Chapter 2: Cp.2_A New Life

After quite some time, I’m still in the never ending in darkness. But this time I felt something different, I can tell that I’m breathing and alive.

“Hmm? This bed is so comfy~” I said for the first time in my new body.

“Wait that was my voice.. and I can actually feel my body! The wait is over!”

I slowly opened my eyes to see a fancy ceiling in a bright room filled with probably sunlight.

“I feel fresh, this doesn’t feel like my previous sluggish body”

“I feel cold~~” *Shivering intensifies*

I got up and stretch my body which feels so good as my hair comes into view.

“Wha- MY HAIR IS WHITE!”

“THE HEROIN’S HAIR IS BLONDE, and the villainess is white…”

“Oh no, great! Now I have a short lifetime with a guaranteed death by my most favorite character in the novel, the first prince…”

“Now I will live as Rosemary Aveline Athena Earl, the evil villainess”

“My rival is the heroin, her full name is Mariana Gardena Clifford, from the low Clifford family. Though I must say, her beauty described in the novel was that she is the pretties in the world”

I started to look around to see the room, anyone can tell that this is a high noble’s room. It’s huge, gold everywhere, fancy furnitures, large comfy bed, and much more!

At this point I’m still mad of the character I got and without realizing I feel into deep thoughts of how to avoid my upcoming death at my 17^th birthday.

“Hmm if I die at the age 17, then how old am I now? I’ll ask someone later. Since I lived a miserable 25 years in my past life, let’s make this at least a year of my time left without regrets and do whatever I want!”

Also how can I forget how the story plot goes, since I’m in deep thoughts the author will explain the original plot of the story in the novel.

 

The romance novel is called “The forbidden love”, which is her favorite romance novel. As the title suggest, our heroin comes from a low unpopular noble family when the prince comes from the royal family so it is highly unlikely and unbeneficial for the royal family, the prince’s parents only cared about fame, status, money, and much more from a high family engagement. Though it is highly unlikely, they feel deep in love. As for the plot, Rosemary has been spoiled and bad treated by her parents all her life, She is also the only child. She is engaged with the prince when she is 10 years old as the two families agreed for the sake of title and fame of their houses(Yes the villainess is a high noble from a well known family). Well they are engaged but only in name, neither loved each other, everyday she is just abusing the fact that she is his fiancée and in above everyone else other than the first prince, she treated him like trash, he somehow endured this for years until he had enough.

Her coming of age ceremony is a big party where she turns into an proper adult in her 16^th birthday, obviously inviting the prince for no suspicions and  for the party’s dance partner, after the dance the prince went to the balcony for some fresh air because of the never endless conversations with other nobles about certain topics, when a he saw a beautiful figure under the moon lit sky with countless stars. It was love at first sight and so do the heroin. He invites her for a dance which she gladly accepts, as they walk inside and started dancing as rosemary’s glare cut deep into their souls, ever since that day rosemary’s jealousy rose and rose since the prince keeps on inviting her into his mansion and communicate by letters as he broke the engagement shortly after the first interaction, their bond worsen as she also abuses the heroin when she had the chance.

She used a ton of dirty tricks to keep the heroin away even endangering her life at some point. At her 17^th birthday he had enough of it and killed Rosemary by assassination as nobody cared, except her family who loves her only for her title, just before she died, she learns all the heart breaking truth, she was confused, angry, scared. For the heroin and the first prince, the two happily married and lived a peaceful life after successfully convincing a lot of people. The story continues…

 

Back to our also confused and mad villainess.

Knock* Knock* “Milady please answer, it’s time for breakfast” A woman voice was heard behind the door, she was terrified and also confused. Usually the old Rosemary just ignored the servants and went for breakfast. Now no response. “Milady, are you okay? We heard scream before” one of the maid said with a worried tone.

“Is this on purpose? Milady is always on time and is very diligent and independent” Said a butler behind the two maids with a confused look as he checks his watch.

“Wahh sorry for not noticing you earlier, sir Alexander” Both maid said a little shocked.

“Sh*t, I forgot. I didn’t even realize. C-come in” I said in a pretty shocked voice.

“She is letting us in?!” One of the maid said.

“I-i-is she going to torture me to death?, just like that new maid…” The other maid said like she just saw ghost but it’s something worse.

“You two go back to the head maid, I’ll handle this” Said the butler comforting them.

“Thank you sir Alexander, we will notify the head maid if there’s a problem”

Alexander gave them a nod as he proceed to take a deep breath and open the door.

I was getting myself ready as I tidy up the bed to make it less messy, I fixed my hair and clotes.

I heard the door to my room open slowly as I quickly sat on the side of the bed.

“Milady please forgiv-“ He raised his right eyebrow and stopped.

“Milady you’re not prepared yet?” Said the confused butler.

“How rare…” He said again but in a very low voice, though i can still hear it.

"Who is this one hell of a handsome man? And he calls me Milady? Then it's true that i am now the villainess named Rosemary. So this man is my butler..." i said in my thoughts.

“Hahaha-, I overslept only” As I unconsciously scratch the back of my head with a fake smile.

He can’t believe what she just said, she didn’t bring up the topic of the maids that she will surely punish? Though so many thoughts ran his mind, he kept a normal expression and go on.

“Milady please get ready as the breakfast has been served” He gave a bow after finishing.

“Yes yes I will come, umm where is it again? I am still half asleep you see” I gave a fake yawn.

Now he is even more confused, well the mansion is indeed huge and someone inexperienced will definitely be disoriented, but how can she forget the dining room? She is the few people who know the mansion’s rooms location other than the owner of the house and the maids, the mansion belongs to the first prince from the royal family.

“I will accompany milady to the dining room, if milady wishes so”

“Then, excuse me. I will be waiting outside the room” He said politely.

He turns his back and face the door.

I stood up as I want to ask more questions. I have time anyway.

In the original story, Rosemary never had a personal butler or the plot didn’t mention one or doesn’t need the butler, since he is not playing any important major role of the story.

“What date is today?”

“It’s 15^th Janarury 978. Milady is there something wrong? Would you like me to call a doctor?”

“Huh? I’m fine really and don’t call a doctor. Thank you” I said with a fake smile. What is wrong with just asking a date, I mean people usually forget too right?

He can’t deny it since it’s an order, he wanted to keep on asking but since she said she is fine then it should be fine. And she said thank you?! what a miracle from the heavens.

“Huh the year 978.. Based on that I am currently 15 years old. I have 2 years to live before my guaranteed doom! Noooooooooooo” I screamed in my thoughts.

From the outside it looked like she is stressed by something as she roll her head back with both arms on her head.

“Then milady, I should wait for you outside” He turned back again and walk towards the door after giving a bow.

I still have a ton of questions, but let’s make my first encounter short.

“Wait, one more thing. Who- are you?” I asked seriously.
