Chapter 201 - Su Ran was devastated when she walked out of the housing office. (3)
“Alright, aliright. I am almost done.” Seeing that Su Han was waiting for her impatiently by the door, Su Ran finally put away her cellphone, stood up, put on her jacket and got ready to leave.
Nevertheless, before she put away her cellphone, Su Ran took a couple more looks at the webpage.
“I am ready,” said Su Ran at Su Han.
Su Han was a little stumped by the woman walking toward him dressed up very “formally”.
Su Han couldn’t remember what she used to look like with makeup on. He only recalled that she rarely had makeup on ever since his return.
Even when she attended the parent-teacher conference or the Quality Development Outing, she only had very light makeup on.
The kind that Su Han couldn’t tell any difference whether she had not had them.
Seeing her delicate makeup all of a sudden, Su Han was caught off guard all of a sudden. He even felt that it looked somewhat nice.
“You are dressed much more official than I,” said Su Han disgruntledly after giving her a look.
“I’m a woman and you are a boy. I am, after all, more delicate and prettier than you. Isn’t that the natural way things are?” Su Ran gave her son sideway look and said very matter-of-factly. Then, lifting the corners of her mouth, she said, “Okay, let’s go.”
“Mmm,” said Su Han and walked out of the door before Su Ran.
There seemed to be a hint of barely noticeable smile on his face.
“Wait. Slow down. Why are you walking so fast?”
“You didn’t need to wear heels. You are walking too slowly.” Having said that, the teenage boy walking in front slowed down nevertheless.

Su Ran and Su Han arrived at the sales office of Lucky District shortly.
The salesgirl met up with the two of them very enthusiastically when they showed up.
“Ah, this must be the son that you had mentioned previously, right, Ms. Su?”
“That’s right.” Su Ran smiled and nodded.
“He is a handsome one,” said the salesgirl with a smile as she showed them into the office.
“Have a seat.”

“Thank you. I called earlier.”
“Right. A few customers came and they quite liked floorplan #2 on the 17thfloor that you had looked at previously. But we reserved it for you as soon as we received your call,” said the salesgirl with utmost sincerity.
Nobody would know if she was telling the truth.
Su Ran, nevertheless, was quite happy that the apartment that she had her eyes on was still available.
“That’s great. Can I put down the down payment today?”
“Of course. In addition, even though the contract listed the completion date as December but, as this phase of our apartments have already been completed and all of the amenities had passed their evaluations, you will be able to receive your key sooner.
“If you like, you can have the key today and start with the remodeling.”
“Really?” Su Ran’s eyes beamed. “That’s great news.”
If that’s the case and they can start remodeling immediately, Su Han just might be able to commute to school from their new home next semester.
“Let’s sign the contract first then.”
“Alright.”
They waited for a little while and the salesgirl walked over with three copies of the contract.
There were four thick booklets and Su Ran was very baffled by them.
“This page, start from filling this part out.”
“Um, okay.”
She filled out the parts that were pointed out to her by the salesgirl, pressed down her thumb print and, finally, she chicly put down hers and Su Han’s name under property owners.
“What’s the matter, son?” asked Su Ran curiously when she turned and saw Su Han looking at her dubiously with his brows raised up high.
“I worry that you might sign my life away,” said Su Han.
Who signed contracts like that? She didn’t even pay the wordings any attention.
Hearing that, Su Ran couldn't help but busted out laughing.
“Tsk tsk, don’t worry. I have already looked up the pointers online ahead of time. There are only a few spots that you need to pay particular attention to. The rest are all stocked. It is fine.” Su Ran explained.
