Title: My Son Might be a Villain
“Speaking of. Do you have a daughter, Mr. Lu?” She felt that usually older fathers would pamper their daughters more and drop them off and pick them up from school. As for sons, they could just be on their own.
“A son.”
“Oh, same as me then.” Su Ran smiled and asked, “What grade is your son?”
Su Ran also wanted to ask, How’s your kid’s grades? Where did he rank during mid-term? Is he good at basketball? Etc. etc.
She thought it through twice to herself that comparing is bad, comparing is bad before she was able to put aside the competitiveness of a parent.
“Freshmen.” Lu Shao paused, then went on. “Freshman year, Class 8.”
“Eh? Freshman year, Class 8? That’s the same as my Su…”
Su Ran was just about to tell him that her son was also in Class 8 when she was interrupted by her cellphone ringer. She pulled out her phone and saw that the call was from Yu LeLe's Studio. Su Ran was a bit surprised but she answered the call anyway.
“Pardon me. I need to take this call.”
“Hello, Manager Xu?”
“Instructor Su. We got bad news. We have an urgent situation here over at the studio!”
“What happened?” Su Ran, too, felt anxious after she heard the anxious tone from the other end of the phone.
“Well, we had planned on releasing one of the songs from LeLe’s upcoming album as a teaser and then… well, I’ll get into the details once you are here in person.”
Xu Xiao briefly mentioned the incident over the phone but did not get into too much detail. Nevertheless, that was sufficient to give Su Ran an idea of what was going on. She did not look happy.
“Okay. I understand. I’ll be right over.” Su Ran hung up after she said that.
“What’s the matter?” asked Lu Shao, concerned, when he saw the look on Su Ran.

Every other time that he had seen Instructor Su, she had always been mild and genial. This was the very first time he saw her like that. Infuriated and even somewhat aggressive.
Even when he met her the first time and she was being bothered that Gu guy, she didn't look like how she was right now.
Lu Shao was going to ask her if she needed any help when she said, “Oh, nothing much. Something work-related. We had run into some issues and I need to go take care of it.”
She had wanted to take her son to go check out the apartment, but now that would have to wait.
“Is it urgent? Would you like me to have my chauffeur take you there?”
Lu Shao’s car was parked right next to the school.
Su Ran glanced over at the car.
Ugh. Never mind. The car cost 8-digit and he still has to pick up the young master. She didn’t even know who that was.
Su Ran had added many of the parents during the parent-teacher conference a while back. She had been interacting with them occasionally as of late and had gotten more familiar with the parents, but she never noticed any of them being particularly wealthy.
Perhaps they were just not showy?
Not to mention that Lu Shao wasn’t even in the parent’s chat group.
Perhaps only the child’s mother was in the group, to be lowkey.
Last name’s Lu. How many kids have that last name in their class?
If the matters weren’t so urgent over at Yu LeLe's Studio, Su Ran would sit herself down and see if she could figure out who his child was, then she’d let her Su Han know not to get too close to the child and definitely not to go over to his place.
This Mr. Lu also lived in Dongshan Mansion. Su Ran didn’t want Su Han to run into any of the Song’s, especially the two children.
“Thank you for your offer, Mr. Lu, but I will be alright.” Su Ran declined Lu Shao’s kindness. The matters were of an urgent nature. Even though they were nearby, Su Ran painfully waved down a taxi to head toward Yu LeLe's Studio instead of saving money by walking over.
