However, it deserved to be overturned. Xie Yang didn’t move his body and just tilted his head to look at Qiu Xing at the door. “You had many opportunities to see it previously but you gave it up.”

The angry Qiu Xing choked up.

“One time, your hands went inside my clothes but you pulled them out again.”

Qiu Xing’s face started to turn red and he looked away from Xie Yang, his initial aggressiveness gone.

“Another time, I took the initiative to take off my clothes but you just buttoned them up again.”

Qiu Xing’s face was as stiff as a statue and his tone was weak. “Okay, don’t say it.”

However, Xie Yang insisted on saying it.

“Last time on the day of my graduation ceremony, I changed clothes in front of you but you didn’t look from beginning to end.”

Qiu Xing couldn’t stand it anymore and strode into the room.

Xie Yang smiled and deliberately said, “Many times, I went to take a shower and invited you to join me. You—”

Qiu Xing stopped by the sofa, bent over to hold Xie Yang’s face and lowered his head. Xie Yang quieted down. He stared at Qiu Xing’s close-up face and raised his hand to hold the back of Qiu Xing’s neck, closing his eyes.

Xie Yang pinched Qiu Xing’s ears and asked, “Do you want to see it?”

Qiu Xing’s breathing was slightly heavy. He watched Xie Yang raising his eyebrow and smiling and his Adam’s apple moved. He pulled Xie Yang off the sofa, lifting him up and carrying him to the bathroom.

Xie Yang held down Qiu Xing’s shoulder and bent over to pick up the phone that was thrown on the sofa. “Wait a minute, I will post the promotional Weibo first.”

“……”

Xie Yang finished making a post and put down his phone, gesturing to Qiu Xing.

Qiu Xing had been left hanging for a while and his feverish brain calmed down. He once again became hesitant. Xie Yang squinted at him, picked up the phone again and turned to a comment for Qiu Xing to see.

Yang Xing is True: Ahhh, I’m sorry CP sisters! Let me have just a minute! Mr Qiu can play music! Yang Yang is mine! I want to touch that mole!

Qiu Xing’s face darkened in an instant. He pulled the phone out of Xie Yang’s hand and threw it on the bed. Then he gritted his teeth and stared at Xie Yang. “Do you have to make me angry?”

“Do it or not? If you don’t do it then I will start reading comments.”

“……”

Qiu Xing held Xie Yang’s face and lowered his head again.

The two people proceeded through the beginning steps in a careful and stumbling manner. However, just as they were about to get to the point, Qiu Xing retreated. He held Xie Yang down and frowned, “No, we should wait for our wedding…”

This timid and conservative guy.

Xie Yang turned over and searched under the pillow. He pulled out a red book and said, “We have obtained the certificate. Everything is legal.”

The red certificate contrasted with his white skin and Qiu Xing felt a bit drunk.

Xie Yang searched under the pillow again and pulled out a document. “Or do you want a real one?”

The white paper, the black letters that wrote the words ‘divorce agreement’ in big writing were particularly eye-catching. Qiu Xing’s expression sank. He hurriedly grabbed the damn document and threw it aside. “Why do you keep this with you?”

“Continue?”

Qiu Xing’s fingers tightened. He was full of desire but he strangely resisted.

Xie Yang guessed Qiu Xing’s thoughts and took the initiative to hold him. He pinched the back of Qiu Xing’s neck and said, “What are you afraid of? You will definitely be treated. In addition, I know what I am doing. I am 21 years old and I’m not a child. I am certain that I won’t regret being with you.”

Qiu Xing raised his arms to hug Xie Yang and pressed this person into his arms.

“I…” Qiu Xing’s voice was low and coaxing. “I didn’t prepare in advance… you will be injured so wait.”

Xie Yang pushed Qiu Xing away and once again reached under the pillow, from where he pulled out a small bag. It was transparent so it was obvious with one glance the things that were inside.

Xie Yang thoughtfully said, “It’s fine, I prepared it. I thought you wouldn’t be able to bear it any longer after coming back from the crew. Don’t worry, the size is absolutely right. I have observed you—”

Qiu Xing couldn’t believe it and covered Xie Yang’s mouth, his tone angry. “You are still observing—how can you buy this!”

“I didn’t buy it. Wu Shui bought it.”

“……”

Xie Yang pushed away Qiu Xing with an indifferent expression. “Forget it, I won’t force you. However, perhaps some fans are holding my photos and imagining how to treat me—”

Qiu Xing blocked Xie Yang’s mouth with a dark face. Then he reached out and turned off the light.

***

The advantage of having his ability was that despite having a tiring night, Xie Yang could still be lively the next day. He woke up, stretched comfortably and got ready to get out of bed.

Qiu Xing had just walked out of the bathroom after washing. His expression changed drastically and he hurried forward to hold down Xie Yang’s body. He frowned and spoke cautiously, “Don’t move. Lie down. What do you want for breakfast? I’ll bring it up for you.” He touched Xie Yang’s forehead as he spoke.

Xie Yang was confused at first and then he understood. He pulled down Qiu Xing’s hand in an amused manner and told the other person, “You are being too careful. I’m fine and I’m not injured. I also don’t have a fever.”

Qiu Xing was still frowning. “You lie down. I’ll check it later.”

Check?

Xie Yang raised his eyebrow, lay back obediently and nodded. “Okay, you can check it.”

An hour and a half later, Xie Yang was finally able to get up. He picked up the pyjamas next to the bed and slowly put it on. Then he asked Qiu Xing who was still lying on the bed, “Do you want to check it again?”

Qiu Xing’s face was green for a while. He couldn’t believe that his self-control was so rubbish. He got out of bed and walked to Xie Yang’s side, touching Xie Yang’s forehead with one hand and rubbing his waist with the other. Then after a long time, he said, “Sorry, I should’ve let you have a good rest.”

“It’s fine. I’m well pleasured.”

“……” Qiu Xing stared at Xie Yang. “Don’t talk nonsense!”

Xie Yang raised his eyebrow. “I’m telling the truth.”

Qiu Xing raised a hand and covered his mouth. Then he turned around to help Xie Yang put on his clothes, carefully buttoning it up. Finally, he raised his eyes to meet Xie Yang’s eyes, declaring solemnly, “I will be responsible.”

“This is the time when you say that you like me.”

Qiu Xing watched Xie Yang and reached out to hug him, rubbing the back of his head.

“I like you… I like you very much.”

Xie Yang was satisfied. He held Qiu Xing and gently patted his back. “Me too.”

Xie Yang might be fine but Qiu Xing still forced him to rest for a day. He himself didn’t go to Rongding to work for once and spent time at home with Xie Yang. Before dinner, Xie Yang received a call from Qin Cheng. “The V Group’s magazine is out of stock.”

Xie Yang was surprised. “It’s only been on sale for less than a day and it is out of stock?”

You are reading story My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness at novel35.com

“Yes, the V Group didn’t expect the sales situation to be this great. They had actually increased the number of copies this month compared to previous months but it still isn’t enough. This is good news. All partners like artists who can sell goods. By the way, your new album has been reviewed and can be released at any time. Do you want to do a presale first or directly put it online?”

“Directly online, digital and physical versions.”

“Okay, I’ll arrange it. When do you want to release it?”

Xie Yang looked at Qiu Xing standing by the window of the living room and talking on the phone. “As soon as possible. Qiu Xing’s third treatment is coming. After that, I will start managing Rongding’s affairs and won’t have time to run around for album promotions.”

Qin Cheng’s voice instantly rose. “Managing Rongding’s affairs?”

“Yes, I’ll be Rongding’s vice-chairman in the future.”

After a long period of silence, Qin Cheng silently hung up. He was presumably digesting the news. Not long after the conversation with Qin Cheng, Liu Sha called him and said, “Huangtian has started to collapse. Hong Zhijie wants to sell his shares of Huangtian and run away.”

It was finally here. It had been almost two months since Mu Zhouyi’s accident. The Feng family could really bear it.

Xie Yang commanded, “Be prepared to grab the resources of Huangtian. Yang Qing knows the current Huangtian best, so you should first ask her for her opinions. Don’t bring back some ingrates and poor resources. It is fine to leave this matter to her to handle if she wants.”

Liu Sha answered positively.

Meanwhile, Qiu Xing finished speaking on the phone and turned to walk this way. Upon seeing this, Xie Yang exchanged a few more sentences with Liu Sha before hanging up. He watched Qiu Xing and asked, “Is the matter finished?”

Qiu Xing nodded. He stopped in front of Xie Yang and touched his forehead. “Let’s go out to eat tonight.”

“Why do you suddenly want to go out to eat?”

“Let Master Liao take a day off.”

It was a bad excuse.

Xie Yang didn’t ask much. He pulled down Qiu Xing’s hand and got up. “Okay, let’s go out to eat.”

The two of them went upstairs to change clothes before getting in the car. After getting in the car, Zhou Miao didn’t ask where they were going. He directly started the car and drove out. Xie Yang raised an eyebrow and glanced at Qiu Xing who was inexplicably a bit tense. He asked, “Where are we going to eat?”

“A newly opened private restaurant. The owner is the descendant of an imperial chef and he is really good at making sweet dishes.”

During his filming in J City, Xie Yang followed the local customs and ate spicy food with the crew every day. Before returning to B City, Xie Yang once told Qiu Xing that he had eaten too much spicy food recently and wanted to eat sweet food. He hadn’t expected Qiu Xing to remember.

Xie Yang held Qiu Xing’s hand. “Thank you.”

Qiu Xing looked over at Xie Yang. He saw the satisfied smile on Xie Yang’s face and suddenly felt uncomfortable. He squeezed Xie Yang’s hand. “Don’t be silly.”

It was just a meal. Why so happy?

More than an hour later, the car stopped in front of a low-key store. Qiu Xing got out of the car first and held the car roof. Then after Xie Yang got down, he held his hand and walked toward the store.

The private restaurant had a simple layout. The tables were separated by screens and there were no boxes. The waiter led them to a table by the window and handed them the menu.

Xie Yang ordered food and then observed the place. He looked out the window and was surprised. “This place is so close to Rongding and Yang Xing. You can see the Rongding building.”

“If you like it here then we can come back here to eat.”

“Master Liao will probably be troubled and you need to talk to Dr Kirkman. You don’t have to be so careful with food now but it is better to eat out less frequently.”

Qiu Xing looked at Xie Yang and seemed to be emphasizing something. “I mean in the future when I’m well. No matter what dishes you want to eat, I will accompany you to eat them.”

Xie Yang’s heart was moved and he stared at Qiu Xing. However, Qiu Xing lowered his head and poured tea for Xie Yang. “…Yang Yang, you are too skinny now. You have to eat more.”

This was the first time Qiu Xing was calling him such an intimate name when the two of them were facing each other, completely sober and without any outsiders. Qiu Xing might’ve avoided his gaze while saying it but this didn’t prevent Xie Yang from being happy. He smiled, moved closer to Qiu Xing and asked in a low voice, “Are you thinking that you can’t feel my flesh when touching me?”

Qiu Xing’s hand shook and he spilled the tea. He hurriedly put down the teapot to get a tissue to wipe it. It was just that his movements were too big and he overturned the cap, causing more liquid to flow out.

Xie Yang laughed as he fell back in his chair. Qiu Xing became angry so he got up and sat next to Xie Yang to cover his mouth. Xie Yang kissed Qiu Xing’s palm. Qiu Xing withdrew his hand. “Doing this in public, you—”

“You are thinner than me but I don’t dislike you. I think you are very comfortable to touch.”

Qiu Xing couldn’t bear it anymore. He picked up a pre-meal snack on the table and stuffed it into Xie Yang’s mouth for him to shut up. Xie Yang obediently ate the snack and watched Qiu Xing who was no longer full of inexplicable tension and solemnity.

It was completely dark by the time they finished the meal. The street light turned on and the heat of the day faded. There were many more people on the street. Qiu Xing took Xie Yang’s hand and said, “Let’s go.”

Xie Yang nodded.

The two of them wandered slowly down the street. Qiu Xing was completely unmasked and Xie Yang only wore a hat. Someone soon recognized them. Xie Yang noticed two young girls on the other side who wanted to come over. He smiled and raised his hand, motioning to the hand he was holding with Qiu Xing. The two girls stopped hesitantly.

Qiu Xing noticed Xie Yang’s small movements and glanced across the street. Then he pulled Xie Yang to his side and frowned. “Your career is really inconvenient.”

“Once the time is right, I will stop taking commercial activities. I’ll just release songs and hold concerts. My popularity will go down and it won’t be like this.”

Qiu Xing’s frown loosened and his tone eased. “I don’t mean to interfere with your career. Just do whatever you like but… you have to control your fans!”

Xie Yang was amused. “I like writing songs and singing. In fact, I don’t have much ambition. I wouldn’t have established Yang Xing if it wasn’t for survival. If possible, I want to be a lazy worm and sleep every day. I will wake up naturally and have my favourite food for every meal. I will be inspired to write songs and if I’m out of inspiration, I will go for a walk.” He glanced at Qiu Xing. “It will be perfect if there is a person to warm my bed at night.”

Qiu Xing didn’t speak and just held Xie Yang’s hand tighter. Unknowingly, the two of them turned onto a street with relatively few people. As they were passing by the entrance of a community, Qiu Xing abruptly stopped and glanced at Xie Yang. “Shall we go to our new home?”

Xie Yang had guessed that Qiu Xing must’ve been hiding something when he pretended to be calm and wanted to go out for dinner. Now his guess was confirmed. He wasn’t very surprised but he pretended to be. “New home?”

Qiu Xing nodded and pulled at Xie Yang’s hand. Xie Yang saw the side door of the community not far away and walked towards it with Qiu Xing. There was a guard box at the side entrance. Qiu Xing took a card and swiped it. The electronic door opened and they went inside.

There was a two-lane main road after entering through the door. Retro-style lamps lit up both sides of the main road. The trees on both sides of the road were lush and neat with stone paths among them. Qiu Xing didn’t lead Xie Yang down the main road. He took him to a stone path on the right.

“This community is also under Rongding. It has been developed for over 10 years. It only takes 10 minutes to drive to Rongding and Yang Xing.”

Xie Yang watched Qiu Xing.

“I lived here for a few years. Previously, you said you wanted to move and I immediately thought of this place. It isn’t a new house but I have rearranged it. The garden has also been re-planned and arranged.”

The path came to an end and they arrived at another main road. The quiet atmosphere was broken by the faint human voices and music from diagonally in front of the main road. Xie Yang looked over and saw it was an activity area. He could vaguely see an iron fence around a basketball court.

Qiu Xing also glanced over and showed nostalgia before quickly returning to his senses. “Do you like to play basketball? If you like then I can accompany you later.”

The mouse that hid himself in the grave was finally returning to the world.

Xie Yang nodded. “Okay, then you have to take care of your body quickly.”

“Yes.”

They walked down the main road and met some residents who were coming out for activities. There were couples walking together, elderly people pushing baby strollers, young people walking dogs… it wasn’t noisy and felt very warm.

They walked down the main road for a while before Qiu Xing once again led Xie Yang onto a stone path. At the end of the path was a single family European-style small villa with a courtyard.

“We’re here.”

Qiu Xing brought Xie Yang to the gate of the courtyard and opened it with his fingerprints.
