Vines thicker than a soda can wrapped around my arm, reaching for the 300L water jug balanced on my palm. I swatted it, and the green limb shied away. Fitting the mouth of the water jug over the lip of its tripod was hard enough without the produce squirming for it. Sometimes they were more like dogs than blueberry bushes, tomato vines, or peach trees. The corn and carrots seemed a little smarter they waited patiently for their morning water.

300L sounded like a lot, but I had a couple fields from my qi control and qi gardening training. So after plowing a field and shattering the rocks under the soil, I had to plant. With all the produce, I had more than I could ever eat alone. Fortunately, Moka liked tomato juice, and Tsukune was a glutton as always. Mizore even picked a few blueberries on occasion.

Moka was already on campus. I planned to meet up with her before class. She was rather insistent that we hold hands as much as possible, and I enjoyed it. Her hands were soft and held within them a dark power waiting to be unleashed. After every spar, that power seemed to grow a darker, and her kicks hit a little harder. It was exciting and filled me with anticipation for our next spar.

The water jug slid into place, and water flowed out between multiple hole-covered pipes to distribute the water equally. The 300L wouldn’t run out until the next morning. The crows, bugs, and occasional student pets made up the rest of their diet in this cloudy place. Of course, the qi-rich water helped them a lot. Beneath the soil, worms, ants, and spiders crawled through numerous tunnels lending my qi to the soil. They, too, changed as they lived, bred, and consumed.

A disturbance knocked me out of my relaxed train of thought. “No, get off of me!” A girl said near the grapes. I ran over quickly to see a blue-haired short stack trying to push away the grape vines. She wasn’t very successful.

I walked over and slapped the vines. They froze before withdrawing.

The short girl with the large titties fell over dramatically and turned her face away. I didn’t know if she was embarrassed about getting caught trying to steal my grapes or prepared an ambush.

“Please help me. I feel faint.” The girl said.

I plucked a few grapes off a vine and tossed them in my mouth. Each was a burst of flavor and added a tiny drop of qi to my reserves. It wasn’t enough to make much of a difference by itself, but it would matter in a large enough amount.

One of the grape vines burrowed into the ground and pulled a rabbit with a horn on its head free. The plant snapped the rabbit’s neck before numerous roots lurched out and dug into the corpse. I tossed another grape in my mouth and enjoyed the sweet flavor.

I stared down at the girl and didn’t move to help her. Finally, she turned and looked up at me with an irritated expression on her face.

“Sorry, the caring twin is named Tsukune. I’m Arakan, and one girlfriend is enough for me.”

The girl’s lips quivered. “But I need help. I suddenly felt ill, and the monster attacked me.”

I sensed my brother and turned around. “Hey, are you here to get breakfast?”

“Yea, but is she ok?”

“Could you help me get to the infirmary? My name’s Kurumu Kurono; what’s yours?” The girl asked.

Tsukune bowed in a show of introduction. “Tsukune Aono, and you already know my brother Arakan. I can get food later; the garden isn’t going anywhere. Let’s get you to the infirmary.”

I thought about saying something but decided not to. Whatever Kurumu was, Tsukune deserved the trouble, and if she tried anything, Mizore would start a fight. For such a cool girl, she had zero chill with other women muscling in on her relationship. I tossed another grape in my mouth and left my garden.

After only taking a few steps, I froze when I sensed a barely contained dark presence. Out of nowhere, a man in priestly garb stepped into the clearing. He looked over my garden before looking at me.

“You are quite the enigma, and there aren’t many in this world who surprise me anymore. There is no youki within you, but you have all the battle ferocity of a vampire. Sparing with one like Moka isn’t possible for a normal human, but your brother is different as well. Were you an experiment orchestrated by the human government?”

“No, I’m merely superhuman. By the lack of fires, screaming, and alarms, it's safe to say you’re the headmaster to this place, a dark lord.”

“We don’t use that title anymore after the second world war and then that nastiness in Britain. It has been conflated with the dark wizards of the hidden magical societies. We prefer Dark Governors now.” I blinked at that, then blinked again. This guy was funny. He also sent a chill up my spine. He wasn’t that strong, but looks could be deceiving, and he might be able to hide his power.

Just comparing him to Moka put me in doubt. His youki felt calm like Moka’s when she was sealed. But, even in his sealed state, this dark governor felt only a little weaker than inner Moka. The thought of that sent a jolt of excitement through my system. A fight against him might be fun.

“I want to see what you got, headmaster. Who knows, maybe a fight will answer your questions? I said and moved into a fighting stance.

The man laughed. “You do act like a vampire. Even when you know you’re outmatched, you still want to fight to prove it. But I have a better idea. I want you to do me a favor. It will be challenging for someone of your power, but I think you can overcome it.”

I sighed and relaxed. Did he have to ruin my fun so quickly? Well, I was almost too late to meet up with Moka before school. There really wasn’t any time to play around.

“I’m willing to give you special privileges if you take down some troublesome elements for me. One goes by the name of Kuyo, the head of the public safety committee.”

“Then I want a personal gym with even heavier weights than what’s available in the school gym.” The headmaster opened his mouth and then closed it before cackling.

“Do you even care about what kind of monster Kuyo is?”

“I’ll crush him either way. Do I have a deadline, and does he need to survive?” I asked.

“I think Issa is going to like you. Don’t mess things up with his daughter. I’m rooting for you.” The headmaster said with a smile before vanishing in a flash of speed.

“Dead then,” I said.

After a quick jog back to campus, I found Moka. “Were you waiting on me long?”

“Yep, but don’t worry, people were too distracted to stare at me. Tsukune returned to campus with a succubus on his arm, and Mizore flipped. I think they’re still fighting.” I heard a crash and pulled Moka away before a ton of stone slammed where she had stood. Tsukune stood on the roof, blocking Kurumu’s strike with one hand and shattering Mizore’s ice with his other. A white aura slowly grew around his body. That shouldn’t have been sustainable at his current level.

I sensed some fluctuations in his qi. One moment it was pitifully low the next, it was even higher than mine. That wasn’t a good thing. A calm mind was needed to get the most out of qi, or else burnout was inevitable.

“Enough, the two of you are destroying the school. Mizore, you know I would never leave you and Kurumu. I understand that you think I’m your destined one. We don’t have to fight; we can talk it out. Let’s try sitting in a room together and go from there; what do you say?”

“He smells more like a dragon than ever; it's gross,” Moka whispered. “Also, I’m hungry but can’t think about eating with that smell. Let’s get out of here and find somewhere secluded.

“No, I want my destined one to myself,” Kurumu said.

She flapped her bat wings and went in for an attack. Mizore lifted her hands, and ice kunai fired rapidly from her palms. One of the girls in the crowd popped her head off, and a trail of guts followed behind it.

“Oh wow, he’s so hot; I want to wrap him in my guts and never let him go. Do you think he has a vore fetish?”

That was the last straw for me. I turned to Moka. “Let’s go; you need breakfast.”

Inner Moka spoke up. “You better not think of doing something so foolish. A harem, the very idea that I would share you with another woman without my approval is absurd. ” Inner Moka said.

“I don’t know sharing is caring.” Outer Moka said.

Inner snorted. “Fortunately, that’s not a problem we have to deal with. Now let’s get our breakfast. It’s been too long since we fed.” Moka said.

I fed her last night after our spar. After giving it, some thought, Moka really couldn’t get enough of me. I would be flattered if I wasn’t worried about her developing an addiction.

Once we were in a secluded spot, I bent down and kissed her. Her eyes widened in shock. “You are enough for me,” I said, and she bit into my neck with absolute enthusiasm. It was a good thing I didn’t choose that moment to tell her about my extra job.

More girls would come later.
