Chapter 336 - Su Ran was too busy sharing photos to her friend's circle to notice the pointed “exchange” between the father and son. (3)

Lu Shao looked at Su Ran and asked, “Where do you want to go tonight?”

As soon as he had said that and before Su Ran could even respond, Su Han, next to him, acted like a protective shield had been propped up and he stared at Lu Shao, alarmed.

“Mom, I haven’t done my homework yet.”

“Hmm? Your homework……” Su Ran looked at her son and was just about to say, but aren’t you always very fast with your homework?

As though reading Su Ran’s mind, Su Han quickly added, “There’s more homework today than usual.”

“Is that so?” As soon as Su Ran heard that Su Han had a lot of homework, worried-bee mother Su Ran came instantly. “Why didn’t you say so sooner?”

They had wasted so much time already.

“I can get it done,” said Su Han as he saw the solemn look on Su Ran. Pausing, he added, “If we head home right now.”

Giving her son a look, Su Ran looked over at Lu Shao and said, “Can you take us home now?”

“Okay,” Lu Shao nodded without hesitation.

When the three was taking off from the new apartment, however, Lu Shao gave Su Han a cold glance.

Couldn’t finish your homework, huh?

Perhaps he should give their principal a call and let them know that their students could use more homework.

“What you looking at me for?” Su Han stared back at Lu Shao, not appearing weak in front of him and said in a deep voice, “I know what you are thinking. Don’t even think about it!”

“Is that so?” Lu Shao raised his brows when he heard that.

Narrowing his eyes, and looking at Su Han, Lu Shao said, “In that case, what do you think I am thinking?”

“Hrm, you know what you are thinking.” Su Han sneered and looked away.

Lu Shao chuckled lightly when he heard Su Han.

“I had dinner plans for our family of three, seafood.” Lu Shao placed specific emphasis on the last word.

He glanced over at Su Han and then said, “But, if you would rather go home to your homework, so be it.”

“You!”

Su Han highly suspected that Lu Shao did that on purpose. Everyone knew that Su Ran loved seafood, especially shellfish……

“Who knows if you are telling the truth?” said Su Han in a low voice as he frowned and lowered his eyes.

Lu Shao did not say any more after hearing Su Han’s grumble.

Glancing over at Su Han, Lu Shao suddenly looked solemn.

“You know a lot at your age and will be curious about many things. That is normal. However, I hope that you can focus most of your energy on your schoolwork.”

Pausing, Lu Shao added, “I will inform you about certain things when the time is right.”

Upon hearing that, Su Han figured out what Lu Shao was talking about. The look on him turned peculiar.

“That wasn’t what I was thinking about!” He rebutted him reflexively.

He wasn’t like Du WenTao who thought about suggestive things day in and day out. He did not think about things like that!

Having said that, Su Han glanced over at Lu Shao and said added in a low voice. “You made it sound like you know so much.”

Lu Shao, “……”

Su Ran, walking in front of them and focusing on posting to her friend's circle, missed all the “back and forth” and “exchanges” between the father and son.

She only didn’t bump into anything on her way to the parking lot because the two behind her had course corrected her from time to time.

As Classmate Su Xiao Han had “lots of” homework, the feast for the night had been called off.

“Then……” Su Ran looked at Lu Shao hesitantly after she had got out of the car.

“Where can I park?”

“Uh, over there. There should be a parking lot there if you exit this way,” said Su Ran.

“Okay.” Lu Shao nodded, and added, “You two head upstairs first.”

“Mmm, okay.”

“Why is he coming to our place?” Su Han grumbled with slight discontent after Su Ran and him had gotten upstairs. He didn’t look too unhappy; more like troubled.

“He’s your father,” said Su Ran, finding it comical as she looked at her awkward son.

“I know,” said Su Han dully. Then added in a low voice, “I would not have put up with him this entire time if that wasn’t the case……”
