Title: My Son Might be a Villain
“The first one, you say? Okay. The first one it is then.”
“Wait.” Su Han suddenly asked a very pragmatic question. “Do we have enough money for it?”
“I think so. I asked them to give me a quote for a unit on the 17th floor and, um, this is the amount.”
“17th?” A beam of light flashed through Su Han’s eyes and he mumbled.
“Yeah. 17thfloor. The salesgirl told me that the units on 17th, 19th, and 20th floor were the most expensive ones.”
For things that she didn’t know a lot about, Su Ran was a firm believer that price = quality.
“Oh.”
So that was it?
Just a coincident?
The light in Su Han’s eyes dimmed a little.
Without looking at Su Han, Su Ran enlarged the picture on her cellphone and carried on. “This is the cost of the first one that you’ve picked. Just a bit over $7 million. We have enough for down payment right now.”
Then there would be mortgage and cost for remodeling…
“Don’t worry. Mom will continue to work hard!” said Su Ran as she patted Su Han on his shoulder.
“Classmate Su Han, you are soon going to be a Second Generation Homeowner. Would you like to share with us how you feel right now?” When she turned and saw Su Han blanking out, looking like he was very worried about the future living, Su Han sighed inwardly and tried to lighten up the mood.
Su Han: I dare not think about anything at all.
“If we don’t have that much money, perhaps we should forego buying an apartment for now?”
“Not buying the place anymore?” asked Su Ran with a frown.
As much as Su Han was excited about owning their own place, Su Han didn’t want Su Ran to have to be too stress out over money.
As a junior high school student, Su Han did not pay too much attention to what was going on on the web today and didn’t know that Su Ran had rushed over to Yu LeLe's Studio because of the plagiarism scandal.
He thought Su Ran worked late to make more money.
Thinking that this woman might be gone a lot of nights in the future, Su Han suddenly didn’t want the apartment all that much anymore.
He didn’t want Su Ran to go back to her old profession for the sake of making money.
Even if Su Han had faith that Su Ran would never go back to doing what she used to do, but coming home late like she did today also pose certain amount of danger.
Especially when she was such a beautiful woman.
Su Ran didn’t notice it herself. But quite a few men had stealthily looked at her skittishly on their walk back. Su Han had either blocked them or stared back at them directly.

“Wait, son. Stay there. Don’t move!”
As Su Han was seriously considering about Su Ran’s safety issue, he was almost startled by Su Ran.
“What is it?”
“Don’t move. Just stay how you are right now. I want to take a picture of you!” said Su Ran excitedly.
Su Ran had no idea what was going through Su Han’s mind earlier that had prompted such a serious look on him. But, the truth was, the sophisticated and adult look on him made him looked quite attractive.
Especially his side profile!
A Picture! She must have a picture of him like that!
Even though Su Ran had already taken a few pictures of Su Han during his basketball game last time, but she was sitting quite far away and he was running around on the field, all of those pictures were blurry. Nothing like how it was right now.
Plus, truthfully, the color of their team shirt was quite ugly.
The act of Su Ran pulling out her cellphone ruined Su Han’s handsome look in one second or less.
“No pictures!” said Su Han as he quickly turned away.
Did kids nowadays all hate to have their pictures taken?
Su Ran was surprised at how quickly Su Han had dodged.
But Su Ran figured the answer out almost immediately.
She recalled the “mother and son outfit” photo posted to the parent’s chat group by Du WenTao’s mother.
His mother was probably the only one who failed to notice the reluctant look on Du WenTao’s face.
Suddenly, feeling like it was a bit too quiet next to him without Su Ran making her next move, Su Han couldn't help but turned and looked and saw that Su Han was already checking on her cellphone to see when the bus would be arriving.
Su Han: “……”
“What’s the matter?” Su Ran looked up and asked as she noticed that her son was looking at her.
“Didn’t you say you wanted to take a picture?” asked Su Han, still having a long face on him.
“Really?!”
“Just one. AND, you can’t make me look ugly on purpose! And no posting it to the parent’s chat group!”
Su Ran: Oh mi. How’s her son so cute?
“Don’t worry. It’s only for my own collection! Besides, my son is so handsome. There is no way I can make you look ugly in a picture.
“C’mon. I am going to snap it now.
“Don’t smile. Be cool. Like you were just a minute ago!”
