There are a lot of people here, as it is the capital of the king.
I am amazed, and Gaius is a little wary.
Gaius was in the Migga Kingdom and didn't go out much in the city because he was a beastman. Perhaps he was uncomfortable being in a place with so many humans.
Not all humans are enemies of the beastmen. Gaius is friendly with the knights of the Migga Kingdom in the village, but he is still afraid of places with many humans.
I don't have a bad feeling about it, and I'm sure he'll be fine, but I don't blame ...... Gaius for feeling that kind of fear.
I'm going to hold Gaius' hand.
I asked him, "Is there anywhere you want to go, Gaius?"
The first thing I did was to ask him if he wanted to go to a big place like this.
I don't know where to go because it's my first time to move around freely in such a big place. I'm kind of dizzy. There are too many people."
I know. I'm the same way. There are so many things around that I don't know where to start.
There is only one store in the village. But in this big city, there are countless stores. People come and go at a dizzying pace, and it makes me feel like I'm dizzy.
Lernda, Gaius. Let me show you around. Let's stop at a nice place.
Mr. Lan smiles at me.
We nodded our heads in agreement, knowing that he was more familiar with this kind of large city than we were, and that we would have a pleasant day if we followed him.
The first place Lan-san took us to was a delicious pastry store. We were first taken to a shop that sells delicious pastries made with flour and lots of sugar. It was a taste I had never had before, and it was delicious.
There were so many customers that the waitress seemed to be having a hard time. While I was eating, I was teased by a man. The man who was involved was kicked out by an employee.
I thought to myself, "That can happen when there are a lot of people.
To make our village a big place, a capital like here, and a country, it means that such problems will naturally happen.
It would be wonderful if we could understand all people and dare to share the same aspirations with all people, but that is not probable. Even if I were a child of God, even if I had some influence, I could not do such a thing. I don't think I would want to do that in the first place. I don't think I would want to do that in the first place, because if I really were such a being, even if I were alive here, I would feel as if I were not alive at all.
I was looking at Gaius and I nodding at each other, and Ran and everyone else was smiling at me.
It is nice to eat delicious food like this. In our village, there is still no culture of paying money to get something. This time, I heard that in the royal capital, Lan and his friends are getting money by selling things they brought from their village.
With some of the money they get, we are having meals like this.
I also learned how to handle money little by little in this Migga Kingdom. Little by little, our village is getting the groundwork to make that place bigger by connecting with the outside world and acquiring money.
I am happy about that.
I am happy to feel that, step by step, the future that Gaius and I had in mind and that we had all hoped for is coming closer.
The reason why I am enjoying exploring the Kingdom of Migga so much is probably because I was able to talk with Alice. It was a great pleasure for me to be able to talk with Alice in a friendly manner.
'--Lernda, Gaius, shall we look at the bookstore too?
Isn't that just what Landano wants to see ......?"
'...... sure that's part of it though! It's good for Lelunda and Gaius to go and buy books. And you learn a lot of information being exposed to books!"
After a sweet treat, Mr. Lan apparently decided to take us to the bookstore.
I am sure that Mr. Lan really wanted to go to the bookstore, but I am also sure that he made that suggestion with us in mind.
Gaius and I looked at each other, smiled a little, and nodded.
I'd like to see the books about spirits, if there are any.
I would love to see a book about spirits," he said. I would like to know how much this country has to do with spirits.
Frene and the Ware spirits also agreed to head to the bookstore.
I haven't seen any spirits in this country so far. Frene and Ware have not seen any spirits either. But if there is a connection with spirits, they would like to know about it.
Ware, in particular, has been in a deep sleep for a long time, so he may be curious about what is out there.
The first time I visited a bookstore, I was surprised to see a quantity of books that I had never seen before. I was also surprised to find that books are expensive, even more expensive than the snacks I had just eaten.
Ran-san had quite a variety of books in his hands. Gaius and I each bought one book that we were interested in.
It was exciting to learn so many new things just by exploring the Migga Kingdom for a little while.
