Episode 226- Ah… I'm going to die.

There was nothing but deep anger and resentment on the soldiers' and knights' faces as these emotions began to fill the execution arena. There was a mutual consensus between the knights and the soldiers at the moment and it was to obliterate the enemies who took away their blessed twin!

The knights and the soldiers all turned to Eugene, as they stared at her in a look that showed that they can't wait to kill her off. 

Eugene was already tired, and she couldn't handle the pressure that was put on her from all the people glaring at her. She could see her cold sweat dripping onto the ground because her head was lowered and she couldn't lift up her head. The last thing she knew, her eyes rolled back and she lost consciousness. 

'Ah… I'm going to die.' Eugene didn't doubt that her head would be flying off before she could open her eyes the next time...

Gasps of shock and speechlessness filled the execution ground the next time Eugene came through.

"She is awake…" Many people muttered and whispered as Eugene shook her head to get rid of her dizziness. 

'Ah… I'm not dead.' Eugene's vision and head cleared up visibly. 'My luck has not been used up after all!' She would most likely laugh herself to death in heaven or in hell if her luck truly had been used up and her head had rolled off her body when she fell unconscious. 

The two knights on the podium remained in place, but the tall soldier who had been with her on the podium had relocated beyond the body of water.

"Reporting! When Squad 2 arrived on the scene, they discovered that the tipped-in location had been ambushed." He shouted. "The shed by the base was in the midst of burning with 10 people stuck alive. 50 bandits died from poisoning, and the other 59 were discovered half a mile away from the criminal's base, slaughtered."

'The damn tip! THE TIP COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT THERE WAS AN ALLY!' Eugene shouted in her head! Sure, the guild wouldn't have known that she was a child because she looked like an adult because of her height but still! They could've mentioned that there was a female ally? 

The shed that was in the midst of burning wasn't even her doing! That was Exitium Darius who did it! He betrayed the organization! Do your research or ask me damn it!

Eugene exhaled, 'Nvm. I do not have the energy to speak.' She really had to do something with her inability to speak or it will be the cause of her death today.

"The rest were dismembered… gruesomely by this child as seen by many soldiers." The man said with a sigh. 

'... I mean… They deserved it.' Eugene didn't regret dismembering the 3 criminals into chicken wing pieces. In fact, they deserve way more! 

There was a nonchalant look on her face which made the knights put pressure on the stick that parted her arms. The pressure made her almost fall face flat onto the ground. 

It wasn't just the two knights who disliked the look on Eugene's face but many of the soldiers and knights who disliked the look on Eugene's face. Traces of anger, disgust could be seen on their faces, especially the soldiers, because to the soldiers, discipline and comradery came first before anything. This means that betraying your own people was a very sinful thing to do in the military. 

And her dismembering and betraying her 'allies' made that very angry and shocked. 

The tall soldier however continued, "Not only did this child interfere with our mission of capturing the bandits alive, but this child had also ruthlessly slaughtered everyone in a cruel and gruesome way! As per the rules of Xenperia, if a common citizen has killed someone and was found guilty of doing so, they will be sentenced to immediate death."

'Yes… Only if you are a common citizen. A noble, or people working for this country is excused from that law. Of course, if there was a valid reason for killing people.' In Xenperia, whoever takes a life, must pay back with their own life. As a result, a knight or soldiers who kill someone are exempt from this because there will be a day where they will pay back the lives they took with their own lives.

"Indeed! Wasn't there a rumor that the late Commander of Knights from Zene had groomed children to be used as weapons? Not to mention, the Emperor also mentioned that these children were strong, and if not killed immediately, they will become stronger and a danger to the country. 'What a terrible situation to be in.' Eugene gulped down her dry throat and mouth that smelled of iron as her heart thumped fiercely. If she did nothing, she was truly going to be executed!

Maybe she could have prevented this situation if she had not lost consciousness and announced who she was at the beginning. For this, she blamed her body instinct who told her to lie down on the bed of grass because it looked comfortable! Because if she hadn't done that, she wouldn't have been here right now!

'Curses! What if I die again? CURSES! Am I really going to die again?!?!' She didn't know if she could be revived again if that happens! Euria's letter sounded so complicated but the point she got from Euria's letter was that all of her reincarnations were so that she could come back to her first life. And this was her first life! This meant that… if she dies, she will flipping die! For real, for real!

'How should I go on about this? Especially with being unable to speak?' Eugene's mind was frantic. Her heart thumped fiercely as if telling her to stop dilly-dallying around and do something!

Her adventures had just begun! She just cured her alexithymia! Just began to love her family! How could she just die like this?

All of a sudden, a loud cough of attention was heard. Every soldier and every knight turned to the man who coughed. 

The person who coughed appeared old, however, he wore a knight's outfit. Someone… Eugene has never seen even though he was sitting beside Commander Guang. Most probably because Commander Guang's aura was so commendable that the old man didn't stand out.

"Men. Why don't we let this young girl speak?"

Eugene's eyes widened when the old man stood up. She was taken aback because, despite the fact that the old man had no aura, he was... buff.. Even more buff than Commander Guang who appeared to be a mountain of raw strength.
