Chapter 301 - I booked rooms at the hot spring hotel in the suburb. Two rooms. (1)
By now, the development had already digressed completely from the original novel. As such, Su Ran had no idea why the Su family returned so much earlier than they did in the original novel. However, there was one thing she could be certain of.
And that was: The Su family, having “developed” for so many years overseas, would only consider returning to the domestic market because they were desperate.
They would not otherwise have gone above and beyond looking for Su Ran’s son, who was already a big villain by then, in the original novel.
Su Jianguo was completely enraged after hearing Su Ran’s words.
“Su Ran!”
“You should stop while you are ahead!” said Su Jianguo as he stood up and stared angrily at Su Ran through gritted teeth.
“You are just a ‘so-called’ Madam of the Lu family. Do you think they will really care about you over time?” Staring at Su Ran, a cold look flashed through Su Jianguo’s eyes. Narrowing his eyes, he said, “The Su family might not be as strong as it once was, but the Su family is still the Su family. It would befit you to not go against us.”
“Tsk.”
Su Ran just smiled lightly in light of Su Jianguo’s threat. Her look couldn’t be more contemptuous.
Who was Su Ran? She was, after all, a well-respected master in music in her previous life.
She wasn’t some powerful family but, as someone of mastery-level in her expertise, Su Ran still was able to live a carefree life.
At least, from where she stood in her circle, she didn’t really need to watch out for anyone.
Ever since her transmigration, the only people that Su Ran worried about was Song ZeYu, Lin XingEr and their family members with their halos.
Now that the family had also gone offline, Su Ran worried about nothing.
As for the Su family, they weren’t even worth her time.
In the original novel, had the Su family not attached themselves to the Sung family, her villain son could easily squash them with one finger.
“If the Su family wish to become strong again, I strongly suggest you to go about it the right way instead of trying things. As for me, please stop bothering me.” Having said that, Su Ran got up and got ready to leave.

The relationship between the Su family and the original owner had been severed the moment she was banished. As for herself, she had never had anything to do with them. Su Ran only agreed to meeting up with her Third Uncle to tell them to give up on any silly thought.
Their paths should not cross again in the future.
Unfortunately, that might be Su Ran’s thoughts but Su Jianguo still thought he had leverage over her.
“Su Ran! You stay right where you are!” said Su Jianguo as he tried to grab Su Ran.
“What do you think you are doing?”
Suddenly, a voice that still has a hint of youth in it but was already intimidating rang.
Su Ran was very surprised when she saw Su Han walking over to her.
Before Su Ran could recover from the that-was-my-son-right-and-why-is-my-son-hereshock, Su Han had already walked over and stood in front of her, shielding her.
“What did you think you were doing?” said Su Han sternly through gritted teeth as he stared at the man in front of him, alarmed.
Su Jianguo, too, was surprised at the appearance of Su Han.
Looking at the teenage boy that was standing in front of Su Ran in a protective way, Su Jianguo’s eyes dimmed a little and something occurred to him.
“So, this is that son of yours, huh?” Su Jianguo glanced over at Su Ran and snickered.
Su Jianguo had made up his mind that if Su Ran would not cooperate with them, then her @rd child that came from god knows where would be their last resort.
Lo and behold, he showed up all by himself just like that. That surely made things much easier for them.
Hearing what Su Jianguo had said and that he had figured out who Su Han was, Su Ran frowned immediately and a hint of alarm and nervousness appeared on her.
Giving Su Jianguo a look, Su Ran said nothing but turned and left, dragging her son with her.
The Su family did not bother her but she did not want her son to have anything to do with them.
As much as the story had already deviated so much from the original plot, Su Han running into the Su family was still bad news.
