Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Slime and Dealing With Hannah

The village was simple with stone houses that had ceramic roof tiles and plenty of windows, bustling with life and people. A lady was drying her clothes out of her window in the warm breeze a man was picking pears in the fields. The most notable thing however was the diversity in the village, there were people of different species walking on the streets, playing with their children, and selling their wares. 

Lily was impressed by the beautiful scenery around her, it was so claiming. She walked up to one of the women nearby, she was tall with black hair and scales on her body. 

Lily asked the woman, "Excuse me, ma'am, where is the nearest inn?"

"Ah, an inn, the nearest one should be down that street and to the left," replied the lady. 

"Thank you," said Lily as she started walking away. 

After walking for another minute Lily managed to find the inn that the lady had mentioned. It was a building slightly taller than the others, having three floors total and a tavern on the main floor. There was a sign above that was written in a language Lily didn't understand. The system gave her a message indicating to the sign that wrote: "Moonlit Tavern."

'Well that's convenient' Lily thought. She entered that building and noticed that the interior was quite spacious and had a bar at the end of the room, with a staircase next to it leading upwards.

She walked towards the bar and asked, "Would it be possible to get a room for the night?"

"Of course my dear patron, right this way." The man replied, nodding his head and grabbing a key from under the bar. He took Lily up two floors and unlocked a door.

"We have running water, heating, and comfortable lodging. One night's stay would be 2 silvers."

"Thank you, ill take it," she said, reaching into Hannah's bag and grabbing 2 silvers. The man grabbed the coins and quickly departed leaving the room for Lily to inspect. It was quite spacious and had a large enough bed with a bathroom and a window with a decent view of the stone village. Lily finally dropped the extremely heavy bag to the ground sighing heavily. 

She reached into the pocket she had left Hannah in and pulled out the strange-looking slime with dog ears. She had to say that it was quite cute looking. She placed Hannah on the bed and gave her a gentle kiss, sitting down next to her. Now that Lily had some time she might as well check on her status.

Lily clicked yes out of curiosity.

Lily was a little embarrassed because she knew how she got that class, but it was not a bad class and allowed her to gain skills. She changed her subclass to slime breeder. She felt something shift inside her. 

Since she was done with that and left 10 stat points just in case of emergency, she decided to see if she could look at Hannah's status. 

'Hmm, some skills I've never seen, wonder what they do.' Thought Lily. 

Lily was pondering the skills that Hannah had when suddenly she felt shuffling on the bed behind her. She noticed that Hannah was back to her human form and was blinking her eyes. 

"Hey," Lily said with a smile.

"Where are we?" asked Hannah. 

"After we well umm, did it, you passed out and I managed to find a small village."

"Oh," said Hannah simply.

"I'm sorry by the way. I didn't mean to make you do stuff like that, I shouldn't have."

"It's ok I really don't mind, w-we are together right?"

"Y-yeah of course," Lily said blushing. 

"I feel so different, it's strange. What happened to me exactly?"

"Well I couldn't bring you back to exactly how you were, there were some conditions, I suggest you look at your status."

"What? How can I do that without a status plate?"

"A what?"

"..." Hannah stared at Lily.

"..." Lily blushed slightly. "I just want to look at my status and then it appears I don’t know."

"Ok, I guess it's worth a try. Oh, it worked." Hannah said surprised. "So I'm a slime now? That's cool..."

"Sorry I couldn't do it any other way," Lily responded, sounding sad.

"It's ok I wasn't worried about that, I was just looking at my Class and the Submission skills."

Lily blushed again, she knew those were going to be a bit of an issue. 

"So you are my master now?" Hannah said, looking at Lily. 

"Not really, I wouldn't make you do stuff and I don't think of you as a slave, but technically yes," Replied Lily, as she hung her head down clearly sad about the whole thing. 

Hannah gave Lily a light peck on the lips, making Lily smile slightly.

"What was that for?"

"I didn't want to see my girlfriend sad. Come on, we're in a village now, we should have some fun, right? Let's go outside!" Said Hannah grabbing her coin purse from her bag and then pulling Lily towards the door. 

Lily on the other hand was in a daze. "G-girlfriends," she whispered to herself, not noticing the massive smile she had on her face.
