Chapter 46: Quest Appearance

'This is kinda uncomfortable.'

Since he saw her, he can't just ignore her so he decided to stop and start talking to her.

"Uhm... Megumi... Why are you tailing me? Do you want to kill me?"

"Huh... What are you saying?" She said as she tilt her head with a confused expression.

"Well... You've been tailing me since we go out of the cafe so..." (Yu)

When she heard his words, she sighs deeply.

"Haaaa* I know your joking but please can you stop that"

Yu's face right now is showing a terrified expression like his life is nearer to death. After he heard her words he stop it.

"So, why are you tailing me? Is there something wrong? Is there something you wanted to say to me? It can't be... Your gonna confess to me?"

She stared blankly at him after she heard this and passed him. 

"Uhm... Where are you going?" Megumi has been tailing on him since earlier so he got confused when she passed to him.

"Go home" 

She didn't look at him when she reply and continued to walk to the entrance of the house next to Yu's house.

'It can't be...' 

He couldn't believe what he saw so he asked his thought so he could hear from Megumi's mouth.

"I thought... that your house... is in the opposite direction?"

"Oh, That! I have a part-time job after school that's why I always go in that direction. Right now, the shop is closed so I can go home early."

Yu is speechless. 

Before school started, he's been in his new house for a month but the fact that he didn't see Megumi even once is both scary and regretful.
