Chapter 33: Shinomiya Kaguya 1

Lately, I feel something whenever I see him. A very pleasant feeling since the day I saw him. It started when the new school year begins in my 2nd year.

For someone like me who was born into a family with big corporations here in Japan, my life is already been decided by my family, especially for the person that I will marry in the future. But right now, I'm trying to fight my destiny by being excel in academics and planning to take over the corporation, instead of being a tool for corporal marriage. 

Since middle school, I've been top in one of the most elite schools in the country, shuchiin academy, not until I became a high school student.

As I look up to the board, I didn't see my name at first but on second. "Shirogane Miyuki" I read the name above mine. This is the first time that I was defeated by someone so I'm shocked but It can't be seen on my face.

After that, I set my goal to defeat that person but I failed many times. People call me "a multi-talented genius who can do anything if she sets her mind to it" but I can't defeat a person who is below me other than in academics. 

Some months later, he was voted as the new Student Council President, I as the Student Council Vice President, and as the only friend I have, other than Hayasaka, I nominated Fujiwara as the Student Council Secretary.

Since the day I joined the Student Council, I have been starting to get along with them and they were able to change my attitude towards people. 

I even asked Hayasaka to make me wear something that can make me less imposing and cold to others. 

I've been conscious of Shirogane at that time since he defeated me so I think that he can be considered as one I would be fine to be in a relationship with if, and only if, he confesses first, thus I waited but that day didn't happen and the school year ends.

Before the school year ends, a student who punched the drama club president got suspended in middle school. 

The Student Council manages both junior and senior high school after all. "This is weird" As Kaichou reads the report he said this while thinking deeply.

For the following days, I helped him to know the truth behind the rumors. It seems that the student is an idiot. 

The truth is very stupid but the intention is pure so we helped that person and let him in entering the Student council when he became a high school because from what I investigated, he is a skilled person that fitted to be our treasurer.

Nothing changes as I go into the Student Council Room other than we have our new member this year and his name is Ishigami Yu. 

This is the first time we saw each other since I don't have any reason to see him in the past. We greeted without any honorifics since starting this day we will be working together.

However, an unexpected happen to me.

"Ara, Ishigami-Kun, you're too early for today. Are you that excited for today's event?" 

I said this in a playful tone. From what I see him, he is a handsome man but his hair covers that. If he decided to cut that hair, many girls will probably fall in love with him, except for me. 

I can't see myself for someone like him. In terms of achievements, Kaichou is better than other guys.

"Hai! senpai!"
