"Disappointing." Angelica calmed the surrounding aura, finally letting the five of them sigh in relief, with Draco being no exception. He fell against his butt, massaging the places where he had been struck.

Angelica's training, in short, was much more intense than predicted. As they came in, she just said to attack her however they wanted. Perhaps it was because they still had no chemistry between them, they were defeated like some amateurs.

Even then, Angelica didn't stop and beat everyone up for good. Even Sarah's usually cold expression frowned for once at the pain. Though, Draco could finally evaluate how huge of a gap was his strength compared to Angelica's, and it motivated him to get stronger even more.

"You aren't bad individually, but together you are a mess." Angelica sighed, cracking her fingers slightly as everyone's eyes shook. "You need to work on your chemistry."

"Monster..." Xander whispered to himself, seeing a fist mark on his stomach.

There was an awkward silence in the air before Angelica eventually asked, a few veins popping on her forehead. "Did you say something, Xander?"

Understanding his slip of a tongue, his eyes shook for a moment as he suddenly stood up. "I completely forgot that I needed to help my father with some business. Excuse me."

"Hmm...why would your father need help from someone as weak as you?" Angelica clasped her hands together as Xander took a step back. "Alright, alright. I am just joking. This is it for today. Everyone can leave."

Xander was the first one to sprint away from the training ground, followed by Sarah, who calmly walked away despite the throbbing of her injuries. Draco was about to stand back up from the ground when he heard Angelica talk again.

"Draco, stay here."

Jaime and Cassie, who were also preparing to leave, glanced at Draco with pitying eyes. Jaime even went as far as to mouth out: 'We hope we will see you again.'

"Bastard." Draco sighed, seeing them leave as the doors into the training ground closed, leaving only the two of them together.

"Don't worry, I will not beat you up anymore." Angelica walked up to Draco.

"Miss...so you admit that you were just beating us up for your own satisfaction?" Draco teased her a little and understood that it was a mistake, feeling two cold on his back. "Miss Angelica, you aren't going to kill me, right?"

"Shut it, kid," Angelica answered as Draco suddenly felt mana rushing through his veins. "Channel your mana how you usually do it when training."

Draco promptly understood that she was just going to give him some more pointers and sat in a lotus position. He then channeled it, trying to reach the deepest part of his body.

"I see, it does make sense." Angelica sighed vividly, altering the way Draco was channeling his mana. "You have been always channeling your mana wrongly since it seems that no one has ever taught you."

Draco nodded, concentrating on remembering everything Angelica taught him. It was the truth since even in his past life, he always channeled the mana on his own accord.

As Draco channeled the mana along with Angelica's, he suddenly felt like a tsunami was arising within his body, as if some kind of shell was breaking apart. Understanding what was happening, Angelica removed her hands and let Draco concentrate.

His entire body dimmed in grey color as his slow breath escaped from his mouth. Soon, barely a few minutes later, Draco stood up from the spot and bowed slightly to Angelica. "Thank you for your pointers, Miss Angelica. I have broken through."

"Draco... weren't you [G-] ranked when you first came to this school?" Angelica asked, her eyebrows knit.

Draco nodded.

"I see... well, I showed you everything that I wanted to," Angelica said. " You can go now."

Draco bowed once again before beginning to walk away, a subtle smile on his face. This was precisely why he decided not to drop out immediately, since receiving direct training from Angelica was an invaluable time. It was just the first training day, yet Draco already broke through to [F-] rank.

As Draco made his way out of the training grounds, Angelica stared at his back with furrowed eyebrows. 'His talent is definitely not [C]... I really can't figure you out, Draco.'

Unknown to Draco, Angelica started to get more and more interested in him.

The sky was filled in cerulean color as lightning shook the entire sky. Despite this dangerous weather, two people were sitting and calmly having their dinner as they conversed with each other.

"You have disappointed me, Mark." Sitting on the other side of the long table, Mark's father looked at his son with solemnity. "I would understand if you lost against those four, but an orphan? You have disgraced our guild and family."

"I understand," Mark answered, keeping his head low as he stared at his own hands.

"Now, all my plans have been ruined because of you." Mark's father's voice grew quiet, while the aura around him turned heavy. "If you managed to win the Martial Tournament, our guild would definitely become Diamond ranked. But now, it all backfired because you lost to a fucking orphan."

"I understand..." Mark whispered.

"No! You understand nothing!" Mark's father shouted, ripping away the cloth on the table as all the dished hit the ground. "I have poured so many resources into you and now that you didn't even qualify into the top five, I am losing my reputation in the guild!"

"I am sorry, father," Mark answered, his entire body trembling because of his father's pressure.

"Get out of my sight before I lose myself." Mark's father calmed the aura around him a bit, his eyes filled with killing intent. Not daring to stay in the room any longer, Mark sprinted into the hall as his dad's aura turned even more intense.

It had been long since he saw his father in this kind of state; it was better to leave him alone for now. Still keeping his head low, Mark returned to his room and leaned against the wall, sliding until his butt hit the ground.

Then he started to sob quietly, not able to keep his emotions away anymore. Everything was going so perfectly till now, yet one day changed his life all around. And all because... Mark remembered those emotionless eyes staring at him from above like he was some kind of ant.

'That's right... if not because of him...' Mark's eyes suddenly turned dangerous as killing intent escaped from his body. He gnashed his hand together so hard that his nails penetrated into his skin, yet he didn't care anymore.

Revenge... he needed to have his revenge.

But how? Despite being emotional, Mark very well understood that he was no match for Draco, especially now that he began his private training with Angelica.

As Mark was deep in his thoughts, he suddenly heard something falling onto the ground, causing him to immediately stand back to his feet. Looking into the shadows of his room, Mark felt like he was staring at some entity. "Who is there?"

To his response, Mark saw two white eyes appear in the darkness as they stared at him. Unconsciously, Mark took a step back, feeling sweat forming on his forehead.

Then Mark saw the entity opening its mouth.

"Do you want revenge?"
