“It had not been even a minute since the battle had begun, and one of yours had already died,” said Rhaek as it looked at frail human women.
Throughout the centuries, she was the only person who could contend against it.
“It is war, Rhaek people will die; even I might die,” she replied without any hint of emotions.
“You are right about you; you will die, and so are the rest of humans, Grand Lords,” replied Rhaek without any hurry to attack.
While it may seem relaxed, he is a little angry; it had thought, with their huge numbers and seven blood videttes, they would be able to kill five human Grand Lords by the end of the minutes.
The old ones seemed to be hiding their powers, seeing how they were dealing with the blood videttes.
What shocked him was the new humans, those three, who should have been killed with a single strike of vidette but fighting against them head-on.
For a moment, he thought of sending two blood videttes behind him but threw that thought away the next moment.
He needed those two; they would be good shields against any suicide attacks or powerful artifacts.
While a human may defend now, we hold the advantage; they will die. Their death might take an hour and an hour more, but they will all die.
…
“Who would have thought you would have such power,” said Blood Vidette Werewolf, as it defended against sharp icy blades coming at it with its bare hands.
“You, Grimms were not the only one who has prepared for this battle,” she said once again, attacking the Blood Vidette Werewolf with another flurry of icy blades as it tried to close the distance between them.

“You have grown stronger since the last time we fought,” she said as she continued with the storm of attacks at the human.
Last time, the human needed to be rescued; if it had a few more seconds, it would have definitely been able to kill him.
“You have not done too bad yourself,” replied Elder Lord with a consistent voice, but inside he was shocked.
The Grimm had improved; if it had such power last time, he wouldn’t be able to survive before the rescue arrived.
This makes things quite complicated and far more dangerous; as now he wouldn’t be able to rescue others after killing, he will need to worry about his own life, and this Foxwomen, really have the power to kill him.
Hun!
He was moving to defend against another attack when suddenly his expression changed, as another human Grand Lord had died.

“Ahhhhh…..”
I screamed loudly as the fire began to burn me from inside and outside.
The pain I was feeling was so much that it threatened to drown me with and break my mind. I am barely resisting it, but this, too, is bringing me closer to unconsciousness.

Both of the options, I could not choose as they would be in a death of me and take me to that is something similar.
Not even a minute had passed since the method had begun, and I was already in such a bad state; I wondered how I would be ten minutes later.
The only thing that is making me happy right now is how fast the above-the-limit substance is melting and excreting out of my body, where it will be burned to ashes by the abyssal fire that is covering me from the outside.
Though, it is not the purpose of the method.
This method is one dangerous cleansing method; it is not cleaning on the surface, but what is inside, and that is what makes it so dangerous and how so many people have been burned to ashes by it.
My body and soul energy are clean, but as this method begins to work its magic, it begins to get even cleaner.
Most important for me, it is wiping out all traces of Grimm inside me
While my body and soul merged with purified substances, there are some extremely faint traces have left behind. Those traces are invisible, or someone with my set of abilities could see them, but this method is wiping them too.
If I survived this method, then even I wouldn’t be able to find the traces of Grimm’s energy on me.
It couldn’t help but make me happy.
A few minutes passed, and the fire became even hotter, giving me even greater pain. The mold covering me started to go red, and through it, specks of abyssal fire and smoke of essences entered my body.
It feels like I am going through some kind of archaic religious ritual which is cleansing me of my deepest.
It would have been great if I had not gone through it if the Grimm had attacked ten days later. I would finish with the substance with much less pain.
Hun!
I was burning through pain when another familiar ring rang through the hall. It was so loud that even through the pain, I was able to hear it, and it did not make me happy at all; instead, I felt sad as another human died.
It is the third human had died, while only one Grimm has been killed.
Before activating the method, I set up a ring of two types, one for human death and one for Grimm.
As with this method, I could not use any kind of soul sense, and I needed something to keep eye on things going on outside, and just as expected, it was bad and going to get worse.
Killing more humans frees up more Grimm, who would join another battle against the humans.
If they kill a sufficient number of them, then they will be able to kill us through sheer numbers.
We could not let that happen; we have to kill the Grimms; if not kill them, staff them. We have used that strategy many times, and it has helped us in many tricky situations.
Though, this time it will be hard; the Grimms seemed to be completely prepared. Their numbers are huge, and those blood videttes will not be easy to deal with.
I have done everything I could; I helped Rai, Lady Vivian, and Supreme Commander to level to Grand Lord past week, taking their strength very close to the Matron Mavis.
I had also been helping the old Grand Lords, but these are not enough to deal with a number of Grand Lords out there, especially videttes. They would be extremely hard to deal with if past videttes were any example to go by.
I wish I could join the battle; I might have been able to do something, kill a few Grimms, of I am quite confident in doing.
I curse that bastard old snake who put me in this condition; not only had the bastard lost its life in the most painful way, but it left me with its substance.
Which is not its fault when I think about it, as it is me who summoned the white fire, but my angry mind did not want to listen.
I just needed an outlet to let out my anger from this powerlessness, and the dead enemy seemed like a good target as any.
