Chapter 370 - He noticed that Su Han seemed particularly serious today. (2)

Liu Yangyang was having all sorts of crazy thought when Du WenTao wrapped his elbow around his neck.

“What do you mean by crash? Is that how you call it?”

“You were staying over at my place for all one night and my mom steamed seafood and made chicken soup. She had you slept on my bed and me on the floor. She even let you wear my brand-new sleepwear. You tell me you were ‘crashing’?” Du WenTao retorted at Liu Yangyang with a displeased look.

“Didn’t you have the seafood and chicken soup too? I think you should be thanking me for that. Besides,” Liu Yangyang gave Du WenTao a gloomy look and said, “Do you dare say that your sleepwear was still brand-new because you absolutely refused to wear it?”

Liu Yangyang’s eyes were still hurting as he recalled the bizarre fuchsia set of sleepwear covered in faces of all pirated animation characters.

“That was still my mother’s strong love for you.”

As Du WenTao talked, he looked over at Su Han and something occurred to him.

“You moved to your new place?” asked Du WenTao.

He seemed to have heard from his mother that Su Han and his family would be moving somewhere close to the school this semester.

While they were talking about that, Mother Du also decided to take the opportunity to lecture Du WenTao. Her point was that even a valedictorian like Su Han knew to move closer to school to save time whereas they had always lived close to the school but she had never seen Du WenTao doing well on his examinations.

Su Han nodded when he heard then and then frowned a little.

“We stayed over at our new place temporarily last night,” said Su Han in a deep voice. Why was it that there was so much melancholy in his voice?

Hrm. Had he known, they were better off returning to their old place last night and had that somebody gone back to where he needed to be.

As though missing the unhappiness in Su Han’s eyes, Liu Yangyang and Du WenTao became very interested when they heard what Su Han had said.

“Well? How was it? How do you like the new place?”

Did he intend to invite them over for dinner or some sort of housewarming?

Before Liu Yangyang could even get his words out, he heard Su Han saying coolly, “It was alright.”

He would like it a lot more had it not been a certain somebody.

Finally picking up on the gloominess in Su Han’s voice, both Liu Yangyang and Du WenTao were baffled.

“What’s the matter, Su Han? Do you not like the place?” Du WenTao speculated.

With the exception of maybe his room’s décor was too loud by his parents sense of style and a torture to look at, Du WenTao couldn’t think of any other reasons why Su Han would be unhappy about it.

“You are overthinking it.” Having said that, Su Han gave Du WenTao a sympathetic look.

Did he think that everything had his mother’s bizarre taste?

Ahem, alright, even that woman like some loud things recently.

That being said, even those loud things were still better than the ones that Du WenTao’s mother liked.

Thought Su Han to himself in a very one-way-and-no-objection-allowed way.

“What is it then?” asked Du WenTao. He then added in a low voice. “Why do you look like someone own you 5 yuan, or 4.9 yuan?”

“Nothing,” said Su Han coldly.

The next second, Su Han frowned and looked at his deskmate.

“Say……”

“What?”

“What would you do with someone that you are fond of?” asked Su Han in a deep voice.

“Someone that I am fond of?” Du WenTao responded to Su Han’s question without missing a beat. “Lots of things. Pick her up from school, buy her gifts, bring her breakfast, help her prepare for her phys ed tests……”

“That’s all?” Su Han frowned when he heard what Du WenTao was saying.

“Anything deeper, ahem, I mean beyond that?”

“Beyond that?” Du WenTao’s face lit up when he heard that.

“Keke, of course something beyond that. Like take the girl out to a movie and night and kiss her inside the theater, or go over to her place when her folks are out, etc…..” Looking around to make sure that the teacher had not yet arrived and he was safe, Du WenTao lowered his voice and said with the smile of an “experienced” person.
