“At least the city is sealed, we have less ground to cover.” Wei Liao nodded and sighed heavily.
“Has Qin Chu tried using the satellites to locate Little Bean and Pudding’s phones?” Su Yu asked Tang Chuan.
“Yes, but no luck. Someone probably blocked it,” he replied.
“Shit, it seems like the kidnapper came prepared. He even knew to bring signal disrupting devices…” said Wei Liao.
“That’s enough. Stop wasting time. We’ll split ways. Call me immediately if anyone has any leads.” Su Yu hurried downstairs, no longer in the mood for drinking.
– Inside of a house somewhere in the suburbs –
Pudding and Little Bean sat across from a little girl that was focused on the toys in front of her.
The little girl looked extremely happy, while the twins’ minds were somewhere far away.
“Sis… When can we leave here? Why do I think we’re very far from home,” Little Bean asked in a hushed tone.
“Shhh, don’t talk.” Pudding put a finger on her lip and gestured for Little Bean to stay quiet.
Around noontime, when their grandpa was paying for lunch, Little Bean noticed Tiantian just outside the side door. She was being held by a man that Little Bean didn’t recognize, so she did what was sensible and told Pudding.
Out of curiosity, the sisters went out to see what was going on. However, as soon as they stuck their heads out, they were bagged over the head and drugged. By the time they woke up, it was already dark out, and they were being transported in what seemed like the back of a small truck.
After a long journey of bumpy roads, they were dropped off to a place that they were not familiar with.
Pudding was as calm as always and didn’t feel slightly scared at all. Little Bean, on the other hand, was getting anxious as the realization dawned on her that it was dark and she was unable to go home.

“Tiantian, where’s your mom?” Pudding asked.
“Mommy went to work.”
“What about the man that was hugging you today? Do you know him?” Pudding continued.
“He…” Before Tiantian could answer, the sound of the lock jiggled outside.
A short and skinny looking man with tanned skin walked in. He looked on the older side, perhaps in his forties.
“Eat,” he spoke Mandarin with a heavy accent. He then put down two plates on the table.
“We have three people here, why are there only two portions? How can we be full?” Little Bean complained.
“Hello? How do you have the appetite to eat right now?” Pudding gave her sis an eye roll.
The man didn’t say anything, and he simply picked up Tiantian up and was on his way out.
“Hey, what are you doing? Let go of my friend! Where are you bringing her?” Little Bean bravely walked up and grabbed the man’s shirt. But, to her surprise, the man gave her a hard shove and threw her to the floor.
“Ah!” Little Bean yelled in pain as she fell hard on her bum.
The man took Tiantian with him and locked the door once more.
“Little Bean, are you okay?” Pudding rushed over to help her up, losing her cool when she saw her sister in pain.
“Sis, that bad guy, he took Tiantian! What should we do? Will Tiantian be in danger? Auntie Yanyan saved our lives before. I don’t want anything to happen to Tiantian. Sis, you’re smart, hurry and think of something!” For the first time, Little Bean worried about another person’s well-being so much that she almost started crying.
“Little Bean, don’t be so hasty. I will explain to you later.” As Pudding finished speaking, she began to look around the room.
“Sis, what are you looking for? I will help you,” Little Bean rubbed her butt as she walked over.
