Title: My Son Might be a Villain
Her tents! Her cooking equipment!
She even bartered with the shop owner to drop the price by 200 yuan and was about to place her order today, and now it was all for naught.
Su Ran was filled with the feelings of regret and her face dropped.
Over to her side, Su Han, who had no idea what was going through Su Ran’s mind, noticed that she looked very unhappy as she stared at her cellphone screen.
Her hand to her side was clenched into a fist; her eyes looking profound and she turned her head away from him stubbornly as though she didn’t want him to see the look on her right now.
“It’s fine if you don’t want to go,” said Su Han in a deep voice. It sounded throaty and stiff.
These activities were never all that meaningful anyway. Nor could he count on this woman to be able to contribute much.
Hearing Su Han’s voice, Su Ran, who was still reading the list of things to pay special attention to, widened her eyes.
I beg your pardon?
“Who said we are not going?”
Even without her deluxe tent or state-of-the-art cooking equipment, she still has a professional-level outdoor survival kit, cool trekking pole with built-in light, 3L-size thermos, and the newest style cameo mother and son matching outfit!
“Look, I’ve already signed us up.”
Su Ran showed Su Han her cellphone.
[Freshmen Class 8 Parents Chat Group]
Su Han’s Mother: @Teacher Wang. Sign us up for 2.
“It’s true…” Su Han’s eyes lit up when he saw what Su Ran had said within the parents’ chat group. Then, as though he had noticed that he had let too much show, he turned away coolly and pretended that he was looking at the scenery.
“Since you have signed up already. I guess we will go then,” said Su Han.
As a 13-year-old boy, no matter how steady and indifferent he was pretending to be, he was not able to hide the excitement and happiness in his eyes.
“But, it’s camping this time. Are you sure you can handle that?” asked Su Han again casually as he gave her a I-don’t-think-you-will-be-okay look.

And, there was real worry in the bottom of his eyes.
After all, Su Ran was the one who had turned porridge into burnt rice at home before.
Su Han wasn’t sure if he should worry for her or for himself.
Su Ran: Must he point that out?
Putting up the tent? She had studied a few different sites yesterday on highlights on camping. And one of them talked about putting up a tent. Su Ran spent time studying it.
Unfortunately, the steps were very complicated. She even asked the shop owner on Taobao and she was still confused.
And it didn’t look very easy to start a fire either.
As for cooking, hoho, that would depend on how kind were the ingredients provided by the school.
Su Ran turned her head casually to look over at Su Han.
He was just a tad shorter than her when she saw him a few weeks ago for the first time. Now he was already about the same height as her.
But, still a kid nonetheless. She couldn’t wait for her little boy to grow into a man.
“What are you looking at?” Su Ran’s stare made Su Han uncomfortable.
“Oh nothing. Just wondering when you are going to become the pillar of the family.”
“What do you mean by ‘when’? I already am, alright?” There was a hint of pride on the young man’s face as he said that.
“Oh yeah, you know how to put together a tent?”
“Yes.” He could look for some tutorial videos when they got home.
“What about starting a fire?”
“What’s so difficult about that?” What were lighters for?
“Cooking…” Um, okay, Su Han knew how to cook. Albeit just simple items like hard-boiled eggs, noodles, steamed buns that required no technique whatsoever.
“Oh, alright. It’s all on you then,” said Su Ran as she patted Su Han on his shoulder as though she was assigning him some great responsibilities.
