly hunched in my place before stabilizing myself.
For a second, it just looked before twitching its giant stubby fingers from which I think violet bloodline energy had come out.
“I have heard so many things about your famed shields; let’s see how it could hold against this little attack of mine,”
“Nine Spheres of Ydres,” it said, and the violet energy quickly transformed into the huge nine balls; each ball was three times the size of my head and had rippling patterns across their surface.
“First,”
It said, and immediately, the first violet ball came at me. Its speed is not fast, much slower than the needle earlier, but the power it held is shocking that even someone as powerful as Krah, the Blizzard Werewolf, would get crushed to death by it.
BANNNG!
The ball of violet energy crashed against my shields; I felt a huge shock and staggered back. I could feel my internal getting damaged by the shock of the attack, but I did not care for it.
The ball of violet energy had not disappeared after the crash but dissolved into energy and seeped into my shields, wanting to break them from the inside.
My shields have lighted up like a sun, and numerous formations activated as they dealt with the powerful bloodline energy of Grand Lord, which seemed to bear a great hunger and wanted to consume everything. If my shields had been a common defensive method, they would have disappeared in an instant.
“Not even a scratch; I am impressed,” said the Bearman.

This time, there is no anger in its eyes, instead mirth. As if it is looking at castle of sand made by the child and pressing a finger against it, there is no doubt it could destroy the castle easily; it is just looking at much force it would need for its own amusement.
“Let’s see whether this second ball could do anything to your shields,” it said and sent the second ball, which also came with the same speed as the first ball.
If I were simpleton, I would have felt relieved seeing that, but I am not, and my methods see everything behind the façade of the attack, and it scared the shit out of me because this attack is far more powerful than the attack before.
BANNNG!
The ball of violet energy crashed against my shields, and the sound produced was much louder than before.
Puh!
I vomited the blood as I staggered; the physical injuries did not give me as much pain as I felt when I saw the first crack appears, and that was just a starting; as the ball dissolved and energies drilled into my shield, the cracks began to spread rapidly.
This is the power of the Grand Lord; a High-Grandmaster would not be able to damage my shields to such a degree, especially after the boosts I have got.
It is very hard to do, but it is not much of a challenge to a Grand Lord; they represent the apex power, and everything below them is ants, bearing a challenge small as it could be considered an honor, but the honor does not save lives.
It did not take long for the cracks to cover a quarter of the shields, and they are spreading even faster than before.
Seeing my expressions, the smile on the Grimms face became even brighter; I am a prize, and killing me would receive an honor. It is not the first time I have been attacked by a Grand Lord, but the Bearman, who will have the honor of killing me.
The Bearman is barely able to keep the happiness inside its heart as it was able to accomplish a thing that its senior failed to achieve.
The cracks crossed 50% and still spreading across the shields; they are like tides, crushing everything in their paths as they spread. I have activated the final burst, but as I had expected, it is barely able to affect the spread of the cracks.
By the end of the ninth second, the cracks have stopped spreading, but by that time, they have covered 93% of my shields.
“Your shields are really good, as they say, Zaar; I did not think I would have been able to make a single crack on them if I had used everything bit of power I have when I was a High-Grandmaster,” it said as the third ball moved forward.
“Unfortunately, I am not a High-Grandmaster anymore, but a mighty Grand Lord,” it said, saying the last word a little too loudly as it sent the third ball of energy at me.
‘Forth Burst!’ I did not hold back and nor I hid as I burned my essence.
The power I had never felt before bursting out of my body; it was so great that even I have got surprised by it, and if I had been looking at Grimm, I would have seen a look of surprise flashing into its eyes too, which made it increase the power of attack, that I immediately noticed.
Still, the surprise of the power inside me did not disappear; it is truly too huge.
It is the first time I have burned the essence since I have reached the complete limit, and I think I now have a power that is extremely close to the Grand Lord, but it is still not the power of the Grand Lords and would not help me survive it.
If it had been slightly more, above that invisible limit, I might have been able to do something, but now, I could do nothing.
