Chapter 22 Adoption of Technology
Muzi Technology.
The lobby office was extremely noisy.
There were three large desks that could accommodate eighteen people. They were filled with computer desks and were particularly crowded.
Everyone was on the phone, talking to clients, talking about system security and loophole digging
They were all engineers who were proficient in security network technology. Thanks to the ultra-high efficiency of the vulnerability-scanning software, they did not need to spend their time on technical problems and had been forced to change their careers to become salespeople.
“It’s done, it’s done! Brother Zhang, I’ve negotiated the bank’s order!”
Suddenly, a technician hung up and ran excitedly towards Zhang Yang, shouting happily.
“Good job! Little Chen, you did well! Now, we’ve even signed with a bank.” Zhang Yang suddenly stood up from his seat and patted Chen Yongkun’s shoulder excitedly.
Clap, clap, clap…
There was a sudden burst of applause in the hall. Hearing the good news, everyone stood up and congratulated them with loud applause.
Taking on important bank clients would benefit everyone.
In the field of cybersecurity, banking finance had the highest requirements, second only to military cybersecurity.
Now, Muzi Technology was able to take on the cybersecurity projects of a bank. It was almost equivalent to obtaining an important technical endorsement. In the future, when discussing projects and cooperation with other companies, they could mention that they worked with a bank previously. When the other companies saw that even a certain bank was a client of Muzi Technology, they would definitely not be picky about the technology. It would be much easier to discuss cooperation with the client.
This technical endorsement was very important.
“Good, good. Everyone, work hard to rope in a few more major clients and make the company famous. The project bonus and commission will be increased. Everyone will definitely have a good year this year.” Zhang Yang pressed his hands together and looked around at his subordinates as he encouraged them excitedly.
“Understood!”
“Brother Zhang, you can rely on me!
“I’ve made two orders today!”
“Alright, if I can’t sign with that company today, I won’t get off work!”
The inspired crowd responded enthusiastically.
Soon, the noise of discussion spread. Some people found it too noisy and took their phones to the hallway to communicate with their clients. Some went to the bathroom, some to the conference room.
Seeing this, Zhang Yang knew what he had to do.
The office area of the company was small and could no longer meet normal needs. It was time for him to ask President Li to increase the office space and recruit more teams.
Zhang Yang left his desk and went to Cai Xiaowei’s desk in front of Li Yi’s office.
Zhang Yang knew that President Li was definitely not in the office so he looked for Cai Xiaowei and asked, “Xiaowei, do you know when President Li is coming to the office?” “He didn’t say, but President Li just moved into a new apartment. It’s at the Xinyang Building next to the company. You can look for him there,” Cai Xiaowei replied.
“That’s great. I’ll go find him now.” Zhang Yang’s eyes lit up and he turned to leave excitedly.
“Manager Zhang, wait a moment. I’ll bring you over! I happen to be free.” Cai Xiaowei stopped Zhang Yang and suggested.
“Yes! Thank you.” Zhang Yang looked at Cai Xiaowei strangely and thanked her gratefully.
“You’re welcome. Tell President Li first so that he won’t come down to open the door.” Cai Xiaowei smiled shyly and reminded him.
Zhang Yang nodded and took out his phone to send Li Yi a voice call request.
“President Li, Xiaowei and I are going to the apartment to report something to you. Is it convenient now?” Zhang Yang asked.
“Okay, come over!” Li Yi agreed and hung up.
“No problem. We’re coming over right now!” Zhang Yang put away his phone and looked at Cai Xiaowei. Cai Xiaowei nodded and led Zhang Yang to Li Yi’s apartment.
The door opened to reveal Li Yi sitting at the computer desk, tapping away at the keyboard with intense concentration.
“Coming! Sit on the sofa for a while. I’ll be ready soon!” Li Yi instructed without turning his head.
Zhang Yang nodded and sat down on the sofa to wait.
Cai Xiaowei ran to the fridge and placed two bottles of mineral water on the table. Then, she tactfully left the room and closed the door behind her.
Zhang Yang stared blankly at Li Yi typing the code and could not help but secretly click his tongue.
It was too amazing. He would never be able to achieve such programming speed in his entire life.
After about two minutes, Li Yi suddenly stopped, stood up, and walked towards Zhang Yang. “Sorry to keep you waiting. It just so happens that I reached a point where it was not convenient to stop.”
“I understand, I understand. Boss Li, have some water!” Zhang Yang nodded and opened a bottle of water for Li Yi.
Li tYi ook the mineral water and dropped onto the sofa.
“President Li, today is a very meaningful day as we just signed our first bank client. In addition, the team members are all very hardworking and the business is developing very quickly. I think we can work harder and recruit more people.” Zhang Yang looked at Li Yi and reported excitedly.
“Well, if you need to do anything, just go ahead and do it! You’re in charge of this!” Li nodded in agreement. Li Yi had let go of many things in the company. Zhang Yang was allowed to recruit people on his own.
“President Li, the company doesn’t have enough office space. Do you want to find another place, or…” Zhang Yang asked for instructions in embarrassment.
“Uh, let Cai solve that problem. I think she just went out. Ask her to come back and we’ll talk,” Li Yi said quickly after understanding the situation.
“Okay!” Zhang Yang nodded excitedly and quickly called Cai Xiaowei.
Not long after, Cai Xiaowei returned and pushed the door open.
Li Yi looked at Cai Xiaowei and instructed, “Xiaowei, the company needs to recruit more employees. Ask if any of the company’s property owners have left or if they have an entire floor available for rent. If it doesn’t work, look around and confirm the new office as soon as possible.”
“Well, President Li, how big of an office area are we going to rent this time?” Cai Xiaowei was not surprised and asked for instructions.
“Well, let’s see!” Li frowned, hesitating.
As the number of people taking part in the clearing system increased, so did the number of programs provided. Li Yi needed help summarizing and reviewing.
He could either put the office staff of the two projects together or form another company!
The prospects of the simulation experimental project were definitely more promising than the loopholes. However, it would not make money in the early stages. There would definitely be a problem if two different projects were placed together. However, if they were not placed together, no one would help him manage them.
Li Yi was having a hard time deciding. He didn’t like running the company, and he didn’t have time for it.
The question was, what now?
“How about this! Xiaowei, bring Manager Xu and Manager Zhang over. We’ll have a meeting and discuss.” Li Yi looked at Cai Xiaowei and was slightly embarrassed as he instructed her.
“Okay!” Cai Xiaowei agreed and left the apartment obediently.
