Chapter 45 – That’s The Original Deal

 

‘It’s slower…’

She had been paying more attention as the magic power absorbed by the Elemental Cube had increased recently. Lisa looked up at Aileen confusedly. “Was it… because of me?”

The question didn’t disappear from Lisa’s face. However, Aileen didn’t care about her reaction and opened the lid of the potion bottle before handing it to her.

She looked at the potion bottle she handed her. It wasn’t pleasant; her kindness was a bit annoying as well. Before she could even ask her why, Aileen opened her mouth first as if she knew what Lisa was thinking inside her head.

’What nonsense is this again? I asked for a place to connect the Grand Duke and the Imperial Princess, but he sent me an escort instead?’

She went down from the bed and shook her head. As she staggered for a moment, Aileen anxiously said as she held her arm, “Lisa is resting. I will go and meet him.”

He looked at Lisa and gestured as if telling her to sit down on the sofa. Seeing his face, Lisa hurriedly turned away with wide eyes.
