Chapter 183 - "When you say the Lu's, you mean..." (3)
The two behind Su Han came up to him.
“Han-ge. Whatever did Daddy Su meant by that?”
“He doesn’t mean we have to build out own tent, does it?”
“No way! I didn’t get it at all!”
“To tell you the truth, I didn’t either.”
“Can I apply to stay in the same tent as Daddy Su? I feel that he won’t mind.”
But I will look down on you.
Thought Su Han as he gave Liu YangYang a stare.
“Stop with the nonsense and get crackin’ at the tent already,” said Su Han to the two boys behind him with a long face.
How dare that old man looked down on him!

Over on this end, Su Ran gave Lu Shao an appreciative look when she saw him walking over to her.
“Thank you so much.”
She didn’t blame Du WenTao’s mother having scores as the only thing in her mind. When Su Ran saw Lu Shao, she, too, thought that her team would for sure score the highest points.
“My pleasure.
“I have double checked the tent in the middle. It is all good. Anything you need help with bringing inside of it?” asked Lu Shao.
“Ugh. No need, no need. Just some clothes and some small items. I packed them with Su Han’s. I’ll organize them after Su Han’s side is ready,” replied Su Ran.
Hearing that, Lu Shao nodded seriously.
“Okay, let me know when you need help with moving them later then.”
Su Ran nodded randomly as she thought that she could just have Su Han help her with them when he was done.
She felt bad enough having him help with the tents. How could she bug him again?

“Em. You’ve worked hard. Have some water.”
Su Ran pulled up the thermos from her bag and poured Lu Shao a glass of water.
“Thank you,” said Lu Shao as he sat down on the chair next to Su Ran.
As for Su Ran, she had already turned all of her attention to her son who was not too far away.
Looking at the teenager seriously trying to put the tent together, a smile appeared on Su Ran. She pulled out her cellphone and took a picture of it.
Except that…
Looking at the way the young man was frowning in the picture, Su Ran couldn't help but thought to herself: Why did the tent look so complicated? It seemed so straight forward when Lu Shao was putting it together earlier.
As though reading the question in Su Ran’s mind, Lu Shao explained next to her. “As our family had been around for hundreds of years, the Lu’s ancestor did not want to see our accomplishments ended up in others’ hands. As such, those from the Lu’s would acquire a lot of skills since childhood. And that included all sorts of survival skills.”
Was that so?
Su Ran paused a little when she heard Lu Shao’s words.
Suddenly, something crossed her mind and Su Ran had another question.
“Mr. Lu.”
“Hmm?”
“The Lu’s that you mentioned, is it the…
“One that has a big family business?” Su Ran couldn't help but asked.
It had dawned on her that there weren’t a lot of Lu’s being mentioned in the original novel plus Dongshan Mansion was where she had first met Lu Shao.
That reminded her of Lu BoYang, the second male lead in the original novel.
Truth was, Su Ran had researched on the internet before. Unfortunately, she found nothing on Lu Shao. Granted, nor did she find anything on the family behind Lu BoYang.
Could there really be such a coincidence?
Su Ran tightened her slips as she wondered about it.
Even though she had been telling herself that: Having transmigrated over here, the world that she was encountering was much bigger than the one described in the original novel. There were many Lu’s all over and that Su Han’s birth father would not so happen to be someone related to the second male lead.
That being said, she still felt unsettled deep down inside.
