Chapter 350 - “I am fine with anything that you like.” (2)
As Su Ran thought about that in her mind, something occurred to her all of a sudden and she turned and looked over at Lu Shao.
Sure enough, Lu Shao looked very certain right now.
“Em…… Do you think a 1.8-meter bed would be too crammed in the room?” asked Su Ran after she had covered up the awkwardness that she was feeling.
“No, I’ve measured it out. It will fit,” said Lu Shao very definitely with the corners of his lips raised. For the first time, Lu Shao made the decision on the 1.8 meter bed before Su Ran could reject to it.
That ought to show how unhappy Mr. Lu was for not being to stay over at their crappy little apartment that night.
Looking at the determination on Lu Shao, Su Ran’s lips twitched then, sighing to herself, she thought: Nevermind. Let him have this one.
All of the furniture that Su Ran had picked out were ready made. As such, with the exception of the few big items, the rest was delivered on the same day.
Wanting to move into her new place right away was a very small part of the reasons why Su Ran decided on ready-made furniture.
More of it was because Su Ran had read on many online forums that the furniture that was in Furniture City’s showroom very well might have better quality than something custom ordered later on. Also, as they had been sitting around for longer, one would have less of an issue with formaldehyde.
In addition, appliances could be installed quickly.
At this rate, they would be able to move into their new home before Su Han’s final examinations.
That way, Su Han would have more time to study when his commute time had been decreased greatly.
Su Ran never felt that time is money when she was a student. Now that she was a parent, she was much more concerned about her son’s academia.
As they had to go home and wait for the furniture to be delivered, the three of them did not spend too much time at Furniture City. Lu Shao brought the two back home in his car once everything had been bought.
Su Ran couldn’t wait to get onto XBo when they were on their way back.
Even though Su Ran already had many items added into her shopping cart from the past but, she hadn’t decided on the furniture yet back then and many of the decors were moot.
Now that she had an idea, she could finally start the process of buy, buy, buy.
“Eh, this one wasn’t bad,” said Su Ran all of a sudden as her eyes lit up.
“What is it?” Su Han, from the back seat, couldn't help but asked when he saw the excitement on Su Ran.
“This one.” Su Ran turned around and showed Su Han her cellphone as she blinked at him and said in a gloating tone, “What do you think? Match our décor perfectly, right?” And, it offered Double-11 discount as well!
Su Han was much calmer when compared to Su Ran’s excitement.
“A body pillow?”
Su Han raised his brows and was speechless.
It was just a mediocre-looking body pillow. Su Han had no idea what she was so excited about.

Here he was wondering what it was that caught her attention……
“No good?” Su Ran frowned a little and asked when she saw the resentment on her son’s face.
“Well, not exactly.” Being stared at by Su Ran, Su Han said in a low voice. Then, pausing a little, he added, “But, you can find something like that at the grocery stores too.
“Why do you need to look for them online….” Su Han grumbled in a low voice.
Mainly, he didn’t get what it was that this woman found excitement.
“That’s not the same. The grocery stores have very limited choices. There are way more selections online,” said Su Ran disgruntledly. “Besides, don’t you think this one is amazing looking?”
Su Han, Not really.
“It’s alright.”
Su Ran smiled after hearing what her son said.
“Oh right, there are bedding sets as well. I’ve saved a few of them from before. They are very pretty. Let me show you.”
Having said that, Su Ran brought up the beddings that she had added previous and showed them to Su Han, “What do you think?”
“They are alright,” said Su Han casually after he glanced over the beddings on Su Ran’s cellphone.
He felt that the ones in the grocery stores were better looking. At least they were less busy.
Just alright?
Su Ran pulled her phone back and took a look at the pictures of the products.
Such amazing and unique designs and Su Han said they were just alright?
Su Ran was very certain that her son couldn’t tell what’s pretty from what’s not.
Giving her son another resentful glance, Su Ran turned away.
“What do you think, Daddy Su Han?” asked Su Ran as she showed Lu Shao her phone while he was stopped at a red light.
Su Ran really didn’t give it too much thought. All she was trying to do was to find someone on her side within the family.
Looking at the bedding on Su Ran’s cellphone, Lu Shao’s eyes flickered. His lips curved and contemplation crossed his eyes.
“Not bad,” said Mr. Lu, not believing in a word that just came out of himself.
Truth was, his taste was very similar to that of his son. They prefer something plainer and more along the line of cold colors.
After a slight pause, Lu Shao added, “I am fine with anything that you like.”
