Chapter 367 - Mr. Lu smiled tenderly when he looked at the sleeping woman. (3)

Back over to Su Han.

As they were at a nice place, he wasn’t very used to the new bed……

Alright, because of something else on his mind, Su Han wasn’t able to fall asleep a long time after he had retired to his room.

Nevertheless, he still had school the next day.

As such, Su Han, who had always been keeping to a very regular schedule, still got up early in the morning the next day.

What he didn’t expect was that Lu Shao had gotten up even early than he did.

He was already preparing breakfast and looked like he was almost done!

“Tsk! Fawning!” critiqued Su Han from behind him with an unhappy look after a contemptuous glare.

Back at their old apartment, Su Han was the one who’d make Su Ran’s breakfast also when he was making his own.

So what if they were just steamed buns or eggs. Those were still breakfast!

Looking at Lu Shao, Su Han suddenly had an inexplicable worry that he was about to be replaced!

“Why are you making sweet porridge so early in the morning?” said Su Han resentfully with his eyes narrowed.

Upon hearing that, Lu Shao turned around, gave Su Han a nonchalant look, and said, “What? You have a problem with that?”

“Matter of fact, yes! What would want sweet porridge for breakfast?” He looked resentfully at the… em, well, quite appealing pot of sweet porridge and said very affirmatively, “Besides, it’s porridge, not water down rice, why is it so watery?

“And.” Looking around the kitchen, Su Han added, “You burned the egg too.”

“So?” Lu Shao raised his brows and looked at Su Han.

“So? That’s carcinogenic.”

As Su Han talked, he frowned at Lu Shao’s nonchalant look and said, “What I said is true. From science perspective, when proteins are burnt, it will produce P1 and P2, these are carcinogenic substances!”

Looking at Su Han’s reason-is-on-my-side look, Su Han sneered suddenly. “Oh? Somebody had manned up,” said Lu Shao as he looked at Su Han with his brows raised. “You’ve learned to pick on me.”

“What do you mean pick on you? I don’t have the time to pick on you,” said Su Han as he gave Lu Shao a resentful look.

Pick on him?!

Why didn’t he just take a step back and see what he had done?!

Su Han gritted his teeth and thought to himself unhappily.

He would never admit that he was picking on Lu Shao.

“What is it then? Bantering?” asked Lu Shao as he snickered.

“Or, you just want to be heard?”

Welp, what the dad had said was definitely spot on.

As such, when Su Han heard Lu Shao’s words, he unleashed.

“I am not! I am stating the facts!” growled Su Han as he looked at Lu Shao.

The very next second, Lu Shao placed a plate of fried eggs and bread in Su Han’s hand.

“Look again closely, those are black pepper,” said Lu Shao coldly. Then, pausing, he added, “And, the porridge isn’t for you.”

“You!”

Upon hearing what Lu Shao’s words, Su Han looked at the two eggs on top of the plate reflexively.

Alright, so they weren’t burnt. Those were black pepper. They looked burned from a distance.

“That because of the way you sprinkled them. They always only sprinkle them over the yolk at restaurants. You sprinkled them over the egg white……” said Su Han.

His tone, however, sounded very lack of confidence.

Lu Shao pinched his lips shut a little when he heard him, unbothered by what Su Han had said.

Checking the time on his watch, Lu Shao frowned a little.

“Stop with the yakking. Hurry up and eat. I’ll drop you off school when you are done eating.”

Having said that, Lu Shao ignored Su Han and put on his own jacket.

“You?” Upon hearing that, Su Han widened his eyes and looked at Lu Shao.

He was going to drop him off at school?

Su Han wasn’t sure what to make of that. He was surprised at first, then felt resentful, then, in addition to the resentfulness, he didn’t seem to find the idea too overly unacceptable.

“No…..”

Before Su Han could finish saying “no need”, he was interrupted by Lu Shao.

“And, I have another advice for you.”

As he straightened up the sleeves of his suit jacket, Lu Shao gave Su Han a solemn look.

“You are going to grow up and become responsible for yourself, let it be your words or your actions.

“You need to learn to own up to your own behaviors and not to make judgements before learning all the facts. And,” Lu Shao stressed, “Not jump to quick conclusions.”

“You!”

As much as he knew that there was nothing wrong with what Lu Shao had said but the fact that he was lecturing him over his “picking on him” made Su Han unhappy.
