Here is the finished picture book. Please read it.
Mr. Lan was probably happy that his picture book was completed. He was smiling at me. Next to me, who had received the book, were Gaius, Shinomi, and Lilidh, who had come here with an interest in picture books.
The picture on the cover is of me on the Seafo.
Seafo is too big to come inside the house. When I go outside, I'll be the first to show it to you.
Still, it feels strange to think about it again. I can't believe that I am the main character in a picture book.
The title of the book is "A Girl, Lelunda: Meeting a Horseman. It is a picture book that even has my name in it. The illustration is also easily recognizable as mine. I am still a little embarrassed.
I turn the cover.
Then, the title page appears. The picture on the title page is almost the same as the one on the cover.
Gaius, Shinomi, and Lilidh are also looking at the picture book I am flipping through with great interest. Mr. Lan and the other adults are gently watching over us as we look intently at the picture book.
The next page is the main story, with a blank sheet of play paper in between.
There were two sisters in a certain place.
On the first page, only that sentence is shown. The illustration depicts two girls. I could imagine that the reason why the picture of the person who is probably the older sister looks a little like me is because the elf who drew the illustration doesn't actually know her sister. Because even though we are twins, my sister and I don't actually look alike at all.
The next page is a spread that separates "My sister was so beautiful and loved," and "My sister lived in her shadow." The next page is a spread page separated by "My sister and I were so beautifully loved," and "My sister lived in the shadow. My sister and I are drawn as a pair, as if we were daring to be opposite. In the illustration, people are gathered around my sister. In contrast, I am quietly spending my time alone. This situation is depicted symmetrically on the facing page.
I turned the page.
The scene in which the priest appears at the house was described: "The life of a girl who had been living quietly was changed by the visit of the priest. There is no description of her mother yelling at her like in real life. It is really brief and descriptive. The girl's life changes, the priest's visit, and that took up two pages.
The priestess is the one who is loved by God.
The godchild is one who is loved by God and blessed by the world.
The land where the Son resides will prosper, and God will not allow it to fall into ruin.
The God-beloved one, that is you!
The illustration shows a man in priestly garb saying this to his sister. In the lower left corner of the illustration, a sentence is added: "How dare you call my sister a godchild! It is also described in a spread.
Turn to the next page.
My parents were overjoyed to hear that my sister was a godchild.
The parents and the elder sister rejoicing. I do not see myself in the picture book in this circle.
On the next page, there is a sentence: "And the girl who lived in the shadows was abandoned.
The illustration depicts me thrown out into the forest. The expression on my face is dark. I feel as if I am about to cry.
I turn the page.
On the next page, too, the girl in the picture book looks as if she is about to cry.
A lonely girl wanders through the forest.
The illustration depicts a girl staggering through the forest. The next page also showed a picture of a girl wandering aimlessly, with nowhere to go. There was no text on that page.
Turn the page and there is an illustration of me crying.
'I heard something whimpering in the ear of the crying girl.
The text also included a cry on my side of the page that said, "Hihihin, hihiin.
'If the girl looks your way.'
The next page shows me turning around. And Sifo appears only in shadow.
When I turned the page, I saw a large spread showing Cifo. I was startled by the sight of him behind my back.
I turn to the next page and see a large spread showing Cifo in the background.
I turned the page.
The girl was so startled that she couldn't speak.
My illustration is frozen.
On the next page, "The white horse puts its face to the girl.
I turn the page.
The spread shows Sifo carrying me on his back. I had been crying, but now my face is a little brighter.
The horse was a very kind-hearted demon.
'Thank you, horse, thank you.
The girl laughed when she met the kind-hearted horse.
The picture book ended there. On the last page, there was a description of the creator of the book.
The picture book is 20 pages long, including the title page and the pages describing the creator and other information. The text was short, easy to understand, and very readable.
It's amazing."
Lelunda is so cute in the picture book.
I wonder if I can be in a picture book someday!
Gaius, Shinomi and Lilid shouted excitedly. I was as embarrassed as the three of them, but I also felt a sense of excitement.
'Picture book, that's great, Mr. Ran.
'Hmmm, I made it with everything I've got right now! I'm sure you'll spread the word about it and get a lot of plans going!
Lan-san said happily, smiling as if she was planning something. I thought that Mr. Lan was really thinking ahead.
He is planning to mass-produce the picture book little by little and spread it to everyone.
