Chapter 192 - "Would Daddy Su Han like to join too?" (2)

“Aye, I wish the duration of school activities such as Quality Development Outing can be longer,” said Zhou Qin when she was having breakfast.

She seemed to feel regretful that she was only able to bring with her one to two sets of mother-and-son outfits. She would otherwise have bought a few more including ones that were simple, classy, and poise like Su Han’s family’s set.

“That being said. I have a lot of free time on hand. I assume Daddy and Mommy Su Han are busy people?” asked Zhou Qin as though something had just occurred to her.

After all, most of the school year was over being the two of them had showed up once or twice.

“Not too busy,” said Su Ran.

“I’m not too busy lately,” said Lu Shao as well.

“Oh, I see. No wonder you have time to attend this activity with Su Han.” Zhou Qin paused and said, “Truth is, these are very meaningful activities that the school has put together. Even I wish I have time to attend to more of them.

“Oh, right, Daddy and Mommy Su Han, do you two work out of town as well?” Zhou Qin figured that Su Han’s parents had always been so busy in the past so very likely that they, too, were in similar situations like Liu YangYang’s parents.

“Yes, most of my family’s businesses are in Europe and Country E. Most of the ones in China are from earlier times or those that had been passed down,” said Lu Shao as he gave Su Han a look.

He was partly saying this to him.

It was, nevertheless, not the time to go into any details with him just yet.

The few of them chatted for a bit longer at the camping area before they were notified to gather around at a different location.

“Our activities this morning will mainly be Quality Development Outing related competitions. There will be five different events and they will be team events. Each team will decide on who to send to each event basing on the number of team members needed for each event. The winner of each event will receive 10 points, and second winner receive… so on and so forth.”

As the dean was announcing the rules of the events today, Su Ran was paying particular attention off stage.

“Wow, these events today give so many points,” said Mother Du WenTao to Su Ran.

The points for yesterday’s camping experience events yesterday had a wider range and tent-building, the most difficult event of the day, awarded only 10 points.

“Right?” Su Ran nodded.

Looking around them, all of the other parents were also talking about it actively.

After all, the combined total from this Quality Development Outing will be added to the quality development points at the end of the semester. It was not to be taken lightly.

“Of course, I must add that the main focus on all of the events is the participation in them. Your experience should come before the competition.” The dean carried on with a smile. “I am now going to announce the rules of the first event.

“The first event is a throwing competition. The rules are very simple. We will have three members from each team participating in this event. First of all…

“The competition will begin in 10 minutes and you can start deciding on your team members now. Safety is always number one during a competition so, once again, I urge all students and parents to properly don their safety gears.”

After the dean was done talking, everybody started getting ready for the event.

“If they only need three to particular, how about the three of you?” said Su Ran as she looked at the three teenage boys.

A throwing event was very similar to basketball. All they needed to do was to toss the ball into a basket.

Su Ran seemed to recall from the time when she attended Class No. 8’s basketball that Du WenTao, albeit not the best in shooting, was very agile and could run very fast.

As for Liu YangYang, he was only on the court briefly, so Su Ran couldn’t really opine on him.

She assumed that boys nowadays were all good in basketball.

Lo and behold, as soon as she was done saying it, all three of them shook their heads at the same time.

“Not him!”

“Not him!”

“Not I!”

The three of them said almost simultaneously.
