She chose to wear her training gear and headed out with a cape that covered her up completely. Before that, she dyed her hair black with the temporary hair dye Ron got her as well as put on the black contact lenses. After she was done changing into her disguise, she walked out of her room very naturally and blended into the lively town.
Eugene watched as people headed in and out of town. When she turned around a corner, she found a poster and found out that today was a celebration day for this town, which was why the streets were lit up very brightly and very colorfully. On both sides of the long street, many different types of stalls could be seen. Some stalls sold food, some sold masks that covered one's face completely, and some sold souvenirs.
Eugene naturally didn't stop at any of the stalls and only walked forward slowly. Just as she reached the end of the stalls, a loud scream could be heard, followed by footsteps heading far away from her.
"HELPP!! HELP!! THIEF!! A THIEF STOLE MY PURSE!" A loud scream belonging to a woman could be heard. Eugene stopped in her tracks for at least 20 seconds as the woman could be seen rushing towards her.
"Please! Please help me!" The woman grabbed onto Eugene and shook her.
"Please! That man stole my money! The money is for my sick child! Please! Please help me!" The woman continued to cry in front of Eugene. Too bad for the woman because there was no one but Eugene here on this street. This was the end of the street which means there were no vendors or stalls set up here, hence there was no crowd to help the woman.
Because Eugene did not respond and her face couldn't be seen, the woman bent her knees to look at Eugene who was staring at her with boredom and with a blank look on her face.
Almost instantaneously she did not care about her money and froze completely. In her eyes, she saw a beautiful woman with three beauty marks underneath her eyes. It was a face sculptured very perfectly, however, her jet black eyes that were staring at her gave her chills. Her body screamed that the person in front of her was a noblewoman because of the expressionless face Eugene had on.
"I..I" The woman stuttered. Her eyes trembled as it could not move away from Eugene's gaze. She also wanted to move her hands away from Eugene but found herself unable to.
Instead, Eugene grabbed the woman's arms off her shoulders and set it down for the woman. And before the woman could react, Eugene spoke,
"If it was that important, don't be careless.'' The moment Eugene spoke, the lady broke out in cold sweat. And before the woman could react, Eugene was already walking away. Eugene did not head towards the direction the woman came from and neither did she go back to the street filled with people.
Eugene ended up in a slum area by accident, and just as she was about to turn around, she came across a shop that said, Guild. It was weird because there was a perfectly standing shop in the middle of this area. Eugene was about to ignore it when she remembered what guild meant in medieval times and decided to head in. If there was someone with a considerable amount of power and information in this town, it would be a guild. And first, now, she needed a lot of manpower and a lot of information.
The first thing she noticed when she walked in was how dark the place was as well as the number of people in this building. It was an unconscious movement of the people but as soon as Eugene had walked in, all of the people turned to her and glanced at her.
Naturally, this made Eugene stop. She didn't stop because she was hesitating but stopped because she didn't know where to go. The guild people were staring at her, and likewise, she was staring at them and this continued on for 2 minutes before someone walked up to her.
"How may I help you Master?" the guy who walked up to her rubbed his hands nervously. He didn't realize it from far away but when he got closer, he had felt slightly oppressed and immediately knew that the person in front of him wasn't someone normal.
"I need information." The voice that replied to him was completely cold and direct. But one could tell that the person who spoke was a female despite the roughness in her voice.
"What's this? A Btch?" This was not the voice that belonged to the person in front of Eugene, but rather a man who was sitting on the couch with his legs propped to the table.
The person in front of Eugene turned around and walked away almost immediately and no one knows what he said to the man who cussed Eugene, but the rude man turned back to Eugene and began glaring at her.
"What? A Noble? What would an esteemed noble be doing here?" The man said through gritted. His voice sounded angry.
Eugene paid no heed to the man and just stared ahead. When the man realized that Eugene was not looking his way and was only concentrating on what's in front of her, he cursed loudly.
"FCK!! Because you have status you are ignoring me huh?!"
Once again, Eugene did not respond to the man and only stared at the person whose back was facing her.
The person in front of her could indeed feel the burning gaze behind his back and turned around to Eugene, "Please. Please come in. I will accompany you."
Eugene thanked him and followed after him. But just before they reached the room where he was going to escort her to, the man who had cussed at her rushed towards her from the side.
Almost Immediately everyone got up to stop the man but he was already behind Eugene and glaring at the crown of her hair from above. The rude man grabbed her by the shoulders and wanted to turn her around to face him when he found himself unable to.
This could be seen by everyone besides them who saw how much strength the rude man put it to turn Eugene around, only for Eugene to not budge a single centimeter. What they realized was that Eugene was not a normal person and they became wary of her.
"You btch! Who do you think you are to ignore me huh?!" He shouted loudly as the veins bulged on his hands.
"You bastard! What do you think you're doing on your first day here! DO YOU WANT TO BE FIRED?!" A random person shouted from far away"
The rude man without turning back laughed and shouted back, "THIS BTCH IGNORED ME!"
"YOU ARE FRIED! GET OUT!"
Eugene watched on as people conversed by shouting at each other back and forth. Her head lowered down to the hand that grabbed her shoulders from behind, and in a low voice she said, "Let go."
"HUH?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO ORDER ME AROUND!" The man shouted loudly as he gripped on her tighter.
"Let.go.before.I.snap." Eugene's voice lowered two pitches as the air around her began to get colder. The people surrounding Eugene and the rude man were covered in goosebumps. They had wanted to grab the man off of Eugene but froze because of Eugene's voice. There was something instinctual in them that told them to back away from Eugene, and they did.
"Snap?! Snap?!" The rude man did not understand the severity of the situation and did not let go of Eugene. And before the rude man realized it, or even anyone around them realized it, a loud crash could be heard.
The hand on Eugene's shoulder was no longer there but instead broken on the ground a meter away from her. Around the rude man were broken pieces of bookshelf that had been destroyed by the force of Eugene's throw.
Who didn't know that Eugene disliked being touched. She had a hard time getting used to Moniqua, Levis, Ramon, Aernest, and Euria's touch and only got used to it after many years. So, what does the man think he was doing except courting death.
-Cough-
The man tried to get up, however, he couldn't find the strength in him to get up. His whole entire body felt painful and he had no doubts that one or two of his ribs were broken.
"Wha… What happened?" The man shook his head to get rid of the haziness and blurriness in his vision when all of a sudden he heard one of the most frightening voices he has ever heard.
"He's fired right?" There was an authoritative tone in Eugene's voice, sounding as if she would not take a no for an answer.
"Y..Yes. Yes. He is." Someone closest to Eugene replied.
Eugene didn't say anything and walked to the man who had wanted to bring her to the room before the rude man stopped them.
