Chapter 180 - "I will go get the tent." (3)

As soon as Du WenTao’s mother had finished talked, members of the fake “family of three” had three totally different reactions to what she had said.

Su Han: What the ….?!

Su Ran: This is a huge misunderstanding!

Lu Shao, “Thank you.”

“Ahahah, he was kidding. Actually……”

She gave Lu Shao a look that was difficult to interpret and, right when she was about to elaborate on it, she was interrupted by the sound coming from the stage signaling everyone to gather around.

“Ah, it’s time to gather up. Let’s go. During the start of school year ceremony, the area for Class 8 was quite up front.” As Zhou Qin talked, she also held Su Ran’s hand passionate as they squeezed toward the front of the crowd.

Lu Shao walked next to them the entire time and would block those who tried to squeeze over in Su Ran’s direction from time to time.

The group of them stopped at Class 8’s area.

Looking on the stage, the principal had already walked up to the temporary stage in casual clothes.

“Good morning, fellow parents, students, and teachers. I am very… “ As he was opening the event, the principal suddenly paused when he glanced down below the stage and caught sight of a familiar figure.

The principal looked nervous all of a sudden.

“Ahem, during this wonderful fall time…”

After his very long speech, he finally concluded with, “I hope that this Quality Development Outing will prove a big success for all!”

Everybody returned to their designated areas after the round of applause.

“This event will last two days and the first day was mainly basic camping events including setting up the tent, starting the fire, and gathering ingredients for our meals. The second day consists of competitions surrounding quality development. We will compete in teams and all events will award points,” said the class teacher in front.

“Next, I ask each team to send a representative to come and get an assigned team number.”

“Oh, drawing for a number. I can do that.” Du WenTao’s mother volunteered.

“Okay.”

“In addition, the school will be providing tents, cooking equipment, and ingredients for cooking. Cooking equipment and ingredients will be distributed to each class in a little while. We ask the parents and students to go pick up their tents at the resource distribution area on the right-hand side of the venue.”

“I’ll go get the tent,” said Su Ran after a little bit of thought since Du WenTao’s mother had gone to draw their number.

“Wait.” Su Ran was stopped by Lu Shao before she took off.

“I’ll go.”

“Uh, okay. Thanks.” Su Ran thought about it some more and gave him an appreciative smile.

Hearing that, Lu Shao’s lip curved upward.

“My pleasure.”

“Du WenTao, let’s go too.”

“Hah? We go too? I thought we are organizing our stuff over here.” Du WenTao, who was organizing their stuff was baffled.

“We can do that when we get back,” said Su Han as he stared intently at Lu Shao’s back, feeling competitive.

Shoot. It was just a tent, was it not? He would go with so that somebody wouldn’t feel that what he had done was a big deal.

“Du WenTao, you talk too much. Fine, I will just go without you!” Liu YangYang couldn’t stand it anymore and leaped up voluntarily. He then gave Su Han a flattering smile, “Keke. We can’t let Daddy Su do it on his own. I’ll go help out too!”

Su Han: Was that what he meant? This brain-dead person!

Besides, he was just “Uncle” a minute a go and now he had become “Daddy Su”? Who said his last name was Su?!

Su Han gave Liu YangYang a stare with a long face before he walked in the same direction that Lu Shao had gone.

“Oh, c’mon now, Han-ge. Wait for me!

“Su Han’s personality is quite similar to that of his father, huh?”

Zhou Qin had returned by now and started helping with the organizing.

Looking at the “cold face father and son” duo returning with the tent, she said casually.

As for Liu YangYang who was walking behind the two empty-handed.

Hum… his aura was so insignificant that he could basically be disregarded.
