Chapter 43 - Selling Her Music (1)

Even though she had promised to go back for another lesson the day before, Su Ran still called Wu-ma the next day to take the day off because she had received a call from Shengding Entertainment.

They didn’t bother calling her on a weekday but have her go into their office on a Sunday? That was unheard of.

For that, Su Ran even looked up the number online to make sure that the call was legitimate.

“You are going out?” Su Han, who had been stealthily watching Sun Ran packing up for half a day from the couch, finally couldn't help but ask.

“Yeah, to go earn our living expenses.

“Speaking of, there’s a lot of leftovers from our takeout yesterday. You can reheat them for lunch. If you don’t want any of those, I have left 200 yuan on the table. You can order some more take out,” said Su Ran.

She had only realized how silly she was when she was cleaning up the table last night. Welp, guess she’d have to have leftovers for today’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Su Ran really had no idea what to do with the fish, chicken, and shrimp that she had in the kitchen, so she finally gave them all away to Da Bao’s grandmother.

“To your piano lesson again?” As much as Su Han couldn’t believe it whether it was orally or in his mind, he was still very curious about the whole Su Ran teaching piano.

“Of course…. Not.” Su Ran smiled and said, “Today I am going to earn the tuition for your after-school programs!”

Hearing that, Su Han’s face frozen all of a sudden, and he turned away awkwardly.

“Who asked you to earn my tuition for after-school programs?” asked Su Han in a low voice.

“Besides, when have I ever said I wanted to attend after-school programs?”

“Hehe, okay, so you never said it,” said Su Ran casually. She gave Su Han an amused look.

“Say, Su Han…” Staring at Su Han, Su Ran suddenly asked with sparkling eyes, “How much do you want to be a Second Generation Rich?”

Albeit the fact that she was far from becoming a First Generation Rich given her current living standard and financial situation, but with the rate she had raked in money in her previous life, it was still very hopeful that Su Han could become Second Generation Rich before he became of age.

That might have been Su Ran’s thought progress, but not so much Su Han’s.

Hearing Su Ran’s words, Su Han frowned immediately and was somewhat baffled. Then, he suddenly recalled all the crazy gossips that he had heard from his fellow classmates. He seemed to have thought of something and his face dropped.

“I don’t need it!” Su Han stood up and shouted at Su Ran before he went inside of his bedroom and slammed his room door shut with a loud “BAM!”

What was this woman thinking? Did she want to go back to her old work? Or become the mistress of some rich man?

Regardless of which one it was, they all made Su Han very uncomfortable.

He called it. He knew there was no way this woman would have cleaned up her acts!

Su Han balled up his fists tightly and was angry just thinking about it.

Wait, why did he care about what this woman was doing? Second Generation Rich? He didn’t care for it. Nor would he use that woman’s money! He could earn his own money!

Su Han stared at the 30 yuan that he had crumbled up on the table and kept on telling himself that that woman has nothing to do with him.

Except that, deep down inside he was still concerned about her actions.
