The darkness of my underground prison had become my only companion, and the isolation had worn away at my emotions. I had become numb to the world around me, my senses dulled by the endless darkness.

My cringy thoughts suddenly were broken when my wrist suddenly tingled with pain.

I looked down in surprise, and saw a faint outline of a small centipede biting my wrist. The centipede was thin and its skin was rough. It soon wrapped its entire body around my wrist, its tight bite causing me to feel a wave of pain. I could see the centipede's venom glowing as it clung to my wrist, its toxin flowing into my bloodstream.

I immediately tried to shake the centipede off, but it was too late. An intense heat filled my chest as the poison spread through my body. 'Poison,' I thought to myself, before losing control over my body and falling to the floor, unable to move.

The centipede, satisfied with its meal, crawled away from me and back to the swarm of insects that had attracted it to this place. Food was limited in this underground cave, and for the centipede, insects were its only source of sustenance. It was a coincidence that I had been bitten by this centipede, but it did not matter to me as I lay there, wracked with pain.

My attire was ragged and tattered, my clothes torn and frayed from my time in this prison. My hair was matted and unkempt, and my skin was covered in dirt and grime. I was barefoot, my feet calloused and rough from walking on the rough stone floor.

The venom of the small, unknown centipede was truly terrifying. Poison flowed through my blood vessels, attacking my whole body. It was as if fire had been poured over my nerves and pieces of glass had been lodged into my internal organs. Despite the intense pain, I did not scream once. My whole body was so numb that I couldn't even move.

My eyes opened wide in extreme pain. I didn't know it, but some kind of liquid seemed to pour out of my eyes as if blood had burst all over and my eyes were the gateway for it to pour out. As the poison attacked my body, the heat continued to intensify. My vision started to blur and my ears were ringing, my body was on fire, the pain was intense, I could feel my nerves being burned, my organs felt like they were being ripped apart.

I could hear the sound of my own labored breathing, and the sound of my heart beating erratically in my chest. The venom was coursing through my body, taking over my senses, and I knew that I was dying. I thought about my captors, the ones who had trapped me in this underground prison, and I vowed to myself that if I survived this, I would make them pay for what they had done to me.

As the glowing venom of the centipede took hold, I felt my body going limp, my vision fading to black. I knew that this could be the end for me, but I also knew that I would not go down without a fight.

The venom seemed to be targeting every single part of my body, my muscles were contracting and relaxing, I could feel my body shaking. I was drowning in pain, I could feel my body's movements slowing down, and my breathing became shallow. I could feel the venom spreading, my skin was starting to change color, my vision was getting darker, and my body was getting weaker.

I was alone in the darkness, surrounded by nothing but the sound of my own pain. I could feel my body starting to shut down, my heart rate was dropping.

I could not even let out a scream but I had to endure the pain. The underground chamber was damp and dimly lit, with moss growing on the walls and a musty smell permeating the air.

I was lying on the ground, curled up in a fetal position, my body wracked with pain. My tattered and dirty clothing, now stained with blood and sweat. I clutched my chest, where the pain was concentrated, my face contorted in a grimace. I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I was too weak.

The hours ticked by, and the pain only intensified. Every muscle and nerve in my body felt like it was being torn apart. I could feel my internal organs shutting down, one by one. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears, and my breathing became shallow and ragged. I closed my eyes, willing myself to pass out, but consciousness remained.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the numbness in my body began to dissipate. The heat in my chest dissipated, and I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I had somehow managed to survive the venom, but I knew that my body was damaged beyond repair.

I slowly dragged my broken body towards the door, the sound of my movements echoing in the chamber. My eyes locked onto the plate of food, and I knew I needed to eat to survive. Crawling like a centipede, I reached the plate and scooped up a handful of food, my hand shaking. The food was flavorless, but I didn't care. I had to survive.

As I ate, I whispered to myself, "I won't die. No matter what." My body was damaged, but I had triumphed over the venom that glowed in my veins. I had won the battle, and I wouldn't let it defeat me. I would live, no matter the cost.
