Chapter 27: Dream

In the void, floating for almost an hour, Yu was confused about how he got into this place. He's been thinking about the reason since earlier but he didn't have any idea. 

"Yu…"

A voice suddenly echoes in this place and then the surroundings change.

"Akihabara?! Why am I here?!" 

Again, the surroundings change.

"Coffee Shop?! Oh, I'm still in Akihabara but why the people didn't seem to notice me? Am I a ghost? Or this is just a dream? Dream... Yes! It might be a dream." 

He nodded in agreement to his words. 

Looking beneath him, he saw familiar people, sitting at a table.

"Kyoko?! Yui?! What are they doing here?! And why they are both looked older? and Yui's belly… huh? What is going on?!!!!" 

He was confused now about what he saw. After the confused talk to himself, Kyoko and Yui talk to each other.

"I regret that I didn't..."

"Confess, right?"

"Yes"

"Well… I don't know that happened to you and my husband so… I can't help you."

"Don't worry, after all, I'm the idiot one." 

Kyoko said as she burst into tears.

"In the first place, my husband only sees you as his friend. You might want to get him but you're already late. I even help you twice now. Sorry, but I can't let your feeling force my husband anymore."

"I know… I already accepted that fact a long time ago so right now, I only want to talk about that for the last time."

"Oh, Right. What stage?"

"4"

"You're still my husband's friend and my friend too, I can let him help you?"

"No, this is plenty. I don't want to trouble him anymore."

Yui sighs. 

"Can you not let him know this?"

As this conversation goes on, the scream of the people suddenly rises from the outside. Yu saw some flying reptile-like birds with a person equipping a spear on the back of it.

'Is that a dragon? No, based on my RPG game knowledge, dragons are bigger than that. So it might be only a wyvern.'

Suddenly, one of the wyverns dives to where Kyoko and Yui sit. When Kyoko saw this, she immediately push away Yui from the table and got pierced by the spear.

"KYOKO!!!!" 

Waking up suddenly, he screams in terror and is drenched in his own sweat. 

"What is that? Why did I say her name? Who are they? What dream is that? Think, think remember what you dream Yu. Why?! I can't remember the last part?" 

He remembered that he is in Akihabara and know that 2 girls are talking to each other but he didn't know why he can't remember their faces and the happenings after their conversation.

He tries to calm down as he lay back on his bed. After a few minutes, he calmed down. 

"What kind of bad dream is that? It's too realistic?" 

He tries to calm down as he stood up. Although he wanted to know what happened to the last part, he can't do that because he can't remember it. That's why his conclusion is that is just a bad dream. 

"Even just a bad dream, I hope what happened there will not happen in real life." 

He's pushing up to take over his nervousness. 

After that, he goes to his daily routine; Sprint, rest, take a bath, and eat breakfast but today there's different. 

He made himself a bento. 

He always buys cola and sandwiches for a lunch break so he wanted to change his food for today. 

After making his bento, he eats his breakfast and goes to his school.
