Chapter 14: Combat Class(1)

As Kelan and Tina were returning to their dorm.

Kelan suddenly saw someone familiar. 

"Jacob" he called out,

Jacob looked up and replied "Hey buddy how are you doing?". 

But Kelan seems to notice dark bags under Jacobs's eyes and he had a little hunched-back due to the way he was walking.

"Jacob what's wrong you don't look okay.?"

"Sigh...  Let's talk at the library" Jacob replied.

Then they went to the library along with Tina. 

They sat around a small table in the corner of the library. 

"What happened buddy? "

"OK let me explain when I got tested yesterday, I encountered a second-year student and mistakenly brushed his shoulder, I apologized to him immediately, heck this guy started to torture me with his gang, he also asked me to transfer my credit points to him every day.

From what I investigated about him I heard that he is from the Rowan family, one of the protectors, his name is Ben. 

That's not all. 

About the dark bags under my eyes. 

When I entered my dorm I saw my roommate inside. We greeted each other, his name is Kelvin, he is very chubby and a C-rank supe.

I never had any qualms with him before he slept, but before I could finally sleep, 

That dirty pig was snoring and farting all night long, 

Heck, I had to inhale the foul odor and the snoring till dawn." Jacob said with his eyes that were almost tearing up. 

"You got a bad roommate, after all, buddy, and

I also have a troublesome roommate", then he took a glance at Tina who was slightly blushing. 

"We are going to make that guy who bullied you pay. "

Kelan and Tina went back to their dorm, Tina has been avoiding Kelan's gaze for some reason. 

Then she sat on the chair and was looking at Kelan like prey. 

"Kelan, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure go ahead "

"Why did you call me your woman"

Kelan smirked and said "Do you think I would let another man take you, all those words you heard me say, I was dead serious about it.

We have been friends since when we were  kids, there is no reason for you to reject me." 

"What if I say I don't like you?"

"Then I will make you like me."

"Kelan it looks like you have forgotten the beating I gave you, last two years," Tina smirked and grinned from ear to ear. 

"I won't mind repeating it", Tina cracked her knuckles and started moving towards Kelan. 

Kelan's face turned pale. 

[oh oh here comes the devil].

Screaming sounds echoed throughout the dorms.

Kelan was seen sweating and gulping hard with a swollen face. 

Tina had beaten him to a pulp, now that she was an E rank supe her body hardening had become more proficient.

Although Kelan was much stronger than her and he could beat her easily, he would never lay his hands on a woman, especially the one he loved.

Tina also took advantage of this because she knew Kelan wouldn't touch her no matter how much she scolded him. 

When she was done beating him, she smiled and kissed him on the cheeks. 

"Do you like it darling "

Kelan gulped and cursed her in his mind. 

"So she will pretend in public like a maiden who has fallen in love. 

But when we are alone she turns into the God of war, heck why does it seem like I am enjoying her beatings? Am I slowly turning into a masochist? " Kelan thought. 

Then Kelan cursed mystro and blamed him. 

[woah Woah Woah look like someone's got the balls of steel ]

"It's all your fault you idiot." 

[You dumb ass, don't you see that she is somehow possessive like a housewife, she probably likes you ]

"There's no way I can cope with her if she keeps doing this,"' Kelan laments.

The second day Kelan woke up at exactly 5 am and completed his daily mission.

"Hmm it seems like I would have to hunt some beast to level up, I will leave the base through Regan 's influence," Kelan thought. 

He took his bath, wore the military school uniform, and woke Tina. 

Today will be their first day at class, every one of the students will choose their class based on their abilities. 

Tina hastily dressed up as it was past 7 am, and they had to see the list of classes. 

Kelan and Tina went out of their dorm, Kelan texted Jacob and Regan to meet on the first floor.

When Kelan arrived on the first floor he saw Regan patiently waiting for him. 

But he couldn't find Jacob, "Hey Regan, how are you doing today?"

"I'm good and you?"

"I'm fine". 

Kelan was still looking around for Jacob but he couldn't see him. 

"Who are you looking for?" Regan asked. 

"I'm looking for Jacob," 

"Oh I remembered you told me about him, anyways let check all the classes available "

Then they went towards the digital board. 

Classes available :

°Elemental class 

°Beast weapons mastery (combat class) 

°Research and development 

°Crafting 

°Logistics 

"Hmm it seems I am going to the combat class", Kelan said.

"Me too" Tina replied and she winked, Kelan gulped and he cursed inwardly.

Regan, who was observing them, chuckled.

"It seems I am going to the elemental class," Regan said

"What is your ability," Kelan asked 

"I can manipulate fire" 

"What about you? "

"Errrr.....force field", Kelan lied through his teeth 

"My force field is just a skill, it doesn't last long," Kelan thought.

Even Tina gave him a weird look. 

[Hmm I think this is the best idea, at least as you level up the force field would also evolve]

"Ok let me show you guys" 

Then Kelan activated his Force field.

Regan and Tina could feel an overbearing pressure on their body like their flesh was almost ripped apart.

Tina was flabbergasted, she never knew Kelan had an ability 

But she was confused, as his family didn't have any special bloodline.

"Hmm nice ability," Regan commented. 

"Hey, Tina... Kelan "

Both Tina and Kelan turned their heads and saw Jacob looking stressed out Like a professor, with purple bags under his eyes.

"Jacob, what is going on,?" Tina asked worriedly. 

"Man it's that fat pig"

"Do you mean your roommate?

"It's not only that, that guy Ben is terrorizing my life." Jacob sighed.

"Wait, do you mean Ben from the Rowan family?" Regan asked 

"Yes, exactly"

"Don't worry I will deal with him"

"Thank you very much, bro "

Jacob felt gratitude.

"Okay let's head to our classes at 7:55 am," Kelan said.
