Chapter 292 - "We are going shopping." (3)
#The Song family put pressure on the Su family over some private matters back in the days, forcing the Su family to head overseas. Su Ran, daughter of the Su family, was lost during the move.#
See? How eye-catching was that? They even had the title for the public opinion all ready.
They would place all the blame onto the Su family and they would be able to take their first step in City B using the Song family as a boost.
In the original plan, Su Ran was just a very small part of it.
Now, because of the ties to the Lu family, they would need to take the Lu family’s attitude and possible consequences into the account if they were to throw Su Ran into the mix.
Shu Jianyang smiled when he heard that.
“We should modify that some.”
“That being said.” Shu Jianyang carried on after a pause, “Su Ran, what the Su family needs to bring back, should be brought back.”
If taking Su Ran back would allow them to establish ties with the Lu family, that was certainly great news.
“As for that @rd child……” Shu Jianyang looked down and a dangerous glow flashed past his eyes.

On the other end, Su Han, who was sitting in his classroom, had no idea that he had just become a target.
Looking Liu Yangyang, who was standing in front of him fawning over him, Su Han curved his lips and nonchalantly handed in his homework assignments over the holidays over to their class lead.
“Brother Han! You can’t do that! For realz you are not going to let me copy your homework??” Liu Yangyang plunged into desperation as he watched the class lead took the homework assignments with him.
“Liu Yangyang, quit with the clowning around. Hurry up and turn in yours,” said the class lead as he rolled his eyes at Liu Yangyang.
“Wait! Give me two minutes. No, one class’s time. I promise I will turn it in at the end f this class!”
“Okay hurry up. I will be turning these in after this next class.”
“Okay!”

“Psst,” Du WenTao sneered as he looked at Liu Yangyang, who had dashed back to his seat. Nudging Su Han, he said, “I say he won’t even be able to finish it by the end of the day. What do you think?”
Su Han did not respond to him directly but he had an I-agree-with-you look on him.
“Oh, right!” Something occurred to Du WenTao, and he said, “Are you free this afternoon? My mom bought a all-you-can-eat barbeque from before. She had forgotten about it but I found it when I logged into the account. Kekeke. What say we go get skewers this afternoon?”
“Skewers?”
“Yeah. I took a look at it. It wasn’t far. It was right over by my house.”
Du WenTao then added, “Consider this the last celebration of the year.”
Su Han’s eyes flickered a little when he heard that.

“No,” said Su Han.
“Huh? Why not? You have plans after school?” Du WenTao was surprised that Su Han had declined him.
He saw that Su Han had a long face and a very complicated look.
“Something like that,” said Su Han stiffly.
What could he possibly have going on after school?
Other than the fact that the Lu guy wouldn’t let him wander around after school……
Su Han narrowed his eyes, displeased.
He was being respectful to the Lu guy, he just didn’t want him to take the opportunity to tell on him to Su Ran was all.
“Then…… tomorrow?”
Without answering Du WenTao’s question, Su Han nonchalantly changed the subject. Looking at Du WenTao, he asked, “You have your phone with you?”
“Huh? Yeah, I do. What is it? You want to play a round before class?” asked Du WenTao, his eyes beaming.
“You are overthinking this.”
“Let me borrow it.”
“Oh.”
He had no idea why Su Han was asking but Du WenTao still fished out his phone, unlocked it, and handed it over.
Then, as he watched, Su Han had nonchalantly downloaded a video app, using his data, and clicked into one of the top reality television shows on the front page and voted for No. 3, Su Ran.
And that was not the end of it.
After he had voted, a message popped up on the phone: Register now and get 5 extra votes for your favorite candidates.
Du WenTao had a bad feeling all of a sudden.
“Su Han, don’t you……”
Du WenTao was just about to stop him when Su Han had already skillfully registered him a member.
“Blink.”
“Oh.” Du WenTao reflexively blinked at his own phone.
And, the very next second, money was successfully deducted from his account.
Du WenTao, “!”
Was he just scammed by his deskmate?!
