Chapter 16: Public Affection

Utaha suddenly wiggles her body and leans toward him which causes Yu to become dumbfounded.

For some reason, Utaha decided to sit next to him. She's very close enough to make out with him again. 

Students from other schools stared sharply at his position making enough to shake his volition.

Their seat distance, after all, can say that they are a couple who shamelessly flirted in the public, not knowing that they are an eyesore because most of the students are single.

Utaha didn't even care about those stares and just feel his body heat. The comfort that she had always been missing finally arrived again in her life. 

Amiss of this place, she would always want to do it every now and then but knowing what was to come, she wouldn't want to be a nuisance again.

Seeing her comfortableness, there is an indescribable feeling that roams in his mind. After a bit of thinking, he concluded that what he felt is sympathy.

He doesn't why he felt that. On the other hand, her lean turn to hug.

An ache in his heart appears, seemingly wanting to speak the words like "I'm always by your side." or "Don't worry." but no words come out of his mouth.

Again, he doesn't love her however, it doesn't mean that he didn't start to like her. 

The more that she is out of her characteristic, the more he feels to know her.

In the end, he decided to be a man and hug her back. 

This sight suddenly becomes a show to other customers. Hoping to do other bold stuff that only couples can do to the public.

After a minute, they part from each other's arms and start to drink their orders.

The customers that watch them, feel unsatisfied while Yu and Utaha feel complete.

'It feels weird but I like it.'

His affection for her suddenly raised a bit.

After a minute, they parted from each other's arms while their eyes can't look away from each other.

"So, Kasumigaoka-sa—"

She put her index finger on his mouth.

"Utaha… only Utaha. Don't add a suffix."

"Then… Utaha, can I know how you know me? From my memory, I don't think that we met in the past. Same as the other three too."
