Chapter-1

" Hmm. I think this much is enough. " A boy said as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. He had tied up his hair in a small ponytail with a few bangs framing his face. If one looks near his ears, one can see four piercings in each ear. 

" I think eight suppressors are enough to seal my magic power from leaking. I don't think I will need another one on my lips like the one this body had in anime." He mumbled.

The boy was Izumi Miyamura (the first name 'Izumi' and last name 'Miyamura'). He is of average height and he has a slim figure with pale skin. He is noted to be quite handsome with long lashes. He also has deep blue eyes.

While looking in the mirror he checked the tattoos he had on his left shoulder, upper left arm, and side.

" Yup. I knew this formation was best for sealing my physical power." He said quietly as he checked if there were any flaws in them or not. 

Yes, this is the same Izumi Miyamura who is the main character of the anime Horimiya. A famous anime for its slice of life and romance genre. But that is not the crucial factor. 

Before he was born in this world as Izumi, he was once just a normal salary worker in a different and normal world in his first life. He had gone by the name Rey. He had worked like a slave till his thirties. He had an average childhood and life. 

But at the age of thirty, he realized that he should enjoy his life the most till he is alive. So he left that job and started to do different jobs which he wanted. He went from delivery man to an author, then from a programmer at a small company to a worker at the grocery store. He made a lot of friends and traveled to a lot of places once a month. 

Even though he didn't find someone to call his lover, he didn't remain a virgin his whole life. He even helped a lot of elderly people and orphaned children in his free time. But like every good story, his story also came to an end. He died due to narcolepsy.

But what happened next was absurd and questionable. He met a God. Not just any random god. He met the God of Creation.

*Flashback*

" So, you mean to say that nobody can lie here, even you can't lie here? Give me proof." Rey asked the God who was in front of him sitting on a chair, while a table was in between them.

The God of Creation, who was sitting in front of him, who had only a blank white face and nothing else, nodded his head and spoke, " This room is known as the Room of Truth and Souls, where a mortal is chosen by this room to complete a God's task. Nobody knew who created this room, but it can be said to be the most ancient thing that ever existed. So, yes I can only speak the truth here and nothing else and it also goes the same for you. If you want proof, you can ask me any questions, and I will answer you truthfully."  

So Rey asked the question which remained unanswered on Earth and many people hoped to find the answer to that question.

" What is your sexuality?" 

Silence ensued in the white room, as suddenly the god started to laugh.  

" Hahaha. I never laughed like this for thousands of years. And the answer to your question, I'm straight or you can say I'm only interested in tsundere women." God answered.

Rey didn't know what to do, so he asked the next question, " Can you read my mind?" 

" No, I can't because all my powers get sealed when I enter this room. Like, this room prohibits fighting. " He replied.

Having someone reading his inner thoughts makes Rey a little uncomfortable, so he relaxed when he knew he was safe here. Then he asked the question whose answer he wanted to know from the moment he knew he was dead.

" Is Multiverse true? I mean, are there worlds of anime, manga, and novels?"

Even though Rey couldn't see God's face, he can say with guarantee that he saw a smirk forming on God's face.

" Yes, the multiverse is true. And there are worlds representing many anime, manga, and novels, but there is not one world of that type. Like if there is an ABC anime as a world somewhere in the multiverse, it will have thousands of variations where different scenarios happen, for example in one world you can find the main character as a female instead of a male or the main female and male characters don't love each other or sometimes even the character or plot of different anime mashup to form a different world. So I have advice for you, never always depend on knowledge of anime and others, be flexible, and adapt to any situation. "

The explanation given by the god patiently, made Rey realize that not everything will go according to the script in anime and novels.

So he continued to ask questions.

" Are there other gods? If yes then where are they?" 

This time the god sighed and said in a bitter tone, " I was chosen as the God of will watch over this multiverse because I was weak. The remaining all went outside this multiverse to travel to places which are unknown to everyone." 

Rey had asked this question to satisfy his curiosity and now he got the answer, he asked the main purpose, why he was called here.

" I can't interfere in worlds, but I can choose souls to reincarnate in those chosen worlds to do my task. I will reincarnate in a world that was one of my first creations. I want you to bring peace between all the races in that world." God said.

This made him realize that the room chose him as the most suitable person to complete this task, but….

" Why should I do your task? I mean, what will I benefit from all of this?"

God paused for a few moments and said, " I can complete any of your one wish which is equivalent to how much the task is completed. That means you can't ask for any omnipotent or any godly things like mastery over laws and everything. Wish for something which can be obtained. " 

Hearing God's sincere advice Rey remained silent for a whole hour. After going through many debates about all the pros and cons, he asked his wish." I want a gift that allows me to travel through the multiverse safely, helps me to become strong, and doesn't harm me or any people near me. " 

God remained silent after hearing the wish. He rubbed his white forehead in stress and said," The wish is possible but you have to complete the task. Deal?"

Rey excitedly nodded his head. It was every reader's dream to live and travel their favourite worlds. But Rey also knew that his wish had a lot of loopholes but he is satisfied with how much he wished. He knows when to back down and when to grab an opportunity that falls in his lap. 

After discussing for more than a few hours all the minor details of the deal, both of them agreed to the drafted contract.

Like that he was reincarnated as a baby in the world of Aeaea, a world filled with magic, sword, different races and kingdoms. Like that, Rey's second life began as Ray Hope who was famously known as the Hero who remained uncommitted in the future.

Ray was born as an orphan during the war period of the world. He had to struggle a lot from the lowest step of the ladder of the world to reach the highest step. He had faced a lot of death, betrayal, and politics in his early years of life which made it very hard to trust someone else. 

He could only count the number of true friends he had in his fingers by the time he became twenty years old. But this didn't stop Ray from enjoying his life. He founded his own food company which introduced the cuisines from the Earth. He saw and learned a lot of things just by watching the daily life of common people or by living a plain life. 

He achieved his goal of bringing peace when he became 40. To complete his goal he did and achieved a lot of things. He had great mastery over Magic Spells and Formations, he was also skilled at many weapons like sword, spear, bow, dagger, and many more. He also got a soul/spirit bonded to an ancient dragon who was not native to the world of Aeaea. He named her Tia. 

After completing the task and being ready to leave for that world, he was once again summoned to the Room of Truth and Soul, where he experienced how he couldn't use any 

of his skills or abilities. 

" Don't worry you will just feel a little uncomfortable at the start. Now I realize that I never mentioned my name right? You can call me Jerome." Jerome the god said happily. 

Of course, how could Jerome not be happy? The world of Aeaea could also be said like his home world from where he reached his godly ranks. Even though he couldn't interfere in that world, he was able to observe all the decisions and efforts done by Ray to complete the task. This increased the place of Ray in Jerome's mind. 

" So Jerome, how is my wish going to be completed?" Ray asked excitedly. Even though it had been 40 years since they had last talked, Ray never forgot a word of their talk in his mind. Like in the past Ray still holds the same enthusiasm to obtain the wish for which he had endured so much.

" You will obtain your wish when you start your new life in another world. And as a parting gift, I will make you reborn in an anime world. I feel that you will be satisfied with how your wish is going to be completed. "

Like that Ray got reincarnated in the world of Horimiya reborn as Izumi Miyamura.
