Title: My Son Might be a Villain
Su Ran responded with a “you are welcome” and was about to put away her cellphone before another message came in unexpectedly.
Lu: You need to have a tent built during the Quality Development Outing?
Lu Shao only remembered about Quality Development Outing that had been mentioned to him previously by Zhou Fu when he read about the curriculum as provided by No. 7 High School tonight.
He had been wanting to talk to Su Ran about this but, as it was somewhat late, he had been hesitating as to whether it was a good time so he never sent his message out.
Now that Su Ran had messaged hi first, naturally Lu Shao copy pasted and sent over what he had edited and re-edited a few times.
“Eh?” Looking at the message from Lu Shao, Su Ran wondered over it for a couple of seconds, then typed in WeChat.
Su: Yeah. That’s what their class teacher said in the notification.
Oh right!
It had just occurred to Su Ran that Lu Shao was not in the chat group.
Su: Em, Mr. Lu, would you like to join the parent chat group for Su Han’s class?
Usually only one parent in a family joined the chat group. After all, the one in the group could always relay the information. Her situation with Lu Shao was slightly different.
Even though Su Ran had no idea how Lu Shao had learned about the Quality Development Outing but she figured that as he was Su Han’s birth father, he has the right to know about what was going on at Su Han’s school.
Lu: Okay.
Su: Give me a second. Let me add you.
After a little while, Lu Shao got a “Su had invited you to join Freshman Class 8 Parents’ Group” message.
Su: Okay. I’ve invited you. Teacher Wang shared the notification and details of the Quality Development Outing in the group earlier. See if you can find them. I’ll forward them to you if you can’t.
Su Ran was being very thoughtful and thorough. Little did she know that a much more detailed project proposal already laying in front of Lu Shao.
Inside the parent’s chat group.
This was the time when parents normally talked about the status of the students’ homework progress. All of the parents were baffled when they saw a new person being invited into the group.
Zhao JiaMing’s Mother: Eh? Who was just invited?
Wang LuCheng’s Mother: Is it a spam?
Zhao JiaMing’s Mother: I don’t think so. Everybody in the group are kids’ parents.
Teacher Wang: @Su Han’s Mother, did you just invite someone into our group?
Su Han’s Mother: Oh, pardon me, Teacher Wang. I forgot to give you a heads-up first. I just invited Su Han’s father into the group.
Wei YiMing’s Mother: Oh, Su Han’s father! Welcome there.
Wang LuCheng’s Mother: Welcome to the group.

On the other end of WeChat, Teacher Wang was still surprised at the wording of “Su Han’s Father”.
She seemed to recall that Su Han’s mother mentioning that they were a single-parent family.
As much as she was baffled, she maintained her professionalism and did not pry further.

“Ahahahahaha…” Su Ran, reading the group chat from her end of the cellphone, finally busted out laughing.
“What are you laughing at?” Su Han, sitting across from her, asked dubiously.
“You, ahahaha. No, this is too funny. Your father. Hahaha. Is so funny…. Ahem. Here, see for yourself.” Having said that, Su Ran pushed her cellphone in front of Su Han.
Su Han: …. $#*!
“I don’t know this person,” said Su Han quietly after he stared at the screen for a long while.
“Ahahaha. Me neither. Hahahaha…”
Su Ran laughed so hard that her stomach was hurting.
As for what was going on in the group, she was just going to resort to making herself scarce.
