“Burn, Zaar,” it said and covered me with lava and fire; immediately, I greeted my teeth as they began to burn me.
It really is painful; I could not see the difference between it and real fire; it is burning me like a real fire, without any difference.
“How is it, Zaar? Do you like the fire?” it asked with a big smile appearing on its face.
“It is good, but if you want to torture me, then bring out something equivalent to the abyssal fire; otherwise, it will be just discomfort for me and nothing more,” I replied, and that hateful smile on its face froze for a moment.
“So arrogant; I will see; if you remain as such, you start to bath in lava and fire,” it said, and the lava from the lake flew up, and even thicker fire came at me.
Soon, both of them have submerged me, covering every part of me.
I began to burn, and it was painful, so painful that I wanted to scream, but I controlled myself.
This illusion is too powerful; if it had been used against the Grand Lords, I don’t think many of them would have survived. It had kept this as a secret to deal with again, Rhaek, and for it, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to the old bastard.

I was burning in a fire when I finally received the real injury. The Pigeonman blood vidette had finally been able to land a strike on me.
I was able to move away on time, that its feathery blade had only nicked me, but that nick had left a pretty huge gaping hole in my stomach with energies that wanted to swallow it all.
Still, it was stopped in my tracks by my rule; it rapidly weakened its power, and soon, the boost still flowing through my runes began to heal injuries with my own healing injuries.
The boost is nearly empty; it will last for another minutes before it ends. It gave me a huge boost and confidence, and I will kill them.
“Now, are you feeling pain?” It asked as it covered me in a fire and lava. “It is painful, but as I had said, you will have to bring out something at the level of abyssal fire to shake my heart truly,” I said with a laugh.
“I want to see how long you can continue, laughing,” it said, and the fire and lava around me became even denser that they began to burn my flesh till the bones could be seen from it.
It is a horrific experience and sight that will break anyone psychologically, but I held on.
As this is not the only fight I am fighting, outside this illusion is a main battle, which I am barely surviving with constant attacks of it and its copies and also of the three blood videttes.
It is hard to manage both things together, but there is not really a choice.
It is Grand Art is I am dealing with, and trying different methods to deal with it, but nothing seems to be working for me to get out of this illusion.
Still, I am trying; there are thousands of ways, and I am sure some of them will work, or I will have to survive till it has lost its energy.
It is using very powerful moves on me; it is attacking me with hundreds of copies and also puts me in an illusion, which is likely to consume more of its energy.
It had already been more than minutes since it was doing that; it was supposed to limit, which obviously was a lie; like everybody else, it was also hiding its power, but even if it was hiding, there was a limit to it.
It will not be able to continue forever.

There is also another way, which is to kill it directly, which is easier said than done but felt like the easiest of all three ways.
Hun!
I was just thinking that when another attack struck me, making an even bigger hole in my body, and this time, there was no strengthening essence; it had been fully absorbed a few seconds ago.
Still, my methods are weaker; once again, the rule of Mortality covered the wound before healing power rushed into it.
My rules have merged, and representation has disappeared from my core, but their power did not. I could access it through the rule of Mortality, which it is made of, and now its power is much stronger than before.
So, I mixed the healing attribute of the Mortality, and my wounds began to heal, pushing even above the limit substance back before containing it in my armor.
The rule of Mortality is complex; it could do things that not any rule of three grades is capable of.
I wish I had at least a day with it without any disturbance; I am sure it would have brough a huge change.
It had already brought a huge change, and everything went all right; then, it would help me kill these bastards.
“Stop struggling, Zaar, accept the embrace of death; it will relieve every pain you are feeling,” it said with a voice that was able to sway even my heart; I nearly took action before stopping.
“If you like the death so much, you are welcome to join it; I will even lend you a hand,” I said, and I could her eyes raging in anger.
This time she did not speak; instead, she materialized even greater fire and lava around me till it formed a huge thick sphere, with me as its center.
There was not much change in the pain; it had reached its limit. It could not make the flames even hotter, as I had, even Grand Art had limits.
Its comprehension is not high enough to produce flames that could break my mind.
I have read about this art of Shael; it is extremely powerful; at one stage, it could make even an illusion a reality.
Shael will have to leave the world if it wants to achieve that, and it is not even powerful enough to do that.
I bear it all while my clone saves me from the worse. I am getting injured now and then, but those injuries are not enough to kill me, especially with the new rule power I have.
Chew!
Another minute had passed when a chirp rang out through the battlefield, and Ashlyn came out with Nero.
Their appearance surprised them, a couple of copies and one Blood Vidette have chased after them, but they easily evaded and disappeared through the space.
I could have asked for their help, and they would have made defending against these bastards quite easy, but I did not.
They have an important thing to do other than save the lives of humans. Some of them are barely handling, and if they do not receive help, soon, they will die.
One Grand Lord had already died, and I could not afford to lose anymore; we needed all our numbers to deal with these bastards.
“Your monsters are quite powerful; you should have asked to stay. They would have helped you to live a little longer,” said Shael from its throne.
“There is no need; I am alone is more than enough to bury you in the ground,” I said, and once again, it brough more lava and fire at me, but it did not change anything.
