Title: My Son Might be a Villain
Did he say something wrong? He didn’t think so?
Right when Zhou Fu wiped away his cold sweater and was wrecking his head trying to figure out what he could possibly have said wrong he heard Lu Shao speaking in a very cold and very solemn voice, “That’s Su Han’s mother you are talking about.”
Zhou Fu: !
Wait! What was going on?
“You are dismissed,” said Lu Shao as he gave Zhou Fu a cold look. His attention had already turned back onto the document in his hand.
“Su Ran?” There was a hint of light in Lu Shao’s eyes when he saw the name on the document.
As he continued to read the document in front of him, his look became more and more complicated.
When “Su Ran” was banished from her family, the Su’s seemed to have purposefully tried to erase anything that had to do with her. That and Song ZeYu also tried to suppress the incident on that night.
As such, with the exception of those who knew about the incident, no bystanders would even know who Su Ran was, let alone what happened in the past.
But, this was the Lu’s. The Lu’s that was several folds the size of the Sung’s.
As far as the Lu’s was concerned, digging up the past was no more difficult than a walk in the park.
Right now, the document in Lu Shao’s hand included not only the information on the young miss of the Su’s from her childhood all the way into her adulthood, it also detailed the messy relationships between Su Ran, Song ZeYu, Lin XingEr, and even Lu BoYang.
It had, naturally, included everything that Su Ran had done after that.
Every single word in the report pricked at Lu Shao like a needle.
Loan shark?
Working at a night club?
Escort for customers?
Accompanying the customers outside of the nightclub?!
Lu Shao’s eyes were like piercing swords and he was staring at the document in front of him intensely as he said those words out loud through gritted teeth.
The thick stack of documents in Lu Shao’s hand was about to be turned into pieces.
BANG!
A loud noise.
Zhou Fu, who was standing outside of the study, his eyes widened and he had on him a look of disbelief.
Was his boss… smashing things inside of the study??
If it wasn’t the continuous noises coming from the study, Zhou Fu would think he had imagined it.
All this because of the document?

How was that possible?
Zhou Fu reflexively denied that possibility.
Even if the information on Su Ran bothered even him when he first read them, there was no reason why his boss would have overreacted so.
Besides, Lu Shao was never one that was easily incited. Even if someone had upset him, the most he’d do was sneer.
Anyone who didn’t know his boss well enough would not even be able to tell that he was upset.
Let along completely losing control of his emotions.
Yes, losing control!
Zhou Fu felt that he had finally found the right term to describe the current Lu Shao.
His boss wasn’t even this angry when he was taking care of the side branch of the Lu’s way back when.
That was the part that Zhou Fu found the most baffling.
Was it because of the young master? He didn’t think so. Because of Su Ran? Entirely impossible.
“C’mon in.”
When Zhou Fu was still pondering about it all, Lu Shao’s deep and cold voice came from the study again.
When Zhou Fu entered while holding his breath, he saw the documents that were scattered all of the floor.
“Clean them up,” said Lu Xun with a deep voice.
At that moment, even someone who didn’t know Lu Shao very well could tell that he was very aggravated right now.
If Lu Shao didn’t have his head lowered and his eyes were hidden in the shadow, one could even see that his eyes were reddened.
“Ugh, yes, Sir,” said Zhou Fu as he quickly picked up all the paperwork in front of Zhou Fu.
When Zhou Fu picked up all of the papers and was about to take off, he could hear his boss talking behind him once again.
“I meant to clean all of these up.”
Zhou Fu, who felt like he was walking on a tightrope in mid-air, “?!”

T/N Rambling:
1. Okay, I probably shouldn’t say this but I just can’t help myself anymore. Is there no such thing as paperless in China? Why is everything still in hardcopy form??? In reality, shouldn’t Lu Shao have given Zhou Fu a call and, given the time of the day (night), Zhou Fu would have either emailed him the document as an attachment, or directed him to a cloud drive, or tell him where the encrypted USB drive was located along with its passcode?
And, for what I’d assume to be an obscene amount that they have paid the PI to look into Su Han mother and son, they have only provided them with some photos (hardcopies no doubt) and ONE printout of their report??!!! GAH!
This is mind blowing!
